This is a Lovely home in a very nice location. We hosted a small family reunion here and it worked well for our group of 14 adults. The home needs some minor maintenance and repairs but we have come to expect that. The kitchen was well equipped & the host was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

the place was great - very clean - Host was great- but having to wash & dry towels before we can leave or a200 fine is crap - we were in a hurry and we ended up 1.5 hrs late in leaving -

House was extremely nice. It had everything you could imagine to accommodate our needs. Host was nice and very helpful everytime we had a question. Cannot recommend enough. Place is huge and perfect for hosting huge groups.

Fireplace was functional and wood was provided. Nice big kitchen with lots of tools for cooking. Many open family areas to allow everyone to spread out. Large tables to accommodate our large group. Would definitely stay again.

This house was perfect for our family vacation, close to skiing and Deadwood. There was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone and a playroom for the kids. Would definitely recommend for a big group!

Was very accommodating for or family. We cooked all our meals , had everything we needed. It could have been a bit cleaner but we had a great time.

There was very little toilet paper we had to go get some. There was three bed with no mattress pads on the beds and one bed had blood on mattress and another had dead flies and one has water bottle between mattress we left it. Lots of light bulbs out. The ovens are very dirty and still are I didn't clean them. And is the room off the upper big bed room is the bed stuff clean or dirty? And we we're short towels but found some in dry that where still wet so we rewashed them and use them. I'm thinking and I guess must of this is the cleaners problem!! I would like to share some photos if the owners would like to see them but will not put on this site. It is a very nice place but needs better house keepers. And yes we would stay here again.

I put two extra large rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. This is a total of 12 rolls of toilet paper. I haven’t had a complaint about this until now. I will get more mattress pads. Someone took them. I will look for flies on the mattress. The room off the master is the closet for extra sheets. Yes they are clean. I ask guest to wash and dry the towels before they leave as there are over 60 towels. I don’t expect guest to fold them. I’m sorry this was an inconvenience for you. I am the owner and clean it as well. I try to make it a good experience for all my guest.

Great place to stay with a large group

We enjoyed this cabin for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Enough rooms for our big family and all the amenities you need surrounded by the beautiful Black Hills.

Very spacious and beautiful house. Everyone in our group had their own room. Hot tub was nice. The bigger tables on main level and downstairs were nice for everyone to play games. It was a very enjoyable stay and would book again in the future.

Perfect Family Getaway in the Black Hills

This cabin was the perfect spot for our family to stay together while exploring the Black Hills. Cozy, clean, and well-stocked—everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable trip. We loved the peaceful setting and easy access to all the local sights like Deadwood. Highly recommend!

Family get together

We liked the rental and location. Was room for everyone so good for a larger group. It was an easy place to stage day trips to Rushmore, Spearfish, Crazy Horse or anywhere in the hills.

Staycation/Vacation Destination

A scenic and peaceful location with a spacious cabin—perfect for a family staycation, or the seasonal visitors needing the a quiet space to return to after a day in the Hills . The cabin had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend with friends and family. Whether you stay in and enjoy the cozy space or take short day trips into Lead and Deadwood, it's a great getaway. Our family was so happy with our stay!
