family vacation

Amazing place to stay. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Just a few blocks from the beach, lots of cute shops and amazing restaurants to eat at or just to simply have a drink while enjoying the waves. I highly recommend it.

Location, location, location!

This is a fantastic rental if you want to be close to the water; the Intercoastal Waterway is on one end of the street and the Atlantic Ocean at the other. Flagler Street shops, entertainment and restaurants are a few walkable blocks. If you just want to be at home there is a very comfortable outdoor area. The property owner was cordial and a helpful resource. All this made our trip to New Smyrna Beach quite enjoyable!

Perfect getaway

I needed to be alone for a couple weeks and picked the perfect spot. The bungalow is perfect for one person. The back yard has a sitting area with a pergola, fireplace, couch, chairs. I sat outside a lot and read. Every morning I either walked or rode the bike on the beach which is three blocks away. Flagler Avenue is three blocks away also. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice! Thanks, Amber, for everything.

25th Wedding Anniversary Vacation

We absolutely loved this cozy little hideaway. It was so quaint and quiet. The bicycles were a huge plus. Being so close to Flagler and the beach was awesome! Our host was so great. 5 star all the way! The only thing we would suggest is adding a microwave oven.

Near perfect beach bungalow

Cute doesn’t even come close. Amber has a strong eye for detail and this little gem wreaks of character. It’s close enough to Flagler Ave to walk for good meal and 1/2 mile to the beach. My only problem was the bed which I found uncomfortable. The couch however was super comfy and came to the rescue. Overall a great place for a single or couple.

Beach visit

A very nice rental experience with a great location and an owner that was easy to deal with. The rental had all the things we needed for a very enjoyable visit to Florida.

Rest and Relaxation

Great place! I’m not a people person was wonderful not running into other guests/tourists! Very close to everything was able to walk to all the restaurants and feel safe at night! Amber was very knowledgeable and proud of her community!

Location, Location, Location

With an Airbnb it is often the location that can be one of the best amenities, and Amber's place hits on all cylinders....just a few easy walking blocks to the beach and Flager Avenue with interesting shopping and dining options. If you are a walker, you will also find the neighborhood very interesting to take a stroll in to get those steps in for your Fitbit! Amber's place is a private retreat on her home property and is a great selection for two people to enjoy the New Smyrna Beach area for a few days. The retreat is tastefully decorated, well furnished, and a great value. Amber was always a text communication away if needed.

Location, location, location!

This property is PERFECTLY situated for an easy walk to the beach or Flagler Street. I walked back and forth between them several times a day. The inside is very nicely decorated and CLEAN. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any question or request. Easy off street parking in an adorable neighborhood. Wi-Fi was excellent which was needed for some personal online work. Private and very quiet at night. Has A/C, heat, and/or ceiling fan - whatever you need to be comfortable. It is a great space for a single person or couple! The only possible negative is that there was not really a nice space for outdoor relaxing but with the beach an easy walk away, it wasn't really necessary. Loved the coffee shop, Cool Beans & More, just two blocks down the street. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - thanks, Amber!

We would stay there again for sure!!

The Barefoot Beach Bungalow was more than we expected. It was very charming, well equipped and clean. It was convenient to all the things we wanted to do in New Smyrna (a short walk to the beach, Flagler Ave). We loved having the use of the beach bikes. The hostess was friendly and helpful. We could not have had a better, more restorative and relaxing time than we did. We plan to stay there again soon!

Loved this sweet little Bungalow, Amber has thought of everything to make you feel at home!

A short walk or bike ride to everything. I LOVE NSB and really enjoyed having a place to sleep so close to everything. Amber has thought of everything and is a wonderful hostess. I am looking forward to my next visit already!

Cute bungalow worthy of a stay in New Smyrna Beach!

This is a quaint off street bungalow within easy walking distance of the beach and downtown NSB. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is a bit small but was satisfactory for our stay since we mostly ate out. Amber was quite nice and gave us a good orientation even though we came in just a little early. Several beach supplies and two bikes were available for our use too. Overall, the value was excellent!

comfortable and quiet

Perfect place for 1 or 2 people. The cottage is well appointed and thought out. The property and the neighborhood is beautiful. Only a few blocks to all the attractions and restaurants yet when you return all is quiet and relaxed. Couldn't have been happier.

clean, darling space with exquisite attention to detail

My mom and I did a Bucket List Trip weekend to Daytona to spend a day at the Speedway, and a day to sit on the beach doing nothing other than relax and have a nice dinner, and this bungalow was our HOME comfort for our fun weekend, easily accessible to our destinations.

Great stay and awesome host!

We had such an amazing time! Amber, our host was and is fantastic! Very personable, helpful and kind. She'll respond to any of your needs or questions prior to your visit promptly. She had great suggestions for us and made sure our trip was special. The cottage truly is a few blocks from the beach and from Flagler Ave where all the action happens! Be sure to hit up "Bounty" the speakeasy upstairs from the Flagler Tavern. If you love 1920s anything, quiet, chill, mature environments and fantastic mixology, GO! Be sure to sign the cottage wall before you leave as a moment for Amber!
