This Charlottesville charming cottage offers a peaceful retreat for solo travelers or couples wanting to experience the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains close to Charlottesville. It is spacious for a one bedroom cottage and offers plenty of natural light and outdoor space to enjoy. The cottage includes amenities such as a cable TV, fast WiFi, and A/C. It also is newly equipped with beautiful white furnishings for the utmost tranquility, comfort, and enjoyment.

The cottage is located just 8 miles west of Charlottesville on a private residence property with mountain views. The on site hosts are lovely to speak with and offer guests plenty of privacy while being available for any needs. Within 10 miles of UVA, King Family Vineyards, Ragged Mountain, Birdwood Golf Course, and Pippin Hill Vineyards, this property is the ideal home base for your next Charlottesville vacation.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this property, and the on site owner is quite strict about this rule. In the case of service animals, we follow current ADA requirements. Please notify us in advance if you travel with a service animal. Please note that a booking and confirmation agreement will also be sent via text to review and sign upon booking.

The is place is perfect for two! Skip the BH Inn or Farmington for this cute little alternative to hotels. The host is super nice.

Nice clean place on a quiet property. Very friendly and responsive host. I would highly recommend this place for two that are looking for a peaceful place to stay. Easy access to Charlottesville and crozet.

This was a pitstop on a very challenging road trip to visit family. I needed rest. This place gave me so much rest. I can't wait to come back to it during better times. It's very healing. It sits on a quiet road on a gentle hill and morning runs were wonderful. I travel quite a bit and stay in a lot of places. Lately there are a lot of rules and the host is always in your face. This one is not that. They trust you. They leave fresh orange juice in the refrigerator. They leave you alone to heal. I feel so much better. Thank you so much. 10 out of 10.

Great little cottage near Charlottesville

This was a very nice, quiet place to stay near Charlottesville. We had all the amenities we needed and a couple of extras that were really nice touches - small glasses of orange juice and some oatmeal for breakfast!

Beautiful Place

In the area to see family in Crozet and the cottage was the perfect place for us. The location is so peaceful and quiet. The host were excellent in communication and made us feel truly welcomed. We will stay again when we are back in the area.

Two days in crozet

Love the digs. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and close to our activities. Beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Cozy Cottage

Comfortable, clean, cozy cottage perfect for a getaway or parents visiting UVA student. As visiting parents ourselves, we enjoyed the beautiful countryside that is not too far away from campus. It was a great spot to relax and recharge.

Amazing Space Near Charlottesville

The space is absolutely as advertised - it is clean, comfortable, utterly charming and has everything you could possibly need, and then some. Cathy and Kirk are wonderful hosts. I look forward to coming back and staying again sometime!

A Relaxing Getaway

The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked.

Sweet cottage outside of Charlottesville

Comfy little spot just on the outskirts of Charlotte near wineries. Wonderful location and sweet cottagey feel. Highly recommend this for a little get away. There is no full kitchen but that worked well for us as it had everything else we needed including snacks, tea and coffee. Host was very friendly and helpful with local food ideas.

Cozy and Close to Everything

Beautiful property that is close to everything Crozet and Charlottesville have to offer. Great hosts. When planning note that the cottage does not have a kitchen but a microwave and small appliances are there.

Lovely Cottage

My husband and I stayed for the weekend. The cottage was comfortable and very cute. We loved the location and surroundings. We were close to wineries and downtown Charlottesville but far enough away to enjoy a country setting. Our hosts" The Train Family " were very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend.
