Spectacular 5 Bedroom Balboa Beach House

Located just steps from the sand and boardwalk in the heart of the stunning Balboa peninsula, this gorgeous beach home will get you in vacation mode the minute you walk through the front door!

The main house offers a large, open kitchen/dining/living room area with a gas fireplace for those cool coastal nights. Modern, comfortable furniture with warm accents and no clutter make the space feel open and inviting.

Each bedroom in the main house has a smart tv and separate full bathroom. The stunning upstairs master bedroom is absolutely fabulous with its own living area that includes a sofa, arm chairs, coffee table, smart tv and gas fireplace.

The back house has an adorable, completely separate, fully renovated one bedroom suite that includes its own living room, dining room, kitchen with stainless appliances and bathroom with glass walk in shower and pebbled stone tiling. There is also a small bedroom on the lower level with a pull out sofa that has a separate entrance that is perfect for a teenager or adult wanting a space of their own. The back house is also home to a two car garage but please not it is not very tall or long so will not fit large trucks or SUVs.

Between the two houses is a breezeway with an outdoor shower and loads of space to put your boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc.

Great location. Unfortunate timing for one of the hottest weeks of the year without central air. Owner is great to work with and quick to respond.Eventually got the house to cool down to an acceptable level.

We loved our stay at this property. The hosts did a great job with communication. We were able to cook full meals for the family. We were able to walk to the beach and had plenty of options to choose from if we wanted to go out to eat. Highly recommend staying here!

There were two units included - the "front" unit a three bedroom place and the "back" unit a one bedroom place up a flight. The front unit has three ensuite bathrooms. The back unit also has a bathroom. A fifth bedroom was below the back unit but without a bathroom. Both the front and back had kitchens. A smallish two-car garage is also included. The property is just a short walk to the beach. There is parking on the street in front subject to availability. We had two cars and no real problem with on-street parking. There is a nice patio in the front of the main unit with a table and chairs suitable for six people. There are two other chairs on the patio. The kitchen in the front unit is well equipped. We did not use the kitchen in the back unit.

Great house for our family’s beach vacation. The house had everything we needed and host was easy to communicate with if we did have questions. The proximity to the beach, restaurants and entertainment was perfect!

Great house! A minute from the beach. Has a little back property that we didn’t use but was very nice. We didn’t cook there so we didn’t need any utensils. There was a few chairs and toys out back to use at the beach(we didnt use them) but is nice if you have kids. We stayed in the main house upstairs-king bed, my husband and I thought the bed was uncomfortable and very firm. Our friends said the beds they slept in downstairs were comfy. Would definitely stay here again. Close proximity to many things.

Standouts here were that the house was well appointed, very clean and so close to the beach. A few small things need attention, but nothing that affected our enjoyment of this wonderful property. The host was extremely responsive, and I’m sure would have been on top of any requests. Thanks for making our Thanksgiving stay a pleasure!

House is convenience to anything you would wanna do in Balboa or Newport. There’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, including an apartment in the back. We love the house, and the hosts were wonderful.

Great Newport Stay!

This property was wonderful! It is well equipped for lounging at the house and dining in, but also the beach is right around the corner (no streets to cross), take a short walk to Balboa Fun Zone, and there’s plenty of shops, restaurants and the grocery store close by. Will keep this one on the list for future visits!

Great house in a great location

The house has everything we needed during our stay. It is close to everything; beach, restaurants, balboa fun zone and much more. We walked the majority of the time we stayed. Great communication from the owner.

Perfect Trip for 8 family members

We came to do an at sea burial for our dad/grandpa. This location cannot be beat. The accommodations were great. Not fancy, very comfortable & relaxing. Super comfortable beds!!! Great communication with owner.

The rooms were clean. The floors were clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. The manager was very good and took care of us any time we called and had questions. We were very happy about being able to bring our small dog, which is a big plus, and there was more than enough room for all of us.

Perfect beach getaway

The unique layout of this lovely home was perfect for our small group of four adults. We actually had too much room, since the two young adults quickly claimed the gorgeous apartment above the garage! This home had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, and we even extended our quick trip for another night. Communication and location were both excellent too!
