The location is a solid 5 star but very busy of Friday-Sunday as everyone's trying to park for the beach! Holes in the dining chair bottom, terribly worn / uncomfortable sofa and a non working toaster that was requested twice during the week with no response if your paying 11,000/week were the only reason for the 4 stars, Would still stay again at a discounted rate.

Great place to stay!

One block from the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything needed for days at the beach - umbrellas, beach towels, chairs. . .

Great friends getaway

Wonderful location near the pier and the local eateries and bars. House had plenty of comfortable beds and outdoor areas for sitting and grilling. Would recommend this place over and over again.

Awesome beach house

Great property just off the beach and walking distance to so many great restaurants. So awesome to not have to worry about parking and getting around. Awesome house and hosts were great to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

Family get away

Great location. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and dishes. The host was very responsive!

Spring break stay

We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and comfortable with nice furnishings. The home was close to the beach. It was also very close to restaurants and bars, which made it kind of noisy at night as people were leaving the bars.

Great location, close to everything!

This beach house was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room for our family of four. It was very close to the beach and many restaurants. It is a little noisier being close to downtown, but things settled down during the week. It was very enjoyable on the deck with the beautiful ocean views!

Beach getaway

We loved the convenience of the house. It is merely steps from Newport pier and beach. The house is also cute and we’ll put together. Our local guides also made the check in process smooth and they were accessible for anything throughout my stay. We can’t wait to see what other properties are under their belt for future vacays.

Amazing location and amenities

We had an amazing family beach vacation. The house was clean and modern and so close to the beach. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. great feature! The only negative is that on Saturday, the streets get very crowded and at night, it gets very noisy.

Super Fun September Stay at Sea Sight

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Sight property in Newport! - Like many of the other reviews, yes there is a night and day noise factor related to the amount of pedestrian traffic, vehicles that frequent the neighborhood, (especially the weekend) but when you are located on a street that dead ends at one of the most beautiful beaches in southern California, and a block away from all the local bars and restaurants in the area, noise is to be expected. This is a very active, fun area, so if you are looking for perfect location location location for easy access to the beach, outdoor activities and food and beverage, this is the place for you! The property itself is beautiful older/historical wood architecture, and overall the place is comfortable, the 2nd level patio is the perfect place to chill with friends and family around the fire pit with a partial beach/ocean view and wonderful ocean breezes. The only criticism is the hide-a-bed couch in the den/living room that could use an upgrade. Last but not least, the 'hosts' Nolan and Eduardo were great! Very helpful, friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back!!!

Family Beach week (just missed Hurricane)

Luckily it wasn’t too hot because there was a nice breeze with windows open. Close to restaurants and but only a little noisy at night. Nicely stocked kitchen. The drip coffeemaker broke but they got us a new one right away. Dinners and fire pit time on the deck upstairs had a lovely view of the ocean and sunset. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner and worked well. Couch in the living room was uncomfortable as the seat cushions kept slipping off. Little fenced yard was great for little kids and dogs. Provided beach equipment was minimal: a couple chairs and sand toys. There were lots of good beach towels and a roller cooler bag but the 2 beach umbrellas were too flimsy for the wind. Best beach location in Newport: flat smooth sand great for kids with some bigger waves for the older ones to boogie board. We had a great time and luckily left the day that Hurricane Hilary hit! What an adventure!

So many wonderful things about this property the location is perfect. We celebrated our son‘s graduation from UCI. The 23-25 yr olds were able to walk to all the popular bars at night and during the day we were steps from the beach. On downtime we spent a lot of our time on the top deck with the fire pit. It was lovely. We were able to walk short distances to get coffee and donuts in the morning and go for walks on the bike path and get ice cream at night. The house was super clean and had everything you needed. Loved the smell of the bathroom high end products as well! Plenty of beach gear and towels. We will definitely be staying at this property again. The one thing that stood out besides the property was the constant attention we were given throughout the entire check-in and check-out process. We never felt like we were on our own. We were constantly checked on to make sure that all our needs were met. We stay at homes vs hotels frequently all the time because we travel with a large party with our family. It was so nice and refreshing to have that attention. Parking was wonderful. We had two spots in the driveway that was such a peace of mind in Newport Beach! Very memorable trip for our family we also had two of our family members fly back to college out of JW airport straight from checkout and was only 15 min drive to airport! And 2 more went to Disneyland and it was only 25 minutes! Great location if your looking to do other things in area! We will be back!

We love that the top deck with the fire pit became your go-to spot to unwind, and that the clean, fully stocked home — high-end bathroom products and all that beach gear included — had everything your family needed. It means so much to hear the constant attention throughout check-in and check-out stood out, especially as a family that travels together often. And those two driveway spots plus the easy access to the airport and Disneyland? Peace of mind and convenience rolled into one! We'd absolutely love to welcome your family back — thank you again for staying with us!
