Built in 1927 and previously owned by the actor Errol Flynn, this luxurious Hollywood beach home is an iconic landmark for the area. Beautifully restored by Los Angeles designer and builder, this home is spacious and family friendly for a dream vacation. A unique property never before been offered to guests in a pagoda style of architecture with hints of art deco beach vibes throughout.

Home and property were gorgeous. If I could live there I would! Everything is super clean and all is updated with such a beautiful touch. Would highly recommend a couple week stay to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the water and boats. Watching the seal lions on the docks and hearing them is an experience if one has never observed them. All in all this is an A home and experience

The house is situated in a lovely location looking out on the harbor. The beach is a quick easy walk. The house has plenty of romantic areas to sit and sip on coffee.

Beautiful home, great location…steps to sand and harbor. It really shows pride of ownership and high end construction. Sparkling clean and stocked with everything you could want, just bring clothes and food! Plenty of comfy seating and the large dining room table was great for our family dinners. Owners are responsive and great to communicate with. Perfect dive bar just steps away. If you’re thinking of staying anywhere near the Channel Islands Harbor, book this place you won’t regret it.

We loved the house and neighborhood. The house is beautiful inside and out. Everyone loved the beds and how well the house was stocked. They have provided everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation. There are several nice restaurants in the area and we loved the Rudder Room bar just a block away,.

The Pagoda

Amazing stay. Everything as advertised. Pictures don’t do it justice. Best part wasn’t even mentioned- it was watching the sea lions right from your windows! They were so fun to watch. Loved everything about our stay.

Gorgeous Home in a Terrific Location

The home is very comfortable and cozy and beautifully appointed. Lots of nice indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering, plus a few spaces--again, indoor and outdoor--for those seeking a little solitude. Excellent location, with the marina on one side and the beach--just a couple of hundred steps away--on the other side, Very convenient to some good local restaurants, plus shopping. Highly recommend.

Amazing

Our family beach trip to the Pagoda was fantastic! Thank you for sharing your home with us. The details and decor are truly top notch. I have stayed at many places around the world and although we only lived 30 min away, I am so happy we choose this property! The beds were so comfortable, plenty of towels and the bikes were fun! We will definitely be back for more family fun!

Great place to stay! Great history!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the pagoda. It is a beautiful house, I enjoyed just walking around and admiring the craftsmanship! It has every amenity imaginable and some you’d never think of. The only draw back for us and I’m sure it’s not very common was how late the cleaning crew was running, I feel like they probably cut a few corners to get done sooner so we could get in the house but we checked in almost an hour and a half late. This was a minor inconvenience however and no fault of the host or the property. We hope to come back to stay in the house in the future!

Most beautiful home I've ever stayed in

It is clear no expense was spared in the renovations of this property. It is absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated! The layout of the downstairs is wonderful and allows for several different groups/activities to happen in one space without being overwhelming. The views of the harbor were amazing and there was no shortage of sea lions and birds to complete the experience. It is a quick walk to the sand, but you have to wade through a bit of sand to see and get to the ocean. The beach is buffered by the channel so great for little kids because the waves are minimal. Because no expense was spared, we found some of the appliances were a little trickier to navigate than we are used to. Perhaps a cheat sheet would be helpful for future guests. This truly is an amazing property and the hosts were super attentive and nice.

The décor is exceptional—every room reflects understated luxury, with furnishings, artwork, and finishes that are both beautiful and inviting.What impressed us most was the attention to detail. Everything in the home has been carefully chosen not only for its beauty but also for comfort and practicality. The result is a space that feels both sophisticated and wonderfully livable.The owners were equally impressive. Their communication was prompt, friendly, and responsive throughout our time there.The Pagoda offers far more than just a place to stay —it provides a memorable experience. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already talking about a return visit.

This house was an absolute 10/10 for our family! My family of 4 was traveling with my parents and all 6 of us agreed that this house was perfection! The beach is a mere block away, and the marina (with its sea lions) was so fun to watch.It's clear that the house is well loved, as it is beautifully decorated and there is attention to detail throughout every room. It's well appointed, having absolutely everything we could have needed (we even found marshmallow sticks for S'mores on the firetable!), and every bed was wonderfuly comfortable. Erica was also responsive and helpful both before and during our stay, which helped to make this home the best way to end our 2 week California vacation! I don't often say this, but this house, given it's location, attention to detail, and amenities is well worth the value. We were so glad to have found it!

My code to get in wasn't working, but I easily contacted the host, and she was able to reprogram the code and quickly gain us access. The house was amazing - bright, clean, view of marina, spacious, plenty of room, and decorating nicely. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house!
