Overall great place with a great view. The condo is just a little older with bathrooms that are outdated.

The condo is accurately represented in our photos and we always want guests to arrive with the right expectations. We had a wonderful stay at this condo! I was a bit nervous staying here after reading the review that was left before mine about the issues they had, but I messaged the Beach Stays team and they had the main issues resolved. It had some minor damages like the previous review said about the paint in the bathrooms but it was no issue for us. That kind of wear and tear is to be expected in high volume stay properties. The hair dryer holder in the master bedroom was broken but you can still use it. It just fell off the wall a couple of times. Minor in my opinion. When we arrived, check in was easy. The unit was clean and beautifully decorated. They have board games and books for rainy days. The location was perfect— right on the beach (great views), next to a lot of great restaurants, and local attractions. It was nice having the option of 3 pools with the tiki bar and cafe onsite. Great drinks and food! The large pretzel with beer cheese and pizza was perfect for a quick lunch option without leaving the property. The kitchen had 2 normal coffee makers and a nepresso machine, but no kuerig. Other than that it was well stocked with everything you would need. The owners were friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless from booking through checkout. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book this condo again on our next trip to Destin. Highly recommend!

The property is needing some serious repairs. The light was falling off the wall, the ceiling is coming off in the bathroom, the walls have been patched and not painted. We moved the cough and it was filthy. There were zero blankets, just some paper thin quilts on the bed. The hairdryers didn’t work, neither did half the plugs in the unit. The shower didn’t drain so you shower ankles deep in your own filth.

This place was nicer on line than in person. When you book through Vrbo instead of Pelican Resort you have to contact your host for anything you might need, like toilet paper or coffee filters instead of just going to the front desk. So come prepared. The beach chairs are extra and must be reserved way in advance. If you want to get near the ocean either reserve ahead of time or bring your own chairs set up way behind the reserved area and wade through the crowd. This is a hot spot for families and is extra crowed all the time. Which is great if you love a crowd. The room had a beautiful view, but the noise from everything outside drowns out the sound of the ocean. Overall I was under impressed.

We really loved this condo! Photos on website are exactly like when you're there. Besides the gorgeous view, easy access to nice pools and the beach, we loved the decor of the condo. The L-couch and huge TV made this place feel extra comfy. Kitchen is so well stocked, there is an air fryer, two coffee makes, crockpot, literally everything you can think of. Condo was stocked with plenty of laundry/dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, paper towels to last us for the 5 night stay. There was also coffee/filters to use for the first morning, which I appreciated since we hadn't had a chance to visit the store yet. Beds were really comfortable too! You're really close to lots of stuff too; restaurants, shopping, state park, etc. We also liked this was an end unit, that had close access to the elevator and trash shute. Would stay again!
