Seattle at its Best - the Premiere Walking Neighborhood!!

Your private apartment is set within a gorgeous, beautifully-appointed 1917 Craftsman Bungalow in the premiere walking district of Seattle - theaters, restaurants, shopping and more shopping, parks and trails for walking and biking; close to bus lines to downtown Seattle, the Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Center and the Sound Transit trains; near the tulip fields and ferries to the San Juan Islands and historic areas north of Seattle; Mt. Rainier and Mount St. Helens are a day-trip; quiet, residential neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Relax on the outside patio for some quiet time, enjoy a short walk to one of the neighborhood theaters or restaurants (sushi, Italian, Japanese, Thai, vegetarian, fusion, pizza, etc., etc.). There's nothing you'll need that you can't find in Wallingford. The apartment is large and gracious with opening garden windows which are visible to the right of the front door in the picture.

We had a lovely stay! We loved the eclectic, warm and welcoming vibe. We loved the outdoor space. We enjoyed meeting our host! Great neighborhood to walk in and Garnet had great helpful tips.

We really liked the location. Nice neighborhood and easy access to all of Seattle. When we didn’t feel like driving, restaurants and a grocery store were within walking distance. Comfy place with everything we needed!

This was the most perfect place to stay for a beautiful spring Seattle getaway! Super close to tons of shops, coffee spots, and restaurants. The apartment itself is so beautiful and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed when we didn't feel like eating out or when we just wanted to have a quiet night in. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to return for another visit. :)

Nice clean place; fully equipped kitchen/dining area and bathroom and cutely decorated! Host/owner was really easy to reach out to and responded quickly as well. Terrific place to be as everything is close by (restaurants, drug stores, grocery store, etc.).

Garnett is a gracious host with a lovely home. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything to cook a meal, and peaceful neighborhood. Her front yard is a beautiful relaxing oasis and her home is convenient to many restaurants, shops and grocery stores.Will definitely stay again!

Great place to stay.

Very cozy apartment. The location was convenient and very walkable to local restaurants. Pleasant neighborhood, great for just strolling around. Garnett was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her.

Honeymoon Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed everything the house and neighborhood had to offer. Great restaurants, bars, and walking in the area. We cooked many meals in as well, enjoying the kitchen.

We really enjoyed staying in the small quaint apartment. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The sanctuary outside was really enjoyable with the fountain and the lights at night.

Great place

Great classic place in the heart of Seattle and such great hosts. They had a book of favorite restaurants which were all great. Made staying there a breeze.

I bought my house in 1987. Once I toured this neighborhood, I knew it was for me. The mother-in-law apartment was part of the house when I moved in - and has provided opportunity for 'sharing the wealth' all these years.

You'll be able to look out the back kitchen window at the lovely garden, close the curtains for a quiet and peaceful sleep in the bedroom, enjoy the bright sun and park-view from the living area.
