Anchorage Aweigh is an exquisite two-bedroom villa perched above Coral Bay Harbor, offering sweeping views of the turquoise waters below. Thoughtfully designed for relaxation and privacy, the villa features a centrally located pool and expansive pool deck—perfect for soaking up the Caribbean sun while enjoying panoramic harbor views.

The main living area opens to the pool deck, with interior stairs leading down to the lower-level bedroom. Air conditioning is provided in both bedrooms for comfortable nights after warm island days. A/C is in the bedrooms only

Adjacent to the main villa—but completely separate—is a one-bedroom cottage where the owners stay only a few weeks out of the year. Both homes were intentionally designed to face different directions, ensuring privacy for all guests.

Every thing was great! We loved the quiet side of coral bay. The house had all we needed. Host was quick responsive with questions. Great instructions on finding the place. Clean and comfortable.

Beautiful views in our favorite place

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was comfortable and spacious, the views were amazing and overall it was a quiet place.

Host was great in communication, house was clean and nice. The only complaint would be to add a sign or something because it was really hard to find the house the night we checked in because it was dark. After that all was great. Good location amazing views and loved the wildlife. It was interesting with the outside showers but was a cool experience!

Great Coral Bay location

Great spot to hit all the best beaches and to enjoy the more quiet side of the island. Plenty of restaurant choices. Loved the Surf Club cantina.

Great place to stay!

Ancorage Away has been the best place we have stayed while visiting STJ. The pool was fabulous to have in August, we would come home after a morning of snorkeling and exploring to cool off and relax. Slept so well, the beds were very comfortable and air conditioning kept us cool.

We loved staying here!!! It was absolutely beautiful, had everything we needed, and was very clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked. We will definitely be back.

The perfect villa! An amazing 180 view of beautiful Coral bay for morning breakfast! Stocked high end kitchen with everything you need. The bed slept wonderfully with an AC that cooled everything down perfectly. Easy access to shops and great places to eat like the shrimp at Surf Club and ribeye sandwich and trivia at Johnny Lime. And a top notch host that quickly responded to all of our needs! We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Our 2nd visit of St John

House was perfect for 4 people. Great views from the patio. Host was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. Will stay again.Make sure you rented a real 4x4 to get to the property.

Anchorage Aweigh awesome stay.

This is an unbelievably beautiful property with million dollar views, a pool, and some of the worlds most beautiful beaches nearby. Overlooking Coral Bay with some really fun places to eat and food shopping. Our host David was fantastic and friendly and the property manager Kara was so nice and very helpful.

Excellent Stay - Wonderful Time!!

We had a great stay! The property was exactly as described; the communication was excellent!! Patricia was extremely attentive! Highly recommend A++++! Renting a Jeep is a must though.

Perfect for our group of four

A wonderful experience that facilitated a delightful time on our favorite island. Very good accessibility to beaches and snorkeling. A unique driveway that facilitates a great experience.

Fantastic views, clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay in April 2018. The villa is well laid out with impressive views of Coral Bay harbor. The owners were very responsive to all communications. We would not hesitate to rent again on a future visit.

Best vacation ever!

We loved everything about this property! The Coral Bay location is the best! Close to NP and just 20 minutes to the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay. Morning coffee on Veranda was awesome - peaceful and beautiful. Will definitely items stay here next time!

Can't wait to go back!

The house was exactly as described, clean with amazing views and in a perfect location. We were close to restaurants and grocery but yet it was a super private location. Kara, the property manager was fantastic as well. We are definitely coming back to St John and when we do we will be staying here again.

Perfect vacation

Strenuous ride up but so worth it. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bed, wonderful view and screened porch. The view from the deck was breathtaking. Hoping to return next year. Most relaxing vacation ever
