Outstanding location

This unit had wonderful view of the sea. We attended the Amelia Island Concourse d 'Elegance and it was a 10 minute walk to the Ritz-Carlton. The unit was well equipped and very comfortable. Overall - highly recommended.

Beautiful view

This is a lovely condo with a perfect view of the ocean. We wanted a quiet neighborhood and a week of rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we got. It was a short driving time to get to town where we could find great restaurants, musical Playhouse, etc.

Great Views

Pictures are accurate. Great views and great location. We were close enough to other things on the island outside of the beach and pool. If you’re looking for a quiet laid back vacation, I would rate this at the top. The check-in process was flawless and the host was very responsive. Full kitchen with all the usual appliances available. 5 Star unit, location, amenities, service and vacation. Would definitely rent again.

Weekend stay

The condo is great and exactly as advertised! It was in excellent condition and spotless! My wife and I were only able to stay for 3 nights but we will definitely be back for a week long stay in the future. Gordon responds almost immediately to any questions and is an excellent host. Our first stay in Amelia Island was awesome!

Great stay!

We had wonderful stay at this beautiful unit. It is very clean and was perfect for our family of 4. The owner was great to work with and the communication was excellent. This was our second time staying there. We really like how close it is to beach and the pool.

First family beach trip!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo had everything we needed with open space for our 13 month old to roam. We would love to stay here again if we return!

Absolutely beautiful

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable and included everything for a great stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. Being right on the beach was wonderful. The communication with the owner was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Great location, easy stay!

I only originally had difficulty getting in the property gates, but I’m certain the host had written me instructions I had just glanced over them. The property is in an excellent location with fantastic views of the beach. My only complaint would be that the furniture needs to be updated, the bed was not very good and the pull out sofa mattress was not comfortable at all. Overall the property is a great pick for anyone wanting to visit the island.

4th of July Get Away

The location of the villa overlooked the pool with a view of the beach. This was our first experience of viewing the fireworks on the beach. Wonderful experience. It was a very relaxing family atmosphere.

Lovely Getaway

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this property just before the July 4th holiday. We appreciated the closeness to the beach, the great view of the ocean, the cleanliness of the condo and how easy it was to check in. Gordon was a responsive host and we plan to return.

Wow...and wow (2nd visit to Amelia)

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of renting this beautiful home. We were in town from Savannah( moved from Atlanta 3 years ago) , celebrating 10 years that we've been together! What an AMAZING time we had enjoying Gordon's place! He is SUPER FAST WITH RESPONSES AND AN AWESOME COMMUNICATOR! This was our second time visiting Amelia. It's set in stone now, definitely doing elopement in Amelia Island 🏝️. How can you not?! The best part of our stay was waking up to that BREATHTAKING view of the ocean 🌊! I mean sitting at the table eating breakfast and the ocean is your LIVE TV. The pool was also amazing, we ended up there for a minute while the red double flags were up due to the currents and all. It's so cool you can see the condo from the pool!! It's basically sitting right in front of you! Gordon has a gem here that is for sure. Hearing the waves crash is always my favorite and the sound is crystal clear from the balcony, OMG!! I can never get enough of Beach therapy!! We loved staying here so much I messaged Gordon to see if he had anyone checking in the next day. Unfortunately he did but that's just means we'll have to come back to this condo specifically and stay LONGER!! Gordon from the bottom of my heart, we thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us!! You were so kind and courteous, which is very rare in this world today. Would rent this place again in a heartbeat!! 🗣️🗣️See you again soon, C108!!🏝️🏝️🏝️ Until next time!🌊

A Piece of Heaven

We stayed at the condo for a convention at The Ritz. It was perfect! The condo was very nicely appointed and comfortable. Due to the weather, we took advantage of the puzzles there and played some cards! The bed was comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. Loved the patio to warch the waves and the large window in the living room had a picturesque view! It was a mn excellent choice and we would stay again!

We live right off the island and have always loved being here! In our free time we like to spend our days either on the beach / at the pool or on the boat....anywhere near the water. We take pride in our ownership of our villa and hope that you will enjoy your time with us.

Surf & Racquet is perfectly situated on the south end of Amelia Island- just down from the Ritz-Carlton and north of the Amelia Island Plantation- and it remains a "secret spot" among those in the know. Our busiest times of year are from March through mid August and the amount of people here during that time is a fraction as compared to places like Daytona, Jacksonville Beaches and especially Hilton Head (we've spent a lot of time in these areas). To the south of the island, you will find the undeveloped Talbot Island (award-winning state parks) and to the north, you will find Historic Fernandina, birthplace of the modern shrimping industry and past playground of families such as the Vanderbilts, du Ponts, and even Edward Teach (Captain Blackbeard).
