Welcome to your 1700 square ft vacation getaway situated on 2 acres! Located 4 miles south of Interstate 40 between Flagstaff and Williams ( Gateway to Grand Canyon)! WIFI- EASY self check in with keypad!! Central location to the astounding beauty of Northern Arizona. Property has play ground for kids including, swing set, slide, geo dome, and tire swing! Adjust the thermostat how you like it in each room with new Hydronic heating system through out house, or cuddle up next to the cozy wood stove. House has 3 bedrooms two family/ living rooms and two bathrooms. Plus and additional room that can serve as a bedroom with 2 twin beds. Fully stocked kitchen and laundry room, everything you need to feel at home! Look out into Garland Prairie for elk, deer and antelope! Watch the humming birds from the deck, immediate access to forest service roads and trails. Bring your 4 wheelers or take a walk to nearby Scholz lake out the back door (approx. 10 min.). Summer time is beautiful in Northern Arizona, beat the heat and come enjoy fresh mountain air. Winter season provides cross- country skiing out the door, skiing at Snowbowl (Flagstaff) or Bill Williams Mt. (Williams) - 15 min drive to Polar Express in Williams. About an Hour drive to the Grand Canyon
This location will provide you with rest and relaxation after all your activities! Dish satellite TV 139 channels with sports package. You will drive on 4 miles of dirt road to get to home, well maintained by the county, rural area but home is in a neighborhood with a few neighbors that are an acre or 2 apart. You will love the peace and quiet and the fresh air. There are 2 stores about 5 miles away that serve food and have gas and groceries. 17 miles to Flagstaff, 14 miles to Williams, 40 miles to Sedona. Master bedroom has king bed and attached bath, 2nd bedroom is a queen bed, 3rd bedroom has bunk bed with double bed on bottom and twin on top. There is a bonus room with 2 twin beds, as well as 2 full size air mattresses in the closet. 2 acre yard is fenced for your dogs! Propane BBQ grill.

The house itself was exceptionally clean with lots of detail on directions on how to use things. The dirt roads were a little difficult to drive on for a sedan, but manageable. Did enjoy the hiking through the woods and the lake. Also, enjoyed the outdoor barbecue/fire pit.

This is a hidden gem between 2 popping city’s! The enclosed acre for our dogs was perfect, and the hike to Sholtz lake was an absolute blast. It was so much fun to be 25 minutes away from Williams and Flagstaff! Far enough to enjoy the pines in ABSOLUTE silence but close enough for a quick drive to all the tourist things. The house was so much fun with so much room for not only us but our dogs. Our dogs got to enjoy running a huge fenced in yard, and daily hikes around this community. I can’t convey how perfect this property is setup for pets, so much room. Chris has so many amenities for our use, and the house was spotless! My fiancé and I fell in love with Parks because of this place, and fingers crossed we will return as much as possible. With zero hesitation we would stay here again and again!

Great place, secluded but not far from anything you need. Great for the kids too with the outdoor toys and room to roam!

This was a great stay for our family of 6 adults and 2 dogs. The loved that everyone could have there own room. The living room was spacious cans we could all sit comfortably together. We love to play board games and the dining room area was perfect our family night of fun. Our dogs loved the big fenced yard where they could run and play. During our stay we visited Bearizona and the Grand Canyon. Both were within an easy drive. We were able to both in one day. Definitely will add this to our favorites list. Thanks to our hosts for giving us the opportunity to make more family memories!

This is a well used family home, it’s clean and comfortable and has everything we needed. The fenced in area was great, and having the small lake down the road to walk to was fantastic. It’s very easy to get to both Williams and Flagstaff. The host responded quickly when we had questions.

This property is perfect for a family with young children who need to get away from the city and experience country life. The house is clean and pet friendly. The host was easy to get a hold of and answered questions within minutes.

Relaxing Weekend getaway

Very nice place to stay. Owner has left thorough information on the property and has thought of many little details (for example: plenty of towels and blankets). Nicely situated between Williams and Flagstaff and close to lots of outdoor recreation but still secluded enough for some nice R and R.

Great getaway

My family rented this house for two days to go on the polar express with the kids. We had a great stay. House was very comfortable and very well stocked with everything you could need. Chris, the owner was great and very accommodating.

Cute and quiet getaway

Very cute and quiet neighborhood. The house is welcoming and had plenty of space for all eleven of our group! Everything you might need for a stay away from home! The Scholz lake is a nice little walk away, lots of birds and wildlife to look at along the walk. The property manager is quick to respond with any questions you might have, and it was just a short drive to all the local activities. We had a wonderful stay

Stars galore!

Off the beaten path and away from the city lights. Pet and kid friendly. Stayed for a long summer weekend with the whole family. Very accommodating.

Amazing!

We stayed only for 2 nights due to personal reasons but it was completely amazing. It is a great property with great views and amenities. You made us feel like home. It was really great to spent this couple of days in this property. Thank your very much for everything.

Cozy, not fancy, private, just right

We’re so glad to have spent part of our Spring Break here. We stayed in Parks and took day trips to Grand Canyon, Bearizona, and Sedona. Chris had everything there we needed, access was seamless with a door keypad, and the kids loved the trampoline and piano!! Thanks for a great stay. I even was able to do a few necessary loads of laundry!

My wife and a have been in Flagstaff since we were young, we went to Flagstaff high school. We married and moved to Parks to enjoy the space and beauty. We have 2 small children and both work full time jobs. We moved back to Flagstaff for the kids activities and to be a bit closer to work but could not part with our country home that we love so we decided to share it with others in order to be able to keep it. Flagstaff is only about 20 min from Parks.

We loved the calm and quietness of the country side and simplistic living away from the busy city life.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We wanted space to have pets (they came first) and places for the kids (they were next) to play. We love to garden you will see my glorious Clematis, Columbine, trees and numerous wild flowers. We enjoy to sit by the campfire on a still evening and gaze at the night sky. Fully covered deck with furniture, picnic table, plenty of lawn chairs.
