Perfect location with most necessities right here in the house. We had a great time being right on the beach. Loved the view!!

A Great Week at Sea La Vie!

We couldn’t have asked for a better week at Sea La Vie! The location is convenient to the amenities of both Surf City and Sneads Ferry, yet the beach is far from crowded. Everything was as advertised and we would certainly stay here again.

Last minute get away

We enjoyed our stay. House was very cleaned. And check in was easy. We enjoyed the ocean front. Definitely we would stay here again.

Family vacation

The place met all needs and dreams. Coming from the midwest to the beach is a treat but the place was wonderful in every way. Plenty of space very comfortable and the proximity to the beach could not have been better. We will be back

Nice get away with family

The property was clean. Great location for hanging out on beach. Ample parking- we got 4 cars in without difficulty. Close to the street.

Family vaca

Not only was this our first family vacation in many years, but it was my niece's 1st birthday as well. The house blew our expectations out of the water. It was clean, well kept, and had our own private direct access to the beach. Amy was very easy to reach via text when needed and responded quickly. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and plan to come back next year!

Amazing vacation beach house!!!

The rental was pristine and had everything we needed to jumpstart our vacation week. The views from the balcony were amazing. Beach was clean and spacious even with the neighboring rentals. Amy was so accommodating and always readily available if we needed her. So close to everything (grocery, restaurants, shopping, ice cream). Can't wait to book again!

Great House

The location of this property is great. Beautiful views of the beach and surf. Wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Unfortunately, we probably will not vacation in the area again. The addition of $200.00+ a day for local fees is hard to swallow. This is in no way a reflection on the owner, but on local government, who's services do not rate these high fees.

Relaxing Time

Not a single issue. Got just what we expected. A week of beautiful sunrises, days filled with shark teeth hunting and spike ball on the beach, great local food, 10 minute trip to grocery and lulled to sleep every night by Ocean waves. Perfect in every way.

Great place very well equipped steps to beach

Great communication with owner. Place was clean and well stocked. Linens ok but a few extra towels would be appreciated. Not too far a drive to stores and icecream.

Topsail Treat

This place was fantastic! Well appointed, everything you could need, especially in the kitchen area. And, on top of it all, location, location, location. My wife and I especially enjoyed the top-floor balcony, where we could sit for hours and just enjoy the view! Thanks to the owner! We will return.

A terrific location

This was our second stay at 'Sea La Vie', and we enjoyed it even more than the first. This section of the beach has not been busy during both our stays, which has been a bonus. The location - right on the beach - is terrific, and we enjoyed the outdoor areas of the property. In fact, we ate every meal outside. We have also appreciated that the porch and balcony options included opportunities to get some shade. We found it to be a relaxing setting that really met our needs. The kitchen and main living areas are nice and well-appointed. The place has generally been clean. The owner, Amy, has been responsive to our questions... Overall, we had a great stay and we hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

2 great weeks at the beach

Three generations of us enjoyed our 2 weeks at the beach. The beach wasn't crowded and there was still plenty of room even at high tide. Finding shark's teeth turned out to be an unexpected activity for all ages. On our last morning we found that a sea turtle had come ashore and laid eggs in the dune at the house next door!

A Wonderful Beach house!

This beach house definitely lived up to it's photos on VRBO. We loved the beachfront location, the decks, and the inside was so comfortable! The house itself is well maintained and up to date. The kitchen was really nice and the house was supplied with all the tools we needed to make our meals. The furniture on both decks was sturdy and perfect for our needs. We loved sitting on the main/lower deck reading and listening to the ocean waves! And one day when the winds were high we laid out on the deck outside the master BR. The owners are very nice and responsive. We had a small issue with the outside water hose the day of our arrival and the owners came over that day to fix it for us! We were so excited to find such a great house that allows dogs. With pet friendly rentals you never know what you're going to get, but this house is in tip-top shape and you honestly couldn't see evidence of previous dogs anywhere! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to enjoy a beachfront getaway at Topsail!

Great place for us and the dogs!

We LOVED this townhome in Topsail. Amy was super responsive (we had some issues with the TV at first) and addressed any concerns we had very quickly. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the views were awesome. This was a perfect place for dogs ... the floors were great and easy to clean up (we have 2 dogs so I vaccuumed a couple of times to help with the hair and sand). We will definitely stay again, can't wait until our next beach trip!

Gorgeous view steps from the beach

This was our first visit to North Topsail Beach and it won't be our last. The home was beautiful! Had a large deck on the third floor, perfect for sunrise viewing, sunset happy hour, and calming ocean watching. It was only steps away from the beach, had a foot washing station, and a partially enclosed shower with hot and cold water. The guidebook provided by the hosts gave great recommendations for fresh seafood and restaurants. An absolute gem for a relaxing getaway.

Great location! Cute home!

Beautiful views and loved being right on the beach. House had good supplies, however stove was hard to regulate. Didn’t preheat well but if you used quick preheat, it seemed to overheat. Maybe we were just not using it properly. The grill also struggled to come to temperature. Other than making sure we gave ourselves plenty of preheating time for dinner, we had a great experience and enjoyed our entire visit.

'Crowded' is not part of our vocabulary on this part of North Topsail Beach. There is plenty of room for your family to spread out chairs and blankets, play corn hole, bocci ball or paddle ball, throw the football or frisbee and play your favorite beach tunes, without disturbing, or being disturbed, by others. Rest easy as the kids play in the surf, protected by a sand bar about 30-40 yards out, or in the tidal pools that may appear late in the day. Enjoy great surf fishing around the posts of a former pier north of the house or surf and boogie board the waves. All in all, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the long days of summer. And by summer, we mean May through October, at least!
