Excellent property, comfortable and fully stocked. Great walkable location for our family of 4 with the ability to lock up our mountain bikes for the week. We would stay here again.

Fantastic 2 BR Home, Minutes Walk to Downtown Bend

Lovely Bungalow

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 3rd time renting this lovely bungalow. It's short walk to Mirror Pond and then to the old town center. Lots of places to eat and shop. Newport Market up the street is not to be missed for things to eat or just nice gifts. Two negative comments: First, the blinds are impossible to manage. Leave instructions!!!! Second, the pillows are so hard it seems like they are made from blocks of wood. Man, two aggravating aspects of this rental

Cozy home a short walk from downtown

Looks recently remodeled, comfy king bed, good natural light and a very short walk to downtown and Drake park.

Everything was great - location, furnishings, amenities. It was lovely to hang out in the living room with cozy fire (albeit fake) on a snowy day. Would definitely rent again.

Adorable updated bungalow close to downtown Bend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don’t let the exterior fool you. The interior of this updated bungalow is picture perfect. Lots of windows, new kitchen (induction stovetop in case you’re cooking), and great lighting. Beds were comfy, towels luxurious. We walked to town and Drake Park, and it’s close to the highway to hop on and drive to nearby spots. Only minor complaint was the couch which , while large, was, for us, too low and soft.

Comfortable Stay!

Had a wonderful stay! Great location with a short walk to downtown. Local Coffee was waiting for us in the well appointed kitchen which was very welcome. The home is more spacious than the photos. Clean, comfortable, loved eating our breakfast on the nook table but also used the large round dining table. The beds and pillows are SO very comfortable. I gave it one less star for cleanliness because perhaps the fabric sofa and chair could use cleaning. However, I would stay again on my next visit. Good value for the price!

Amazing Choice In Bend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in the perfect spot - right across the bridge from downtown, close to the river, restaurants, and shopping of every kind. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable for 2 adult couples, felt spacious, we loved everything about it. One of our favorite rentals to date. Communication before our stay was great, but we didn't need anything while there so didn't communicate further. One broken chair in the backyard, but otherwise everything was updated and great, AC was appreciated. We had deer visit the yard each day.

A great place to stay for a Bend-area getaway.

This is our third stay here, and we plan on being back. The home is nicely apportioned (though stocking the aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and plastic bag drawer a bit more consistently would be appreciated!), very clean, and super functional. Walking to town and to nearby Newport Ave. restaurants is convenient and easy. Nearby Newport Market is fantastic.

This house was comfy and close to what we wanted to see in the area. The nearby Deschutes River Trail was beautiful. Due to rain, we didn’t get to use the backyard — but we liked rocking on the front porch during some showers!

Just perfect!

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and organized. We loved the lay-out, especially the little breakfast nook. Having everything on one floor is nice and the backyard was great when the grandkids came over. Would love to book again next time we travel to Bend!

Perfect Location!

This is our second time staying at the Newport Bungalow. Always cozy, warm and welcoming and the perfect location. Walking distance to downtown and all of our favorite places to eat! Clean and feels like home, we always check this listing when coming to town as it’s a favorite!

Comfortable and great location

This home is in a great location close to town. We walked most of the time into town for what we needed which was very convenient. Overall the home is very comfortable and well put together. We had a great time in Bend and enjoyed staying here.

Great Bend Property!

Super-cute, charming house in the heart of Bend. Walkable to downtown and to neighborhood establishments. Well appointed property with off-street parking and a private backyard. Would definitely stay again.

This house was very comfortable for our week stay in Bend. My husband and I both worked while we were there, and there were comfortable places for both of us to set up our laptops to work. We also enjoyed the front porch - it was nice to sit outside in the evenings. And the house is located between downtown, and Old Bend, a perfect location!! There is also great coffee shops within walking distance.

The perfect bungalow

My husband and I loved everything about the charming bungalow. It was clean, spacious and cozy. The location was everything - about 1/4 mile to downtown Bend and all the shops and restaurants. I'm looking forward to rebooking next fall.

Overall a pleasant stay

We spent three nights at those cute cottage. Overall, the place was comfortable and clean. Communications were quick and easy. It is exactly as pictured and described. The location couldn’t be beat - you can walk downtown, to the river or just up the street for food and groceries. It is also just off Newport which makes for easy access in and out of the area (it also created some street noise during the day but not so much it’s an issue). We also had a great time sitting on the porch when it rained and in the backyard when it was sunny. My only wishes, and this is a nitpick, was that there was some sort of foil or baggies available for food and instructions for how to use the convection stove as I had never used one. It was a bit of a learning curve. Overall would recommend.

Homey & Beautiful Bungalow - Prime Location

As a person who loves a well curated environment I was absolutely blown away by the attention to detail of this rental. The home is clearly decorated by a professional interior designer. From the colors to the couch, the space feels inviting and cozy and comfortable to guests away from home. We loved the touches of the complimentary coffee and toiletries as well as the washer and dryer. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing home in the best location - accessible to downtown- this is the spot for you! Perfect place to stay for two couples or a family getaway

Childhood home

Alpenglow provided an exceptional birthday experience. This was my first home in Oregon as a child. It was so surreal to be able to stay in my old bedroom again for my 33rd birthday. The remodel is beautiful as well. The helpfulness of the staff was above and beyond. Would 100% recommend to anyone.
