Sparkling Clean Oceanfront Condo at Amelia Surf & Racquet

This quiet and comfortable 4th floor condo is three buildings south of a Ritz Carlton hotel and has the same expansive, direct beachfront view as the most expensive rooms at the Ritz. Being on the 4th floor not only makes it quieter but also is high enough to be able to see both the beach and the ocean. The view can be enjoyed from the living room, the dining area, the kitchen, the bedroom and the balcony.
This recently remodeled and well-maintained condo is in a gated resort which has four clay tennis courts and two pools and is located on a shaded hike and bike trail. Nearby are golf courses, kayaking, horseback riding, sailing and surfing opportunities. Free WiFi. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach buggy and large supply of towels and linens furnished.

Excellent host and location

Cynthia was an excellent host!! Lots of information and very thoughtful of our stay. Location was as described and perfect for our needs. Bed was too firm for our tastes, but seems right for most based on other reviews.

The place was outstanding. Although not listed as amenities, I want to highlight that the lounge chairs on the deck were nice for enjoying morning coffee, beach chairs, towels and umbrellas were provided, and the host also provided some coupons to local seafood places which were excellent while saving us some money as well.

Lovely Condo. Very clean, right on the beach. Great location and Cynthia was very easy to work with and accommodating. We would stay there again.

The overall complex is beautiful, the grounds and pools were great. The sunrises were also beautiful. Comfy bed.

Stayed at this condo building a couple times. Great location! I would suggest that the balcony have a table/chairs and a smart TV. limited channels. .channels.channe,acting outside.beaches beautiful

Summer vacation at Amelia Surf and Raquet Club

Our condo was exactly as it was listed. Lots of extra touches by the owners to make you feel welcome. We’ve stayed at this complex several times but this was our first stay in the Parish’s condo. We can’t wait for our next trip to stay there again. I can’t imagine a more beautiful view from any other condo on Amelia. We loved our time there!

the entire experience was great owner replied right away, provided info on the location, and all the amenities. I felt like we were important guests. the condo had absolutely everything! it was clean, bright, and welcoming. The entire resort is very well maintained. we look forward to our next stay

Gorgeous--highly recommend

Amazing view of ocean, saw dolphins, a wright whale, a jumping skate, many mornings. Apt is amazingly clean, very homey, sweet details, and fully stocked with anything you might possibly need. for stay. Owners are warm and generous, epitome of Southern hospitality. Will def be back ASAP---highly recommend.

Very nice

Location was very good with wonderful beach and pool access. The owner provided excellent information to help us get to the property and what was nearby.. The owner thought of every possible traveler scenario and answered questions before we even had to ask. I would recommend this property to friends. The best attraction for us was the beach. The only negative was the bed was high off the ground and not easy to get into and could have been more comfortable.

Great place. Amazing view!!

My wife and I loved this condo, especially the ocean views from both the den and the bedroom. The complex was in a great location on the island, was close to a number of great restaurants, had a great pool and getting to the ocean took no time at all. Our property manager was great to work with and made everything very easy. There were even well placed notes in the condo that seemed to answer every question that popped into mind while we were there. The only slight problem we had was that the elevator went on the fritz a couple of times, but it seemed to get fixed very quickly each time. One suggestion (not criticism) is that the bathroom probably needs an upgrade/remodel fairly soon. Overall though this was just a wonderful place to spend a week.

Disappointed

First of all, Beautiful view. Condo very dirty, had to clean out the refrigerator, old food dried stuck on and in freezer, used juice bottles, etc, grease all over stove top, microwave was disgusting with dried stuck on food, countertops, dirty with food crumbs. The bathroom needs to be totally redone, but the commode was filthy, had to vacum the hair up before I got on my hands and knees to scrub the commode. I do not appreciate having to clean up after the previous guest before we could even unpack! The washer only works with the hot water only, the TV in the living room loses its volume on the channel you are watching after about 2 hours, the dishwasher and garbage disposal didn't work, finally figured out the breaker was off. I don't think the garbage disposal is really working? The bathroom sink stopped up, we found some Draino or something to unstop it. The condo is old, needs a total remodel, cracked floor tiles, mismatched old outdoor looking carpet, old formica countertops, with chipped paint wooden trim. My only regret is that I didn't take pics to post. But, at least the next guest will find it much cleaner than we did. We will not be back. We have stayed in 2 other Condo's in this complex and this one was the most disappointing.

We are a retired engineer and retired librarian and live very close to the condo. We enjoy keeping the condo in great shape for our family and guests. Our children and their families stay here often.

This condo is in a well-maintained complex on the quiet tree-shaded end of the island. On the back side of the complex is a hike and bike trail, and on the other side is the ocean with a sandy beach.
