Great property for a Denver area trip. The backyard is a great place to hang out, eat dinner, and of course the pickleball court was tons of fun.

Thanks for a wonderful experience at the Retro Oasis in Arvada. We spent a long weekend as part of a reunion of close college friends, a tradition going on 30 years. This venue was perfect because of its proximity to Red Rocks and other nearby hiking spots in as well as having its own pickleball court in the backyard. Thanks to our fantastic hosts who ensured our stay was wonderful!

Overall, the property was so fun. A lot of thought went into the design so each room felt unique. Many fun features inside the house: disco ball, lots of places to lounge, and pickleball court in the backyard were fantastic. Check in was easy and check out rules were pretty clear. 20 minute drive from all of the places we wanted to visit for was perfect for our group.

Great cozy home

Honestly, just do it. Better in real life than in the pictures! Highly recommend, would love to stay here again next time we're in town!

Funky Fun home for groups

I came here for my bachelorette trip and enjoyed the amenities, decor and aesthetic of the home. The property also has apple trees with fresh fruit! One of our favorite features was the huge Cuddle Puddle couch for group hangs over morning coffee. 12/10 would stay again!

Cozy, Fun, with a fabulous host, and GREAT outdoor area!

Our family came together for Christmas 2023 - everyone thought it was a GREAT place. Plenty of room and the outside area is outstanding. Great Pickleball court, games, plus a firepit and a Blackstone Griddle! We made some new, lasting Christmas memories - and would highly recommend this rental!

Perfect Fit for Us!

What a cool place! We had so much fun playing pickle ball and trying out the sauna. We also went frisbee golfing nearby. The rooms were comfortable and fit our large group with kids and dogs. It was a great space to cook and serve meals and had a variety of spaces for the whole group to hangout.

Bridal party house

Stayed here with my bridal party and I wouldn’t change a thing. Great photo walls and areas and things are well kept and renovated. My only complaint is the AC didn’t work so the house got hot during the day but there were multiple fans around the house to help with that.

We were in town for a funeral, and this property provided the perfect gathering place for extended family, offering comfort, space, and a bit of much-needed cheer.The interior design was an absolute delight! The fun, quirky, and colorful 1950s retro design made every room feel unique and welcoming. The layout was perfect, offering plenty of room for all of us to eat together and spread out across three separate living areas.The backyard was truly amazing—a fantastic place to decompress and spend quality time together. The pickleball court was a huge hit, and we made great use of the covered patios and the outdoor seating.The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, which made our stay seamless and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better place to gather and support one another. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again.

We needed a place to host a 30th birthday party that allowed gatherings and pets. There were very few options but we selected this home. We appreciated the early checkin and late checkout. The house was well decorated and had many activities. However, i felt as if the upkeep was sub standard at the rate we paid. The front yard had quite a few overgrown weeds, lower bathroom door was damaged as well as a cabinet upstairs. Some of the lights were unplugged and we couldnt get them plugged back in. There was a karaoke machine that was dead and no charger in sight. The main thing that made this a 4 star review was there was a notice on the back porch that stated a 1000 fine for a noise complaint. With the party we had in mind this would have liked to know about the "active noise monitors" beforehand.

Very cool property, was great for a small group looking for a base to do some golfing and hiking in the Denver area.The house is a bit quirky, in a charming way. The backyard is definitely the highlight: big outdoor dining table, fire pit, grill, plenty of adirondack chairs. Plus the pickleball court!Inside the layout is maybe a bit more cramped. The front main room has a nice big dining table, but the galley kitchen is very narrow and, while well stocked, might be difficult to cook huge meals in there. Downstairs the couch area is really comfy and you could easily fit 5-6 adults for a movie comfortably.There are 4 bedrooms, so any group larger than 4 will necessitate sharing rooms. Only one room (in the basement) has an an ensuite but that room also has two beds. The other bathroom downstairs has a bathtub but no shower. Worked for us but any group larger than 6 might find the bed/bath situation a little confining, depending on the age of the group.Location seemed good, Arvada has a lot of stuff around and you're proximal to the mountains if you're looking to hike. Host communication was excellent, would recommend staying!
