This is a newly renovated five bedroom, four bathroom penthouse on the beach. Restoration Hardware furniture, Wolf Range, Subzero Refrigerator with beautiful architectural design elements. The kitchen has a large island which can seat 6 comfortably. The brand new teak table can also seat 8 guests comfortably. All seats and eating areas (except the downstairs unit -accessed from an outdoor staircase) have a spectacular view of the ocean. Each themed bedroom has its own full bathroom. Cosy Earth sheets adorn all the king beds. There is one parking space in the garage for a normal size car and one space for a smaller golf cart or small vehicle. There are also two additional spaces outside for a total of four spaces. The property is a seven minute walk to downtown and right on the strand about a half a mile south of the Oceanside pier. Every Thursday night, you may walk into town for an open air street bazaar with food and wares for sale from all over the world. We are also located just south of Orange County (Camp Pendleton) and located in North San Diego County. Without traffic, San Diego is 35 minutes away. Los Angeles (83mi) is 90 min away. The City Of Oceanside now boasts several activities and wonderful restaurants including their iconic pier. The surf liner train is a four minute walk from the property. Simply wonderful. Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Southern California, Oceanside stands as a beacon of tranquility and beauty, offering an unparalleled experience for those seeking respite by the ocean. Our host was very easy to work with and was very accommodating. The house was as well stocked as any VRBO we've stayed at. The location was perfect and the kids especially loved the little park next door. The scenery could not be beat. It was a perfect place for our large family to all be together. A BIG THANK YOU!

Oceanside Beach Vacation

We were so pleased with this experience! The beaches were clean and fun for boogie boarding and building sand castles! The house was stunning and matched the description to a tee! The downtown area was filled with many restaurant options as well!

This beach front property is the best for Ironman 70.3 Oceanside. We were amazed and our expectations not only met but far exceeded. We loved everything about the property and experience.

Fantastic beach get away in a perfect location

We had a wonderful time staying in this gorgeous beach vacation rental. The beds are super comfortable with luxurious linens. The kitchen is the most well-stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed in. We loved having access to multiple boogie boards, surfboards, beach towels, sand toys, and a washer and dryer in the garage. The beach is easily accessible by a staircase adjacent to a lovely little grassy park. The O’Side Pier and downtown are a quick walk along the water. Fun restaurants, shops, and coffee are close by. And the PHENOMENAL view took our breath away!!

Even though this place was quite expensive per night we were excited to find a beach front property that could accommodate our large family group. We checked in and were extremely confused. The listing said 5 bed 4 baths We could only find 4 bedrooms 3 baths. Then we see a paper with lots of door codes listed and it said outside downstairs code. It felt like puzzle trying to find the rest of the property. We had to go out the front door around the corner down the outside stairs to a code to open a door that led to a hallway with lots of units and we found a door that the next code opened and found the rest of the unit that wasn’t as nice. It was so frustrating to not get what we expected. We went back to the listing to see if we missed somehow that this was two different units. It didn’t at all. I questioned the owner and they said sorry they meant to tell us. They usually disclose that info after it is rented but forgot to tell us! If I knew that I would never have rented it. We were a big family that wanted to stay together. We had to send the oldest of the children down to those rooms and it felt sketchy. There were many homeless people in the area and the thought of young children making that trek was scary. When I questioned the owner he said sounds like you’re unhappy you can leave and I’ll refund you. LEAVE?! We were a large group from out of state here for vacation. Where would we go? That felt ridiculous. I was afraid they would kick us out!

Fantastic week

I bring about 14 athletes from Cal Berkeley for triathlon training camps. I have been doing this for about 10 years, with many Oceanside camps. This is the best place we have stayed. Great location. Beautiful views. Everything was new. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Can't wait to come back.

If vrbo gave me the info i needed i would have never had to bug Heber. He is great at replying back, but hes a Doctor so some text reply are spaced. Other than that house has everything from the bathroom products to kitchen utensils. Also to find a home on the beach with hot running water and working A/C is rare. Now, let me tell you this house is a absolute stunning home. Phenomenal views from living room or if you wanna do dishes lookin out the window with palm trees swaying, waves crashing and watching people play at the park and walking the pier. Eazy parking spots, garage also available. They let you use beach gear as well. I came with a party of 9 and had extra 2 come and stay and there later on and was pleanty of room for all of us. Thank you again Herber!

Family getaway to the beach

The property was exceptional. Heber was very responsive and kind! Everything was just as described. The only drawback, was the neighborhood and beach area in general seemed rougher than I remembered. The police were there regularly to drive away the homeless crowd and try to keep order in and around the park next door. The beach was very rocky right by the house, so we had to walk down toward the pier to enjoy any sandy beaches. Overall it was a very nice stay and the views from the house were incredible! The house is perfectly clean and very high end.

Beautiful home!

The home is as beautiful as the pictures reflect. The ocean views are gorgeous. The property is walking distance to shops and restaurants; beach access was very easy. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the living room was a phenomenal space for the entire family to play games together. The kitchen was well-equipped. Although we had no issues to address, the owner was easy to reach and very responsive to questions. We could see fireworks from the balcony on the 4th of July. We kept the balcony door open most of the time for fresh breezes and ocean sounds. Great three generation family vacation! Also, technology worked well for those that had to “work from home” and for watching Top Gun movie.

The house is beautiful. The location to the beach, pier and downtown was an easy, short walk. The view of the ocean was outstanding and we could watch the sunset from our balcony. It was nice to have plenty of beach towels and water toys for everyone. No doubt, the location is perfect.On arrival, we did have a few glitches and Heber was very apologetic. One drawback we did encounter was that the bottom unit is very small. We did not realize that this property has 4 units”and the bottom unit is divided by an indoor hallway and can be noisy. Also, one of the bedrooms in the top unit leads directly into the garage and the garage entry door opens into this bedroom. The house was well supplied with everyday essentials, such as paper towels, and toilet paper. The best part of this house is the main dwelling area which is very nice with its large picture windows.

This was the perfect spot for our reunion with four families and young kids. The house had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to all the beach essentials, and the beach was just steps from the property, making it incredibly convenient. Heber was quick to respond, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The location was fantastic as well—within walking distance of many great restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it!

Our beachfront property has hosted many families over the years, and this is the first time we’ve received this type of concern. The downstairs bedrooms are part of the same rental but are accessed through a separate exterior entrance. When you contacted me, my intention in offering a full refund if you chose not to stay was simply to give you an option rather than have you spend your vacation somewhere you felt was not a good fit. It was never intended to pressure you to leave, and I’m sorry if it came across that way.
