Experience the island charm of Sunset Beach in this newly remodeled beach cottage --JUST ADD WATER. This 2nd row home was completely updated in 2013 with all modern amenities, but it still retains its bungalow feel.

Inside you will find a bright, cheery and comfortable atmosphere - perfect for unwinding at the beach! The whole house was remodeled including a new kitchen. It is conveniently located across from a handicap beach access.

After a day of sun and fun, wash off your sandy feet in the spacious outdoor shower---with hot & cold running water. Enjoy a family dinner or a cold drink while watching the sunset from One of our 3 OUTDOOR spaces: Ocean-facing screened-in porch (with rocking chairs and chaise lounges), OR large outdoor back deck OR upstairs Widow's walk.

This home is dog friendly - so bring your best friend! Pet gates have been installed at each deck entrance.

Please note our house amenities include WiFi; Cable TV; DVDs and Stereo with CD Player. Also included for use during your stay are beach cart, beach chairs and a cooler.

Beach Getaway

Great cottage to stay in....and very close to beach access. Enjoyed the hospitality and oversight by owner to ensure the accommodations were great etc... owner easy to work with! Will stay again!

Great time at the beach

The house is exactly as advertised. It's in a perfect location - just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house is clean, well organized and it has everything you need and more. The host is friendly and very responsive.

Perfect Vacation

We loved this property!! It was close to the beach, well stocked kitchen, had all the necessities and extras you might need - extra beach chairs, beach toys, coolers, umbrella, beach bags, etc. Will definitely be back to stay again.

Great location with cottage style charm!

“Just Add Water” was a great little getaway bungalow with easy access to the beach! This home has been updated with trendy beach charm and has all the amenities needed.

Loved the location

The cottage style beach house was super comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and all of the extra beach supplies such as chairs and umbrellas that we didn't have to worry about packing.

Our beach home away from home

Our family has stayed at 'Just Add Water' for the last few years. It's a homey, well equipped cottage on the beach that is comfortable and welcoming. We love it and will be back!

A little slice of heaven

Loved the house directly across from the beach with a walk way out to the beach. House had everything we needed. Enjoyed the screen porch and reading in the swing. Highly recommend.

Summer Vacation

Great for family and pets

This house was perfect for our vacation with 3 kids and 2 small dogs. The house was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. The location was great with easy access to the beach and the owner was very friendly and made everything easy for us. Looking forward to staying here again.

Wonderful beach escape!

Perfect for our family. It was a fantastic location with unexpected extras that we have not experienced in our past beach rental homes.Jan was gracious and a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommended! Best outdoor shower ever!!

Great Family Friendly Cottage

We spent a week in Sunset Beach at Just Add Water and had a great time. The cottage was perfect for our family, including the four-legged members. Easy access to the beach, super responsive owner, great condition, and great community. We will definitely be back to make more family memories. Let's Go Mountaineers!

The Perfect Place

Beautifully decorated cottage in an excellent location. The owner thought of everything you would want or need. Been visiting Sunset for 25 years and this was the best rental we have ever had. Our two corgis, Boomer and Henry, loved the porches. Hope we will be able to return soon!

Great family vacation!

We loved this house and the owner! She was so friendly and accommodating. Everything you could need was in the house. We had fun with beach toys and games inside and outside. Our doggy loved it as well. It was a perfect location and we felt right at home. Will definitely book with her again!!

Perfect beach house in a perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay in Just Add Water!! Jan has really thought of everything we could need and more! The rooms were comfortable, the many decks and screened porch got a lot of use and the outdoor shower was a favorite for everyone in our family. The location of the house makes trips back and forth to the beach very easy. I could go on and on! We will definitely be back!

Perfect

Our family stayed at sunset beach this year for our annual trip to sunset beach. We stayed at this sweet beach cottage and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! The house was so sweet, very clean, and the perfect size for a family of 5! It’s close to everything which makes it that much better! Jan was the best host and made sure we had everything we needed and then some! You will not regret a trip to sunset beach or a stay at this house!

What a wonderful stay!

When we arrived we were greeted by Jan and showed the property. A phenomenal stay for 5, we enjoyed every area of the property and found the accommodations just perfect. 4 total outdoor areas including crows nest and table in the carport area gave everyone room to move and have space. Our little dog enjoyed the deck areas and we were at ease with lockable gates at all access points. We were very pleased with this cottage but just wished we had used the outdoor grill for dinners. Maybe next time… and there definitely will be a next time. Can’t wait to return.

Very quaint, clean and well maintained!!!!

Just Add Water was a great selection! It is very close to the pier and child and dog friendly! We immediately felt at home when we walked in the house. I would definitely recommend to others. We were very pleased to have access to children's beach toys and beach chairs! Thank you for greeting us with a basket of goodies and a note! That was very special! We hope to come back next year! We would definitely recommend this property to others without hesitation!

Perfect winter escape!

We were thriller with the location, cleanliness, amenities and overall feel of Just Add Water. Our 2 dogs loved the outside decking that allowed them to roam top to bottom, safely. The beds were excellent. The kitchen is full of useful cookware and gadgets. Everything works as it should and the cable and WiFi were bonuses. Although the weather was frightful in February with ice storms, we were cozy and warm and thoroughly enjoyed our winter get away. Hope to come back next winter.
