The location could not be better! Rooms were very nice size. Party of 6 had plenty of personal space. Sand toys were so nice to have, very family friendly.

It was in a nice location, and I understand not putting nice things in a rental and the furniture was fine, except the beds! the beds upstairs were extremely firm and the downstairs bed did have a topper on it which helped but it felt like a box spring was broke or something and it was repaired but was uneven, the only other issue was the carpets. They were horrible, stained and dirty. we laid down beach towels to sit and to play cards at the coffee table. other than those 2 things it was a decent place to stay.

Reoccurring plumbing problems from toilets to dishwasher to garbage disposal made for a bit of a rough trip. There was toilet paper in one toilet when we arrived letting us know there might be a problem. The host was very responsive but the toilet issues were never totally fixed and the kitchen issues were a lot!These are older condos but this was obviously not a new issue. Owners need to address to expect return customers.

We appreciate your feedback and willingness to have a post-stay conversation regarding the issues that you experienced. I apologize that the toilet was not fixed on the first visit from the maintenance team and I discussed this shortcoming with our management company. We really strive for each guest's stay to be comfortable and worry free, so I hate that your stay was interrupted by an ongoing maintenance issue. Again, we truly appreciate that you chose our condo for your Orange Beach vacation and we regret that the stay did not deliver the experience that we want and expect for our guests.

Love the Sugar Beach Condos! Great Location and the Sugar Shack is a huge Plus!

Our Unit showed a lot of wear and had issues with one of the bathrooms but overall we had a good experience!

Family Vacation

Overall it was perfect! It accommodated all 9 of us. It was a quick walk down to the beach! The condo was clean, and had all the linen we needed. The AC had a hard time keeping up with the heat but overall was great experience. Cannot wait to go back!

Location was perfect

The place was perfect for beach and pool access. Our house was very nice. There were some cosmetic flaws that could use some touch ups to make it more appealing and the patio furniture needs replaced on the deck. Overall it was on point.

Sugar Beach 331

Excellent location/ great beach . Property pools and parking well maintained . Condo was spacious for 6 women and all amenities as promised. Lartigue Seafood across the street is the BEST shrimp and seafood I have ever had. Carry out and cooked to order.

Very responsive owner.

The owner of this condo was very responsive and helpful. The condo was very clean and close to all the fun things to do and places to eat. The beach is just steps away. The air conditioning for this condo is also excellent. If we come back this way again we will gladly rent it again. Thanks for a trouble free stay.

Perfection !!!

Sugar Beach has always been a favorite of mine. It is perfect for us and the area is exactly what fits me and my family/friends. This year was our first year to stay in unit 331 and I could not have asked for a better unit. Everything that was promised was delivered. The ease of our stay and over all convenience was top notch. I go to the beach, to the area, every summer, sometimes multiple times a summer, and this was by far the best.

Family Vacay

Overall the condo was decent. It was a pretty close walk to the beach. We enjoyed hanging out on the beach and it was convenient to most places we wanted to go. Inside the condominium we had plenty of room to spread out and 7 of us had comfy places to sleep. Be sure to bring trash bags and toilet paper if you are staying more than a couple of days. The carpet was gross, some of the furniture is dingy, and overall the air inside the condo seemed damp. We also couldn’t figure out how to work the TVs.

Awesome experience!

The property is older and smaller than your typical condo in Orange Beach; however, it is extremely clean and well-maintained. The unit was updated and cleaning crew is ALWAYS on the job! The outdoor spaces were super clean and we loved the Sugar Shack! Staff was friendly and our check-in process was easy. BTW the parking permit is $20, not $15. :) Great trip!

Only one of the three elevators was working. Frustration getting to and from our room was frustrating and time consuming! The stairway light in our room was nonworking. The rooms themselves were great! The air worked marginally, and it was hard to sleep. We will rent from here again, though. If everything is working!

Few problems

We stayed at sugar beach 331. They had problems with plumbing leaking from bathroom through the ceiling dripping on refrigerator. They had several holes cut in the walls. One hole was directly over the stove and dripped on the stove while cooking. The dryer was very slow and had to be turned on 4 times to dry a load. Nice acces to the beach .

Unfortunately the problem was misdiagnosed several times and therefore it was a lengthy and inconvenient repair process. We take our maintenance very seriously and had the issue looked at by a plumber, general handyman and 2 HVAC professionals before it was correctly assessed and repaired. Great Stay

Only problem was there's a whole in the ceiling of the kitchen and in one of the bedroom’s walls. I called the property management. There had been a link. I told them I didn’t mind if they sent someone to fix the holes. I was told someone would be out the next day to fix it. No one ever came. Other than that, great place to stay. Condo is nice, comfortable, like being at home…. Better cause the beach is outside. Lol

This summer we have had a very hard time successfully addressing the leak that impacted the kitchen ceiling and bedroom wall. Because of the extent of the leak, the hole had to remain open longer than anticipated and a drying agent had to be applied before it could be patched. It has been an extremely frustrating experience for us, and most importantly, our guests. Please accept our genuine apologies! At this point, we believe that it is fixed for good and we are very excited to have that issue behind us. Again, we deeply regret that our maintenance issue impacted your stay. Great Family Getaway!

Our family of six stayed at this beachfront condo for five days and had a great time! The first day was a wash out w stormy weather however we had beautiful weather for the remainder of our stay. Every day we went down to the beach in the morning, popped back up to shower for some lunch out, and then went back to the beach, then pool. We did this every day and it was perfect being so close to both the beach and the pool (there are four to chose from so we never felt crowded at the pool). The condo is right on the main business strip so we found it easy to find great places for food and dessert when we ventured out. The condo has all the amenities you’d need. It isn’t fancy and is a bit out dated however it has everything you need for a family vacation experience. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony feeling he ocean breezes too. The elevator was super convenient and there are rolling carts for guests to borrow to tow groceries/bags up if needed, too. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this condo!

Beach Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo! There were a few items that needed attention, but the issue was immediately taken care of. When we arrived to the condo the air conditioner was not working. The next day we contacted property management and they fixed by lunch. We also noticed the closet door was off its hinges so we just did not use. A few of the kitchen cabinet doors were lose too. Again no issue just noticed wear. The last little hiccup was the pull bed had busted springs making it difficult for the kids to sleep on. Not a huge issue but just want to make y’all aware. Over all it was a great stay!
