Your Lamoine adventure begins at this 3-bedroom house. With 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed, this gorgeous property offers a cozy retreat for guests. Enjoy the luxury of 2 bathrooms equipped with a bathtub, shower, jetted bathtub, and hair dryer. Experience the magic of Lamoine at our welcoming house.
Please note we allow one family unit or a maximum of two couples.

Great place to relax with friends.Suggestions would be more bed pillows unless we just could not find them.The book provided helped although more suggestions of things to do in the area. We managed fine with the Internet and local travel books and enjoyed everything we did.

We’ve stayed in the area 7 times and this was one of our favorite places! Not only is the house clean and beautiful, but it’s an easy drive to Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, and less than an hour from Bangor airport. The property is so gorgeous and peaceful with stunning views, breathtaking sunsets, and deer every morning! We can’t wait to stay here again! Carl made check in and check out extremely easy and gave us all the info we needed. The house info book on arrival is so informative with instructions for house amenities clearly explained. You won’t regret booking this place!! Excellent!!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property! The home is in a great location not far from Ellsworth. We drove to the Gateway Center in Trenton to take the Island Explorer into Acadia.One of our favorite parts of the property was the beautiful view of the river and of the many deer that visited daily. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Acadia area!

Very good location for daily excursions in Acadia. Very good lay-out for 3 adults (one couple, one single dad) and 2 kids (4 and 8). Accommodating host. Wildlife visible throughout the day. Working shell fish fleet trolling in high tides. Regional airport across the Jordan River brought some aircraft noise. Interior spaces were clean but not spotless. Guests should bring kitchen supplies - - everything from dish towels to spices. French doors to deck are secure but out of alignment.Overall, a good experience with good management. Would recommend it to friends.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Carl was very accommodating and even provided us with a pack-n-play and highchair for our kids! The place was very clean, climate control was great, and the view was beautiful. We were only 20-30min from Acadia which wasn’t bad, and we were able to stop by all of the good coffee and food places Ellsworth has to offer! We would absolutely come to stay here again!And if you aren’t early risers, prepare for the house to be bright as mid-day by 6am. The blinds didn’t really block the early sunlight that comes with being so far east in Maine.

I had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, and the home offered a peaceful atmosphere with stunning views of the nearby river and surrounding mountains on Mount Desert Island. The location was perfect, quiet and relaxing for a nice getaway and fairly close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, great scenery, and a friendly host!

Quiet place with a fabulous view away from traffic. Stayed here during our visit to Acadia National Park (approx. 30 minute drive). The small binder with instructions for wi-fi, climate control, area restaurants and attractions, etc., was very helpful in settling in for a few days. Kitchen was well stocked with bowls, utensils, bakeware, etc., that made cooking easy. The deck looked new with comfortable chairs to take in the amazing view. There was also a grill that we didn't have time to use. The loft is an enormous master bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Two bedrooms and another bathroom are on the main floor. We felt the beds were a little firm, but that is just personal preference and nothing that would keep us from staying here again. Bathrooms were clean and the towels soft. Plentiful hangers in the closets. Communication with the host was timely and hassle-free. Check-in instructions were very straight forward. We were a family of four adults so our needs were pretty minimal. Oh, and there are deer everywhere!

Amazing place! We love the views and the cleanliness. The place is well cared for and charming. Everything works as it should. We did laundry and dry out clothes. We used the fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for families or anyone looking for a place peaceful, quiet and bucolic.

When we first arrived it was dark and there were deer in the yard, we saw deer every day! It was so nice to see the wildlife. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house to as it was a short trip and our days were spent in Acadia and exploring. It was unfortunate we didn’t have more time to just relax at the house for a day or two because it was so quiet, relaxing and the lake view was beautiful!

Great stay near Acadia. Beautiful location and our family was able to spread out. We loved watching the tides change and the great water views.
