Private Rooftop Deck with Beautiful Views of the Gulf!

This beautiful two-bedroom, two bath penthouse Unit D-42 has memorable Gulf views from the screened-in lanai and the large private rooftop sundeck. The modern kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, plenty of counter seating and is fully equipped. The living room has a queen sized sofa sleeper and entertainment center with 50-inch 4K QLED smart TV. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, 43-inch 4K smart TV and direct access to the lanai. The custom designed ensuite master bathroom has a double-sink vanity with plenty of storage space and includes a beautiful seven foot by five foot walk-in shower. In the guest bedroom you’ll find a queen sized bed and twin extra long bed, with Roku HDTV, and an adjacent bathroom with shower and tub. There are granite counter tops and tile and new LVP floors throughout. Linens, including beach towels, are provided along with beach chairs and umbrella.

Pointe Santo de Sanibel is the most sought-after complex on Sanibel Island and is perfect for families. Complimentary high speed wireless internet is provided in the unit and throughout the complex. Splash in the renovated salt water heated pool, and enjoy the adjacent hot tub. Walk out to the biggest, sandiest beach on the island and relax on the beach chairs provided for guests or find that perfect shell on the best shelling beach in the world. Bike paths that take you throughout the island pass the entrance to the complex. Pointe Santo offers everything for a fun family vacation!

Winter Paradise

Relaxing week

The condo was spotless upon our arrival. The views the the screened porch and the roof top terrace were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, and the beach chairs and umbrella were an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Great beach condo.

This properties owners are wonderful hosts. Their unit is clean and stocked with good quality kitchen items including a blender and coffee makers and ice maker in the fridge. They also had nice beach chairs, umbrella, and towels available for use. We loved the rooftop lanai. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time on our first trip to Sanibel! The property was wonderful and excellent shelling on our beach. Unit D42 was well-maintained, stocked, clean and a wonderful home away from home. If it wasn't already booked for our next trip, we would be staying in it again!!

Outstanding vacation. Unit D42 had everything we needed for our trip. Condo is beautiful, clean and well equipped. All the restaurants in the area are top notch, food is incredible. Already booked for next year!

Wonderful Week

We had a great week on Sanibel! A little worried about the weather coming in, but it turned out to be perfect. Condo and grounds were top notch. Very good communication by the owner. The only negative thing I would have to say is that we had to leave. Thanks for the perfect week!!

Winter Escape 2021

Everything was perfect. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your favorite meal including utensils for grilling. The condo is clean and beds are comfortable. The lanai has a beautiful view of the gulf, perfect for your morning coffee. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our wonderful trip to Sanibel Island

The Penthouse Condo was wonderful...the listing description was very accurate. The owner was very helpful with questions and especially when we had a problem with the washing machine... Its was taken care off. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves the beach and likes to go exploring.. Hopefully get back there real soon....

Excellent property. Would give six stars if possible. Description and photos much more accurate than usual. Response of owner to minor problem exceptional . Grounds of resort well maintained. Only recommendation would be a few more wine glasses, but perhaps we didn’t search enough. Would definitely return.

Beautiful Resort and Surroundings!

We loved our week at D42 Pointe Santos. The condo was well equipped and clean. The furnishings on the penthouse deck were the best around along with the views. Sanibel is a beautiful island and great for biking and enjoying nature. The only suggestion I would give to the owners is to put overhead fans in the kitchen and living area to help with air circulation. We did email the owners twice , nothing urgent, and were disappointed when they never responded to our question. Overall we give our week on Sanibel a 5 star!

Perfectly relaxing vacation

This is the perfect condo to enjoy a relaxing vacation week. It is furnished beautifully, with places to lounge and watch TV, or sit under the ceiling fan on the screened lanai, or soak up the sunshine on the roof top deck. The views of the beach and sunset from the roof top deck were incredible! The property is immaculate with has post card views everywhere you look. We visited several other beach areas and voted ours second only to the lighthouse beach. We watched dolphins play in the water right out front on two mornings! We hope to return many times and will definitely request this condo. The owners were quick to answer our many questions and easy to contact. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us!

Sanibel anniversary stay

This unit did not disappoint. The pictures are very accurate and every item in the condo from the silverware to the numerous beach towels exceeded my expectations. This property is an absolute 5 except for the construction ongoing from 8 am until 6 pm in the building next door. Glad we were very rarely there during the day but we could not sit on our porch during the day due to the noise. I doubt knowing this in advance would have changed our mind on staying here but it is good to see this property being taken care of so well.

Fantastic Condo in a Magical Place

We LOVED our stay in this unit! The pictures and description are accurate; unit was well furnished with everything we needed. The owners were helpful in answering questions before our trip and we didn't have any problems during our stay. The unit feels spacious and the multiple TVs are a bonus. The kitchen is well laid out and we appreciated the extra counter and storage on the back wall. Couches were very comfortable as were the beds. Great unit! The Pointe Santo complex is centrally located to everything on the island. Perfect location on the beach to catch sunsets. Loved Baileys General Store just 3 minutes down the street, went there at least once a day for supplies, coffee, donuts, water bottles and sandwiches. As for Sanibel Island, it is as special as everyone says, we can't wait to visit again! We would return to this unit and complex as well.

Another great week at Pointe Santo

This was our 2nd year staying in the Pointe Santo complex and once again it did not disappoint. We love the small feel and friendly people there and the pool, beach, and tennis courts are lovely and conveniently located no matter which building you stay in. As for this specific unit there were things we loved and things we didn't. The kitchen was great, bedrooms had comfy beds, balcony was a great dining spot, and the roof deck had great views and a couple of nice chaises to sunbathe on. We really appreciated having the pull-down murphy bed in the living room too. The guest bath is tastefully updated but the master bath leaves a lot to be desired. The living room has a nice set of couches with powered recline but the arm chair/rocker had busted springs that made you feel like you were going to fall through when sitting on it. As some others have mentioned the living room carpet could stand to be replaced and a couple of us stepped on sharp staples where the rug met the kitchen tile. Also had a dining room chair rip a couple holes in our clothing where a sharp piece of metal stuck out so we hung a towel over it for the rest of the week. Overall I would rate the unit a 3+ and Pointe Santo a 5, so average that out to the 4 stars! We will definitely return to Pointe Santo but would most likely choose a different unit.

Loved every minute!!!

I want to start out by saying how grateful my husband and I are to the owners of D-42. We were originally scheduled to arrive at Point Santo on Saturday August 25th, 2 days prior to Hurricane Issac's arrival on the island. Driving from Atlanta, we didn't want to make the 10 hr trip south, while the residents were driving north out of the storm's path. We were worried about flooding, the causeway closing and the lack of power. We drove down Tuesday and was allowed to stay until the following Tuesday, in order to get 7 full days. Many thanks for your hospitality. It really made our 30th wedding anniversary very special. The condo was very clean and the poictures were accurate. I would definitely recommend D-42. We have been coming to Sanibel since 1986, so we have our favorite restaurants. Among our favorites are: Island Cow, Hungry Heron (which was being remodeled while we were there), Matzaluna, Island Pizza, Mucky Duck and RC Otter (both on Captiva), and The Sanibel Grill. We love to rent bikes from Finnemore's at the beginning of the week and ride in the morning and again after dinner. In the morning we ride to Jerry's for one of their giant donuts and in the evening we ride to Dairy Queen for ice cream. I definitely would recommend vacationing on Sanibel and staying at Point Santo in D-42. Nothings better than sitting on the private rooftop deck looking at the stars and being able to catch a glimpse of a shooting star. What a way to spend an anniversary!!!

We first started going to Sanibel about 25years ago with our children and we always stayed at Pointe Santo. The boys loved roller blading and biking around the island and we have many old photos of them in the pool. We finally realized our dream and purchased a unit at Pointe Santo. We look forward to enjoying all that Sanibel and Pointe Santo have to offer with our now adult children.

This place really does have it all. Sanibel Island is easy to get to from Chicago, but once you've crossed the causeway, you're on a quiet tropical island. The island has a quiet, relaxing feel to it. We checked all the condo complexes on the island and there's no comparison - Pointe Santo's the best.

We love sitting on the beach or by the pool and no trip would be complete without renting bikes and touring the island. Every visit brings a new adventure: kayaking, fishing, learning about native wildlife or trying out a new restaurant.
