Shortly after your unfortunate power outage experience, we put a deposit down on a 2nd Tesla Powerwall back up battery that will be installed soon, as well as an upgrade to our solar system, in order to better prepare the house for the possibility of another extended outage like the one you experienced. Dear Lexi, Thanks for your awesome review, I'm delighted that you and your family enjoyed staying at the cottage. So nice to hear so many positives, and the even the kids loved the space and private bath of their own. I miss our master bathroom at the cottage everyday because it is just so wonderful with the stonework, plants, and open ceiling that lets in the light and air. I'm glad you feel the same way! Hi Janet, We absolutely loved having you at the cottage, and want to thank you for writing a terrific review about your stay. I especially love the part about how the sun "bathes the scene in light" not only because it's so poetic, but also because I've stayed at St. John villas where the sun streams in so intensely that you have to leave during the day. We're so glad you found the cottage to be "immaculate" and "well equipped" and that the you loved the artwork, and the morning and "afternoon vibe" on the deck. It means so much to us because we strive to make the cottage a unique and authentic tropical island retreat for our guests.
