Good place
Nice enough place, sleeps a ton of people and walkable to most of the entertainment / nightlife in Lake Placid. Only negaive I can think of is the steep stairs with small steps, but to be expected for the building's age.

Pleasant stay at Lake Placid
Easiest self check-in. The house is very well located. Just outside the main shopping strech of the town. Easy to both walk to the restaurants and shops and to drive to the mountain without hitting the town traffic. It's across the Olimpic rink oval and two minutes by foot from the bowling alley. The management is exteremly responsive - it took them 10 minutes to get back to us by email to a request we made at 11pm on a Sunday night. The snow on the driveway and the porch was shoveled by the staff without us even asking. Very good experience staying at Lake Placid. Thank you!
