This is a good place to stay - with a lovely view. It was marred by small things - such as the apparent rationing of toilet paper and garbage bags. The major problem for me was that the beds were very uncomfortable - new mattresses would be in order. The swimming pool and hot tub were closed (but we were not told in advance about this.

-Check-in process: Typical of VRBO and relatively seamless. -Location and View: Great location and nice view of the East Grand Traverse Bay.-Host: Good communication and delivered information on time. -Condo Condition: The amount of square footage was adequate and felt comfortable. Two baths and two bedrooms fro two people is great. The Condo was built some time ago and the paint on the walls shows it, really needs a refresh. In the second bedroom bath, the toilet was treated with a bowl cleaner (blue water) but also there were solids remaining in the bowel as if someone had not flushed after doing there business. In the master bedroom bath, had to tighten the toilet seat bolts so the seat did not slide around in order to be able to use the toilet. The shower in places shown mold, so overall cleanliness is questionable. To add: the windows have internal screens, between the screens and glass are remains of dozens of dead flys, gnats, spiders, moths, etc.-Appliances: All in working order, though the coffee pot required cleaning as the filter and grounds were left in it. The television did not tune any local channels nor did it prompt for the internet or other subscription services like Netflix. The gas Fireplace was non-functional.-Consumables: Stingy amounts of paper products. -Check-Out: Was simple, however was not expecting to do a load of towels before checking out at 10:00 AM. -Overall: For the money expected more upscale than found- 3 stars.

The property was in an excellent location. A few things I wanna bring to your attention is the knob in the dryer was broken. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. Bummer that we couldn’t use the pool one day. It was green. Thank you.
