Enjoy all that Durango has to offer from this conveniently located in-town condo. Visit Durango's historic main street with a short 5-minute drive or access world class mountain biking trails right out the back door. The condo complex offers amenities for all seasons. Cool off in the pool after exploring the San Juan mountains, or relax in the hot tub after a long day skiing at Purgatory.

No matter your adventure, end the day relaxing by the fire in your cozy living room.

This updated condo has accommodations for 6 and provides a spacious living room with comfortable seating and a large dining room table perfect for playing games or hosting friends and family. The cozy living room also has a wood burning stove. The fully stocked kitchen comes with complementary coffee, and opens up to the dining and living room creating an inviting space. **This is a first level unit, however there are one set of stairs required to access the unit.**

This condo also provides:

- 1 comfortable king bed
- a loft with 1 full size bed
- a queen pull out couch
- 1 full bathroom
- washer/dryer
- high speed wifi
- deck w/ outdoor seating

During your stay you'll also have access to the shared pool and hot tub, and sauna located at the clubhouse and a short walk from the unit. The hot tub and sauna are open year round, while the pool is open seasonally from May-September.

The condo complex backs up to Power Line trail which connects to Raiders Ridge and the Horse Gulch trail system, a world class mountain biking system. There is also a huge soccer field and park directly across the street, as well as tennis courts and a golf course (Hillcrest Golf Club). There are several more trails, as well as a disc golf course that weave through and around the Fort Lewis college campus, all within walking distance of the complex. There's also a local bus stop in front of the property for easy access back and forth to downtown.

The property was great. All amenities were great. The hot tub was not heating while we were here, but aside from that we have no complaints and enjoyed our stay.

This cozy nook worked out great. It was very clean and comfortable. Good location and Ross was great at communicating with me. I would recommend this place if you’re staying in Durango.

Nature’s Nook is decorated with a fun ski theme. The kitchen appliances worked and the kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom was clean. It is an apartment near the bluff above town near the college campus, which is close to town but not in town. The pool and hot tub are shared by the complex, but the hot tub wasn’t working and the pool is not heated, so check before you plan on that. It’s a nice place to relax in.

Thanks for your review, Stephanie! The hot tub occasionally does goes down, but for never more than a day or two. We do apologize it was down during your visit. We also want to note that the pool is heated to roughly 80 degrees, however it can still feel cold. We're glad you enjoyed the unit and your time in Durango!

Maybe we aren't the best to judge hot tub, kitchen, etc, as we basically just showered, slept, etc there. But the bed was great, the shower was great, and the place totally fit our needs for the long weekend. And proximity to Main Ave, without actually staying on Main Ave, was perfect

We elk hunt in Colorado every November, and this condo was the perfect spot to stop and stay on our way to our hunting location. Ross is an excellent host, and the condo had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We definitely recommend staying if you are visiting Durango!

The place was clean, it was a very easy check-in and check out, the hot tub was a small walk from the condo. We are a family of 6, so we were able to make it work even with 1 bathroom.

This VRBO host is definitely on the ball. We received absolutely perfect directions about every aspect of accessing and staying in the property. A tremendous amount of thought has gone into making this place a true home away from home, down to the littlest of details. The layout is interesting and the decor very nice. A all the way!If we ever find ourselves in Durango again in the future, this would, without question, be our first choice of where to stay. Thanks so much for making such a great place available to us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Nature’s Nook! We were staying in Durango and skiing in Purgatory for the week. It was an easy drive to Purgatory, and we enjoyed coming back to Main St. in Durango in the evenings! We also cooked a few meals in the condo, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was great to have a king bed in the bedroom and a full bed in the loft - that was perfect for our family!
