The Starfish Beach house is a duplex that can be rented out together or separately. Both units are 2 bedroom / 2 bath rentals. There is a maximum of 5 guests that can stay in this Unit #2. For larger groups up to 7 guests, check out The Starfish Beach House Unit #1 on VRBO. We are located across the street from beach access and are close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We are a registered property with the City of South Padre Island - Permit #2016-574591

Esta muy bien, se encuentra en buena ubicación, muy agradable la casa, me gusto, lo único que no había o no encontré fue una plancha, pero todo lo demás estuvo perfecto!!

Priced fairly. Great location across street from beach access. Can walk to so many eateries and stores. Easy check in and out. Very simple!Pet friendly w deposit. Would go back in a second.

Great place and plenty of room for a family of 3-4. Loved the easy access to the beach just right across the street. Place was really clean and well stocked. Will definitely stay here next time we come down.

Last stop

The wife and I were extending our stay after a long family vacation. We came across this last minute deal and the host was gracious, the property clean, and overall a great experience. Might come back and grab both of the duplex units. The only drawback was the upstairs folks were heavy footed and seemed like they were on the move most of the night. Had a hard time sleeping with the constant thumps from the upstairs. Not something the host can control so overall we enjoyed our evening and left early that morning. Loved how close we were to the beach and it was a lovely space. I definitely would do this one again.

Simply the best vacation rental on South Padre Island

This is our second year staying at Leslie's place. The location is perfect, you're about 100 feet from the door to the beach, across one usually quiet street. There are numerous great restaruants here, but just down the block is Blackbeards, which we ate at twice. There is a golf cart rental across the street from Blackbeard's, so that's a convenient walk if you need one. The place is spacious, the kitchen is stocked, and there are abundant toys/boogie boards/folding chairs for the beach if you don't bring your own. Leslie was kind enough to call and let us know about the SpaceX launch, which was an awesome experience - we just had to step outside onto the wrap-around porch to see it.Check-in and out were dead simple.On a more personal note, my wife was involved in a collision halfway through our stay, when an uninsured man in a truck plowed into her at a stoplight from behind. Leslie was simply outstanding, checking in on us, helping us work with Brownsville Toyota, and very graciously allowing us to extend our stay by a day to give Toyota time to try and make the car drivable. She made an extremely difficult time less difficult, and her kindness will never be forgotten. As long as we are in Texas, and headed for SPI, we will always stay with her rental.

Overall, a great experience. The location is perfect- cross the street and you're on sand. The rental has everything you need. Owner of rental is responsive and super friendly. I cant express how wonderful this place is and how much my family enjoyed their stay here.

Great Host

Excellent location, you just cross the street and walk to the beach! We had one issue with noisy neighbors into the middle of the night and the host was advised. I didn’t except a response because of how late it was, but I did and the issue was resolved quickly. Great communication!! The place is as advertised.

My cousin was coming to town for 2 nites and already booked a different condo for her family so my partner and myself and 1 additional friend stayed at the starfish . Our 2nd time staying in this unit. Very satisfied and perfect for our needs

Fantastic location

Family and I had a wonderful time, we were literally 30 seconds from the beach walking. Property was exactly as described, well stocked kitchen, and super clean.

Beach house

Except for the people in the other unit whose kids were running and jumping in the upstairs unit until after midnight every night, the stay was enjoyable. Glad we dont live in an apartment.
