The cabin was very clean and was as it was described. Amy responded for any questions that we had. She recommended places to go to eat, sightseeing or shopping.

Great cabin for a launching spot to see all the sights. The fire pit was great with ample seating. Amy is very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend!!

Everything was great. I was there for the Sleeping Bear Dunes 5k and Marathon and a nice note greeted me to thank me and wish me well in the race. The cabin was wonderful. Spent the evening playing cards with my daughter and her fiancé.

We loved the cabin. The huge selection of dvd’s and games were nice on the rainy days. We enjoyed the campfire every night. It has that cozy cabin feeling!! Weldon’s is just down the road and has great coffee. The dunes, beaches and hikes are not to far of a drive either.

We had a great time at the cabin up north! Amy was super responsive and even hooked us up with A/C, which was incredible. Platte Lake is beautiful with so much to do nearby!

The back door and steps could have been a little safer for an eighty-one year old couple. Maybe a light above the stove would help. Some of the wood could have been split to burn easier in the fire pit. Otherwise a pretty nice place.

Great stay

Loved all the amenities and the private location. Plenty of firewood and enjoyed the cast iron pans.

Great little place to stay with a small family or by yourself. It’s about 15 minutes from Crystal Mountain, 25 minutes from the Sleeping Bear Dunes overlook, and around 25 minutes from the Crystal River. The host also has lots of fun movies and games in case you get stuck inside with bad weather.

The cabin was everything needed for a weekend of memories. The host,Amy left a few suggestions of things to do and see. Which made for a perfect time. The kitchen was stocked with everything that was needed for preparing snacks or meals. We will stay here again.

Beautiful area and wonderful host

Loved the cabin, host was amazingly responsive and understanding. Place was well kept and stocked with movies, board games and appliances.

Best trip ever

We had an amazing time . The cabin is a home away from home. It’s beautiful inside and out. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the fire pit. We will definitely return

Family vacation

Great location with close access to Lake Michigan and cute beach towns. Peaceful area for rest and relaxation. Loved sitting on the front porch with a good cup of coffee.

Honor cabin

Overall everything was great, was a little out of the way and disappointed there was no access to either lake near us. Cabin was clean and comfortable, tablecloth on DR table needed to be scrubbed - it was a bit sticky! We enjoyed our stay.
