The property is a little outdated, but it's part of the charm... very vintage and cute character. The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars, in my opinion, is that (1) no A/C, so it got pretty stuffy by late afternoon/evening, but I understand it's not unusual for houses here to have no A/C. That being said, there were lots of fans, that we absolutely took advantage of! (2) We rented both units, and it would have been really nice to have the option of opening the door that joins the two units. (3) The kitchen was small and felt very cramped and stuffy, as it was in the middle of the house, low ceiling, etc. Just part of the old house design, I know, but for a group that cooked a lot, it was a little uncomfortable. HOWEVER they had a grill and all the things you could need for cooking and serving. The layouts a little funky, and we had 13 people, so we definitely filled every nook and cranny, but it worked! My "complaints" are absolutely picky, but for me, 5 stars means you would change nothing. We had a great time, overall really enjoyed the place. We LOVED the balcony off the master suite- most popular spot in the house! You can't beat the location, the unobstructed view of the marina right across the street was a favorite. Quick walk to the beach. We would totally stay here again.
