Beautiful property, extraordinary view, right on the lake. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Very comfortable stay, I recommend to anyone visiting the UP.

This cabin is on a fairly small lake deep in the Hiawatha National Forest. We were there during the fall colors and it was amazing. We also did the pictured rocks cruise out of Munising and we were equally impressed. The host responded quickly to any questions we had.

Excellent stay! Britta was a fantastic host — quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and everything was exactly as described. The reservation was all set before we arrived and our four nights went smoothly. We'd absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend! Almost extended our stay because we didn't want to leave.... we had perfect weather on our trip and our little dog had the best time!!!!

It was wonderful! We especially loved the very very peaceful, quiet location and the canoes and kayaks to take out on the lake. Wonderful for our kids! Perfect location for peace, quiet, and being right on a beautiful forested lake. It was about a forty minute drive to munising so keep that in mind if you want to be closer to pictured rocks. But for us, we didn't mind the little drive, it was an easy beautiful drive and we liked being away from everything.

We are so happy you found peace and solitude at Tall Pines. You are right that although it’s about a 40 minute drive to Pictured Rocks, the gorgeous drive through the Hiawatha National Forest makes it all part of the journey!

Loved the quiet location. The furniture is very comfortable. Large windows on three sides offer an excellent view of the lake. Great deck on lakefront. Overall comfortable and cozy.

Beautiful setting in Hiawatha National Forest. The wood burning sauna was a wonderful addition, with the option to cold plunge in the lake. Peaceful and quiet. The cabin is cozy, vintage, and well-maintained. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. We'd definitely stay there again!

Laundry onsite was nice, location was peaceful, it was a little difficult to find accurate online directions, host was great to work with.

Lovely rustic cabin on lake. Tall Pines is nestled in the woods and offers privacy and all basic amenities. If you're seeking some fishing, boating and nature, it's the perfect spot.

It was a welcome rustic and beautiful home on Stoner Lake front. Excellent Family time both in the cabin and on the lake. Throughly restful and good time. Many memories were made .....

This was a wonderful getaway with my husband. Very quiet. We enjoyed the lake with the kayaks and canoe that was included with our stay! it added so much to our trip, we are so grateful that they offer them to their guests. We would love to come back sometime.

Excellent Peaceful Setting!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was excellent, quiet, peaceful, etc. The property manager was responsive to all questions I had and the WiFi worked great!

Rustic vacation in National Forest

The cabin was everything we hoped; just secluded enough, clean, well stocked, comfortable and everthing was in working order. We especially enjoyed the deck and fishing off the dock. Host was responsive and friendly. We loved every minute of our stay.

Beautiful location. Peaceful, comfortable beds, super cute, and close to the "General Store" if you need basics or just snacks. Great communication with the owners is needed (we asked for directions).If we ever visit Michigan again we would love to stay there again

Excellent Family Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin and all the activities available for use. We fished on the pontoon, kayaked, canoed, and my kids loved jumping off the dock to swim in the lake. Property was very clean and owners were great to work with and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay here again :)

Cabin on the lake

Nice cabin on the lake. Very quiet and pretty secluded. Kayaks and boat to use. Caught plenty of fish right off the dock.
