Welcome to this seasonal, summer cottage located in the picturesque Great Hammock community of Old Saybrook, CT. This charming, immaculately maintained, home offers direct waterfront views from most rooms, allowing you to enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets over the water every day. Just 50 feet from your private association beach, this property is perfect for those who love to relax by the water. Featuring 3 bedrooms; primary bedroom with Queen size bed, 2nd bedroom with twin bed. (sunporch also includes 2 twin beds). There is a half bath indoors and an enclosed outdoor shower off the deck. This cozy retreat is the ideal place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 2 car parking.

What a great charming cottage located in the perfect spot to enjoy Harvey’s Beach. We had endless low tide walks, and great meals on the deck with beautiful views. Hopefully we can make it back next summer!

This was a beautiful rental! It’s cozy, clean, and a few steps from a walk on the beach. The location was perfect. Our hosts were wonderful to work with and so accommodating? We will definitely be back.

Our second year at the cottage and another amazing week. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and John checked in to make sure we didn't need anything. The location is perfect especially with a 7 year old granddaughter. The day we left my granddaughter asked....."grandpa, can we stay two weeks next year". Of I had to say yes!Ron G.

Great location, very clean and well represented in the listing. The AC was very welcome as we had 95 degree heat for 3 days. Joe & Laura communicated each step in the process. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Wonderful stay could not have asked for a better experience overall. We hope to return next summer for sure. The stay my family and I had was just splendid. The cottage has a beach rustic feel with gorgeous views, comfortable beds, simple living with added amenities if wanted or needed. The beach was a dream to walk out to. It has such soft sand, was so clean. The tide pools nestled between the sand bars that came with low tide along with the calm sea waters were just perfect our 20 mo old son. We had a lovely time and thank you both so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay at your little slice of heaven.

More than expected

This beautiful cottage did not disappoint! The location and neighborhood were beyond our expectations with the beach view, sand bars, and nice neighbors being some of our favorite things. We our hoping to stay in the same property next summer because once we arrived we hated to leave.As a side the note the responsiveness of the owners was amazing. Not only did they respond quickly with each of our questions but they were kind enough to bring us by some beach chairs the same afternoon we asked for them once we realized we could lounge on the sandbar each day at low tide. It made our last night on Great Hammack Beach just perfect.

Location was perfect....across the street from a small neighborhood beach with lots of walking at low tide. The outside shower was wonderful! Lori and Joe were exceptional hosts. Would recommend a stay to anyone.

We live here in Old Saybrook and enjoy everything Old Saybrook has to offer. Great beaches, incredible sunrises over the creek and sunsets over the ocean, The Kate (we don't think there is a better place to catch a show!), a quaint and fun downtown and close proximity to other great sites on the CT shore,

This is a great neighborhood for families. The streets are great for casual bike riding and there are expansive sandbars at low tide for a variety of beach activities, including sand games, walks and exploration in the tide pools. Our family has been in this neighborhood for over 30 years and it is a true refuge for us.

Our property is a true, cozy cottage. It was built in the 1940's and we are only the second family to own it. It holds a lot of love and memories that we know those who stay will add to.
