Studio on Shem Creek with a Deep Water Dock & Views of Freshwater Lake

This beautiful and immaculately renovated studio on Shem Creek, in the heart of Mt Pleasant, SC is the perfect place to experience the charm of the Lowcountry. A large and private lot with separate pathways throughout have all added to the privacy of this studio. The studio is centrally located between Downtown Historic Charleston, the beaches of Sullivans Island, and Isle of Palms. This picturesque property provides views of a five-acre fresh water lake, marshland and gorgeous sunsets. Two kayaks, two bikes and two paddle boards are provided free-of-charge so that you can paddle down the creek to dinner or bike to the many restaurants and shops on Coleman Blvd. Guests are welcome to bring and dock their own boat for an extra charge (we are only 1.5 miles from the Charleston Harbor by water). This bird lovers paradise showcases marsh and fresh water birds throughout almost 2 acres of land (Bald eagles, ospreys and otters have been spotted on the lake). Enjoy the shade of the property's southern live oak trees or soak up the sun as you fish or crab off the deep water dock.

Beautiful property and great hosts. Close to all my favorite Charelston spots. Minuets from downtown and Sullivan's island. Host provided so many extras to make our stay special and fun. We had a great time adventuring in Kayas on shem creek and watching the wild life from the dock in the morning. We would definitely stay here again! Communication was perfect. Everything was easy and comfortable.

This is an amazing place to stay with the best of both worlds - surrounded by nature tucked in a quiet neighborhood, but so close to Mt Pleasant shopping and food, and only 15 mins into Charleston. It’s the lower floor of a home, but it feels like you have the place to yourself. Jackie was so kind and accommodating, and the space is clean, modern and comfortable. We laid in the hammock under the trees, watched all the wildlife, and kayaked on Shem. We’ll be back!

Best stay ever!!!! I will be staying here again next time I’m back in Charleston. The host was awesome- she left us homemade fig jam & honey from her bees with biscuits from a local bakery. The place was so clean and cute as can be with an amazing view of the water. We had everything we needed. The bed was to die for. Couldn’t have been happier!

We had an amazing time! They made it all simple and so nice. Everything was as pictured, and we thoroughly enjoyed the docks and hammocks. There were also plenty of restaurants, experiences, shops, and beaches within a very short drive. I hope we will get to come back again!

The hosts go above and beyond to provide everything you could need for an amazing stay and more! The property is absolutely beautiful and the location couldn’t be more ideal to enjoy everything the area has to offer! We biked to the beach, kayaked to the creek restaurants and took a short drive into Charleston! It was perfect!

Rented for our friends wedding and it was exactly how the description said. Grounds were beautiful and the place was clean. It was easy to access restaurants and shops. The owner was very nice and accessible if we needed anything. One of the easiest check in ever. Thanks for making this an awesome stay. We will definitely return.

Our host, Jackie, was fantastic! The property is stunning and super clean. Jackie has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. She even had tea, coffee and biscuits with fresh honey in the unit. The king bed was comfortable and linens high quality. We used the fire pit by Shem creek in the backyard on our last night and it was so peaceful! The property is close to restaurants , shops, and a short drive to Sullivan’s Island, the Angel Tree and historic Charleston. We highly recommend this property!!!!

Once you arrive, you will see what a unique piece of property this is. With Shem Creek on one side of the garden and a five acre lake on the other side, we enjoy spectacular views of the lake and the marsh. Yet we are a stones throw to the heart of Mt Pleasant. And only a 10 minute drive to the beach and 10 minutes from historic downtown Charleston.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

You will be the only person sharing this property with us. You have access to the creek, kayaks and two bicycles to help you explore Mt Pleasant. Also available is the ability to bring your boat (up to 23 feet) and leave it in the water, so you can enjoy all the water activities Charleston has to offer without having to launch your boat daily. The dock has power and water to clean you boat and catch. There is good fishing off the dock for red fish, trout and flounder.
