We had a lovely time. Had an opportunity to reset without the distraction of tv and other guests. The bungalow lived up to its online pictures and the landscape was lush and well kept.

Absolutely charming and beautiful place!! Lisa has everything that you need for a quiet getaway! Close to Kona but out of town. Beautiful property with chickens and the sound of coqui frogs at night! Would highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lisa’s cottage! The place was wonderful, comfortable, peaceful, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. You can tell that a lot of care and thought went into making this place special.Lisa was an amazing host, welcoming, thoughtful, and always helpful. She made us feel genuinely welcome and made our stay even more memorable. One unexpected highlight was trying her coffee, which we absolutely loved!This cottage was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time in Hawaii. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay here, and we would happily come back again. If you’re looking for a cozy, charming place to stay with a wonderful host, we highly recommend Lisa’s cottage. Lisa is a lovely human being. Her love for the island & this awesome property shine thru!We enjoyed our week in the cottage & eating from the many trees on the property. The large grassy area is a wonderful place to enjoy the sun set & see Kona & the ocean from above. It’s close to all the activities the island has but is such a quiet, low-key area away from the busier parts of town. Lisa was quick to respond to any needs we had. We loved seeing her coffee roasting business Kona Blue Sky & the learning about the process of roasting the green beans into delicious coffee.We would stay here again!Thanks Lisa for sharing your island knowledge & sharing your beautiful property w/us!Kris & Karen

Such an unforgettable Hawaiian experience to stay in this beautiful paradise, surrounded by chickens (and chicks!) and frogs. Incredible views and a charming space. Would absolutely stay here again.

amazing stay. Host was super helpful and friendly and the cottage had everything you could want from a fan, to coffee, to cooking supply’s to books. It had everything. Property was so calm and peaceful truly such a great stay. Need to book here.

Lisa was a fantastic host, told us all about the history of the coffee plantation and her family's history there. She explained and detailed the process of roasting and bagging coffee. She made an effort and a point to guide us to wonderful places to eat and go in the area. Gounds were beautifully landscape and manicured with tropical plants and Lisa pointed out a lot of them to us. Our accommodations we're very comfortable with tasteful art and the whole experience really felt like we were in a old Hawaiian home which is what we were after, very restful. Next time we're in the Kona area we will come back and stay with Lisa it was a great experience!

Such a charming cottage. We enjoyed our morning coffee (that Lisa roasted), joined by a sweet gecko sunning itself. We have fond memories of Holualoa.

We had the best stay there! The surroundings are so beautiful in pictures and picuresc: filled with blooming flowers, different types of fruit on the trees all around the largest state. It’s a place to get away from all the chaos of people to relax and just let your body catch up with your soul. I would recommend this place over and over and over! Lisa is just wonderful to work with. She is kind and thoughtful. Leave you alone but it’s very communicative to any needs.The room that we stayed in the Bungalow is small, but perfect! We mostly were outside in the deck area, enjoying coffee in the morning. The kitchen is spacious enough. I would only recommend maybe a small broom to have, but I did stay there longer than maybe most people I stayed 10 days.I would recommend this place highly for anybody who wants to get away and have quiet and enjoy peace in the mornings or afternoons or evenings. It’s just perfect and you can sit out and catch the sunset which is just beautiful.MahaloK.Graham

Great family vacation spot

We rented both the house and cottage for a family group of ten members. This was perfect - beautiful property, great views, helpful hostess, close to all our activities. Highly recommend!

Hawaii cottage

This cute cottage has the perfect location to enjoy the nearby beaches, shopping and enjoying the island. The property is beautiful and the chickens and frogs added a special touch to our stay. Thank you Lisa for being a perfect host. And your coffee is delicious!

A great place to stay

Very comfortable, loved the location, great to be a few degrees cooler than in town, enjoyed the sunsets from the garden. The restaurant in the village was great. Thanks Lisa and Emma and the chickens!!
