***Due to the ongoing issues with Mexico's water treatment pumps, the ocean is not guaranteed to be open at this time.. They do test the bacteria levels daily, but the majority of the year the Ocean has been closed from the Border, past Imperial Beach up to Coronado Beach. If swimming in the ocean is a major amenity I would not stay in these areas, until further notice.***

Beach Club

The beach club is a three story private, gated complex. The Beach Club is a U-shaped building that is located on the sand, no busy street or boardwalk separating you from the beach. It has its own heated pool, Jacuzzi hot tub, and barbecue facilities in the spacious garden atrium.

Unit #305 is a third floor unit that offers you a beautiful direct view of the water, park, pier, and picturesque islands. You'll relax to the soothing sound of the ocean waves. You'll have your own private, sunny ocean view balcony.

A wonderful place to rent, clean, easy access . Numerous eateries throughout the city. The lady at the office was so helpful in getting us settled into our unit. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Clean, great location. A/C was on the fritz. On at least a dozen occasions during our stay we had to turn the breaker off and back on to re-set it. Annoying to say the least, especially when you wake up sweating in the middle of the night.

This beach is absolutely beautiful! The condo is very clean, and the views are phenomenal. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, making it easy to grab a meal or coffee while enjoying the scenery. The location is excellent and convenient. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing beach where you can unwind and enjoy the ocean, this is definitely the place to be. Highly recommend!

We had our grandkids visiting from Chicago and they had not been to the beach before. We wanted this to be a special occasion since we don’t see them very often. So, we wanted the beach experience to be memorable. The views were amazing, the property was decorated with a focus on just that with paintings of the sea. The property was updated and felt contemporary. Amazing! We will be back.

The room is clean, roomy, and has a beautiful view of the beach including the pier. It’s nice to sit on the balcony or even inside and watch the beach activity. We were only staying two nights but it served our purpose. The one and only concern we had, and I understand it’s really nothing that the property owners have any control of, but it’s the condition of the surrounding area. Imperial Beach is not what you’d call the cleanest or safest in my opinion . We were not comfortable being outside after dark. There is a lot of homeless and youth activity that gets concerning after dark. Homeless people are camping right below the room on the beach and in the park. You can see them doing drugs like pot and paint huffing. The teens are also out real late playing music and drinking/partying. We also saw more than one couple at night being way too intimate for public areas! It’s also something worth noting that Imperial Beach water is regularly too contaminated from the Tijuana River for swimming. Make sure to check the daily report online for the water conditions. Other than those things, we loved the property itself and would stay again if in the area but I don’t anticipate needing to stay in the area again due to the listed issues in Imperial Beach. It’s sad that beautiful place is so contaminated and overrun by homelessness! Room is still an A!

First I want to say I actually booked this on accident and I’m not even sure how it happened.. screen went blue I never hit the book now button then all of a sudden I was getting confirmation emails and since I believe it would have o my been a partial refund I was stuck but with that being said…Check in was amazing and communicated with the host was awesome.. we had an issue with the AC and they were able to walk me through how to fix it. The condo was clean however there was mold in the washer and on the first shower door.. did not seem like it was cleaned by a professional cleaning company and if it is they should find someone else. Another con for me was that all the rules were not listed prior to booking and some of them would have caused me to walk away. One of the biggest cons would be not being able to have the AC under 70 and you can’t run it for more than 12 hours at a time. My family and I are not use to the heat so this actually made the trip miserable but they did have a ton of fans so that was helpful. Parking garage was very secure and I did feel safe even going down alone just keep in mind the parking spits are pretty tight so if you have a huge truck/van practice parking backwards. I didn’t mind not having spices like salt and pepper. There was dish soap and pods for the dishwasher as well as laundry detergent so that was much appreciated. The 2 rolls of TP in each bathroom lasted us the entire stay, we were there 4 nights. Take your own pillows!

Unit #305 was fine structurally. The views were as pictured in the listing, & the ocean sound was heavenly. The unit: •A/C did not work properly for the 1st 30 hours. (If it’s not working, contact them via the info in the key envelope ASAP. Have a pen & paper - the message will give a 2nd number to call.) No reply until the next morning & no fans in the unit, so sleeping & showering were pretty miserable. (Neither bathroom exhaust fan worked.) The tech came out, it was cooling, then stopped. The cool evening air outside wasn’t cooling inside. The a/c unit was finally working at bedtime the 2nd night, but by then we’d bought a fan and were prepared for it to go off again at any point. (There should be a standing oscillating fan now — we bought it.) •Bring shoes for indoors. The floors haven’t seen a real mop in a while. Black soles right away. •Mattresses firm, bedding soft. •Request extra towels ahead of time.•Sugar ants will get in food not in air tight containers. •Buy drinking water & a bag of ice. The tap water doesn’t taste good & the fridge seems to have a very dirty water filter.•Bring an extension cord for each side of the bed.We couldn’t have the family traveling w/us over b/c of the a/c issues & dirty floor. (Not letting the 1 yr-old on that floor.)It would have gone a long way toward us being more satisfied if someone had contacted us to ask if all was going well after the a/c was serviced the 1st &/or 2nd time. We had to reach out & wait.

Excellent communication and responsiveness. Beautiful view and location! We didn’t realize the pool was going to be closed until after the reservation was made, but would still give a 5 star rating! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Fabulous location

The property was terrific. Open the patio doors and listen to the waves crashing along the shoreline. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Great underground and secure parking. The unit was roomy and clean. Our tennis team loved the place. Thank you.

Stunning views

Being on the ocean was amazingl! Appreciated the cleanliness of the condo. Only negative would be the kitchen was not stocked well for us to cook all our meals; no fry pan, slow cooker or things like oven mitts and could have used more dishes for kids. Owners responded promptly to our requests. Perfect family unit! Would return.

Perfect Family Location with Stunning View.

Great clean roomy property with all the necessities for a family. Great beach access with basketball hoops & park. Nice pool & jacuzzi. Tons of restaurants & shops near by. Beautiful views & fully functional kitchen. We cooked Christmas dinner & had everything we needed dish wise to do it. Carpet could use a shampoo but with beachy feet I understand the reason why it’s tough to maintain. A few more rolls of toilet paper would have been appreciated but well stocked besides that. Highly recommend & would stay again! Made the perfect Christmas vacation spot!

Waking up to the sound of the beach was truly wonderful, and the place itself was spacious and very clean. That said, it would have been nice to have a few more basics provided—like condiments, extra beach towels, and more than two rolls of toilet paper. If you’re planning a stay, I’d recommend bringing along all the essentials you might need, such as toiletries, seasonings, and cooking oil.During our visit, the pool was closed and there was ongoing construction nearby, which did make things a bit less relaxing. The living room furniture is different from the photos, and the surrounding area does have some challenges, including a visible homeless presence. We did see a few disturbances, so it’s something to keep in mind when deciding if this location is right for you.
