Nestled in the foothills of Mariposa you'll find this cozy home just perfect for your getaway to Yosemite National Park. Our Cottage has 1 bedroom with a Plush Queen bed and 1 full bathroom. A queen size sleeper sofa. With a fully equipped kitchen to make you feel right at home. Flat Screen TV, Cable, WIFI and great cell service. You will enjoy the beautiful property located 2 miles from downtown Mariposa and 35 miles from Yosemite.

The perfect place to rest up from a busy life!

The Red Barn Inn is a wonderful little cottage to stay in. Whether you are resting up from the chaos of life, wish to hike around local trails, wander through the adorable town of Mariposa or visit Yosemite. I have enjoyed every moment here. Every area of the home is stocked with anything you need to have a comfortable stay. John and Lisa are a delight and I plan to return as soon as I am able.

Great National Park Location

Excellent property with access to multiple National Parks (Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia). Owner was very responsive to needs. Will definitely stay here again!

Yosemite base camp

This was the perfect place for us to stay to visit Yosemite National Park. Everything was as shown in the pictures and descriptions. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner and rest after long days hiking.

Home away from home

The Red Barn Inn is a perfect place to stay. It's super clean and comfortable. The location worked great for our visit to Yosemite. We felt so peaceful and relaxed there. The hosts are excellent and very good communicators. We would highly recommend this property.

The Red Barn Inn was the perfect place to stay outside of Yosemite. Cozy, clean, everything you need. The owners were great and responsive. Would absolutely staye here again.

Solid Location, Perfect Stay

The cabin was amazing and had everything anyone would need. A little ways away from Yosemite but still in great distance from stores/center of Mariposa to get whatever you may need. Definitely would recommend

Quiet place to stay with easy access to Yosemite

Perfect place to relax after exploring Yosemite. Grocery store about 6-8 minutes away, cute stores in town to visit, well stocked cabin with the cutest decorations and very comfortable furnishings! Easy to communicate with owners. They even let us know we could check in early. Highly recommend the Red Barn Inn and would stay there again if we were in the area!

The Perfect Secluded Spot for our Minimoon

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Red Barn Inn. Only a short drive to Mariposa's main drag, we were never short on dinner options. Excellent tea selection for chilly mornings - we especially loved having breakfast on the porch while watching the local hummingbirds. This was the perfect location to stay at while exploring Yosemite.

Comfortable and Quiet

Hosts are great. Enjoyed our stay. We were here to photograph Yosemite at night as well as Horsetail falls, Firefall. Location is great, easy to get to downtown Mariposa and the park. Private and quiet. The “little barn” is comfortable, clean, and quiet. It has all the amenities for any stay.

Loved the Red Barn Inn

We absolutely loved the stay in the little Red Barn! Very clean, everything we needed plus extras. Beautiful property so quiet and peaceful. What we really liked best was the drive to and from Yosemite. It is beautiful, along the Merced river and the park entrance was no wait line. We loved the town of Mariposa for dinners out and grocery. Plus it was nice to stay away from crowds in Yosemite. We visited the park to hike everyday.

Peace of heaven !

This place was awesome quiet, comfy, enough space for the 4 of us to have our "space" with two teenage boys. Great location to Yosemite and surrounding areas. Highly recommend it!!!!!

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I stayed at The Red Barn Inn for our vacation to Yosemite. The property is well kept and clean. The queen size bed was so comfy! Everything we needed was provided. Our host even had literature available about the park. It is located about an hour from the Yosemite El Portal entrance. We drove to the park everyday. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this property.

Wonderful!

The Little Red Barn was a gem! It was very clean and very well stocked. We didn't do much cooking while there, but if we would have, there was everything you could possibly need! We would definitely stay there again if in the area. Thanks John and Lisa for a very comfortable stay!!

Awesome property!

We had a great stay at this awesome property! It was clean, beautiful and peaceful -- exactly what we needed after busy days of hiking and sightseeing at Yosemite. John responded quickly to my emails and questions which I appreciated very much. We took his advice on one of their favorite local restaurants -- Savoury's -- and it did not disappoint. Great service and food! Thanks for a great place to stay!

Beautiful place in a retreat like setting

The Red Barn is off the beaten path. Not too far from Mariposa but it is down a few bumpy roads. But it is a wonderful place to stay! Very well-equipped. Quiet. Relaxing. We sat on the front porch and enjoyed the sounds of birds all around. Even a hummingbird made a few visits to the porch. We felt like we were on a retreat. We would highly recommend!

I was born and raised in Yosemite and have wonderful memories to share about growing up there. Memories of watching the fire fall from my front yard in the Ahwahnee meadow, learning to rock climb from now famous Royal Robbins and Warren Harding. It was a great place to grown up. My wife is a city girl from LA and moved to Mariposa in 1988.
