Nestled in the serene Ocean Haven neighborhood on the northern end of Cape San Blas, Beach Camp offers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. This home features a private heated saltwater pool, an elevator for easy access, and a shuffleboard table for friendly competition. With four decks providing stunning gulf and bay views, it's an ideal setting for larger groups to experience the tranquil charm and vibrant spirit of the Cape!
Since its completion in June 2017, Beach Camp has set a new standard for luxury and leisure on Cape San Blas with its distinctive amenities and thoughtful design where new meets nostalgia in a stunning vacation retreat.
At the heart of shared moments and laughter is our custom-made 19' shuffleboard table, crafted from reclaimed barn and bowling alley wood. The game room, with its smart TV and board game table, opens up to four decks offering breathtaking gulf and bay views.
The outdoor experience at Beach Camp features an extremely private and naturally set heated saltwater pool. Adjacent is a fire pit surrounded by cozy Adirondack chairs, perfect for evening storytelling under the stars. The kids (and kids at heart) will love the outdoor game turf area, stocked with games for endless fun.
This 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home accommodates large groups comfortably with two master suites, bedrooms tailored for every need, and a bunk room designed for dreams and whispers. The great room on the 3rd floor, with its 100+-year-old reclaimed beadboard ceiling, offers a breathtaking setting. Here, both the gulf and the bay vie for your attention, complemented by reclaimed cypress wood bars on the decks for enjoying meals or drinks with a view.
Understanding the value of shared meals, we've crafted a custom dining table from the same barn wood as the shuffleboard, seating 14 guests. It's more than a table; it's where your family will gather for meals, laughter, and memory-making.
Your journey to the beach is a simple stroll along a nature path to Ocean Haven's dedicated neighborhood boardwalk, leading you straight to the pristine sands of Cape San Blas.

Beach Camp was fantastic. Carrie was very responsive, answering questions prior to booking and throughout the stay. House was very nice, we loved the shuffleboard table and kitchen table and all of the porch areas. Pool area and fire pit were great. Unable to use the fire pit because of the current burn ban but it would be perfect for s'mores. Easy walk to beach. Would recommend this property to others.

Family vacay
House was well equipped and very clean. Loved the large table for family meals and game nights. Pool area was awesome and the beach access was an easy walk

Great stay @ beach camp! House was lovely! We had all amenities, and was great for our multigenerational stay! Elevator was great for elderly parents, wonderful location (walkable to beach) with great pool and all the beach gear you need. We came back rested and recharged!

Everything was wonderful. The house is beautiful and I decorated so nicely. Communication with the host was great. The shuffleboard on the second floor was a big hit The location of the house was perfect and the views were spectacular. Would definitely recommend this property for your beach stay.

Amazing Spacious House
We loved our time at Cape San Blas and the home was great for our large family. Enough room to spread out and also hang out.
Easy walk to the beach and the pool was a welcomed amenity.

Beach Camp
We had a great week at Beach Camp! The house is private with a great view of the ocean from the covered deck. The house is fully stocked with everything you need from the kitchen to beach supplies. The pool area is nice and private. We had one rainy day but had a great time playing shuffle board. The owner did a fantastic job of communicating with us. Would recommend!!

Perfect
We had 4 adults and 4 children. Never felt we was crowded. The pool was great and bed rooms were really nice.

Beach Camp
Beach Camp is a wonderful beach view rental for both large and smaller families. The kitchen is the best equipped of all houses that I have rented at CSB. Furniture is nice. The pool is the right size for which to cool off for little ones.

Wonderful Week
Everything about this property was top notch. The owner was very responsive and quickly resolved a couple of very minor issues that we just needed a little guidance to solve.The home was well stocked with everything we needed.The kids tended to make a little noise playing in the pool but there are no other properties very close, so their fun didn’t bother any neighbors.We had a great time and I would recommend this property.

Great Family Vacation Home
The house was beautiful! My famiy, sisters, parents, and our kids just stayed the past week here. 13 of us. It fit us all well, we did not feel overcrowded. The pool was nice. The walk to the beach was not horribly long. My parents and I agree (I'm 30 yrs old) this was by far one of the best vacations we have had. Thank you Carrie for the great communication and allowing us to stay!

Thanksgiving Week Getaway
We chose to spend Thanksgiving Week away from home for a change. Beach Camp at Cape San Blas was home away from home for that week. The check in process was flawless as Carrie reached out multiple times to inform and check on the process. The house was very roomy and immaculate. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The beach, as advertised, is a short (5 - 6 minutes) walk away. There were plenty of beach chairs made available. Weather was nice practically the whole stay. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to Beach Camp for a future getaway.

Disappointed
We unfortunately all came down with a severe stomach bug within 6 hours of arrival to the house.We had two infants the morning of checkout vomiting and having diarrhea.4 out of the 6 adults were still having the same issue as well.We were trying very hard to get out of the house with the vomiting babies by 10am. We were able to get all our belongings out and to the cars by 10am. The owner was watching us on cameras and called to harshly reprimand me about the check out policy.When I tried to explain that we were out of the house and trying our best to load the cars in the condition we are all in she was completely unsympathetic and cold.I understand the check out time and we all really wanted to be well on our way home. We made sure to be out of the house by 10am and when I told her that she said “10am means off the property”. I explained to her that my husband was strapping down everything in the back of the truck, but she had no sympathy for our situation that week. Once we left we realized that I had left my very expensive set of hair cutting shears so I immediately called the owner two times in a row right after speaking with her to ask if she could please unlock the deadbolt since she had changed the code at 10am and we didn’t have entry to the house. She did not answer. My husband then called her from a different number and she answered right away. We had a rough week and the owner made it so much worse in the end. I would not recommend renting from this lady.

I am extremely sorry that your entire family was sick during your vacation. That’s not an ideal situation for anyone and definitely not something anyone wishes to deal with on what should be an enjoyable week that you’ve likely looked forward to all year.
Check-in was of course Saturday. On Monday, the second full day of the stay, we communicated via text and I was told you all were “having a great time!” There was no mention of sickness. I was not made aware that anyone in your party had been ill until the day of check-out when you were already an hour past check-out time. At that point, I called unaware of the situation. My hands were tied and there was very little I could do to accommodate at such a late hour. From our side of things as property owners and cleaning crews, not only are we on a strict schedule with the next family checking in in just a few hours, but now we have been informed, without prior notice, that your entire family has been sick all week. That meant that the cleaning crews needed ample amount of time to air out the home, clean, and disinfect every surface in the house to prevent the next family from catching the stomach bug. This made checking out and allowing room for our crews to work to be even more important which in turn led to an uncomfortable phone call. I feel the situation could have been made better and less stressful had we communicated regarding your family’s sickness. We could have worked together to help get your family medical care and come up with a check-out plan including allowing my cleaners to come prepared to prevent their own infection.
I am incredibly sorry that your entire party, including small children, were so unwell for 7 full days and that scheduled check-out went the way that it did. I hope you all get the rest and recovery time that you need and that you had a safe trip home. I am so sorry that you had such a poor time and we do understand your feelings regarding your choice to not stay with us again. I hope you find a vacation company or owner that fits your needs in the future and that you can have a redemption trip to our area in the future.

We enjoyed the Beach Club very much!!!! There was plenty of room for our group. Having beach chairs and boogie boards there for us to use was fantastic!!!

Can’t say enough about this remarkable home!
Beach Camp is the perfect home, perfect location, perfect hostess, perfect amenities! I almost hate to give this home such a great review because it might become so popular that we won’t be able to reserve another vacation. The home decor was outstanding. The kids loved the green area and the pool. We all loved the fire pit which was much handier than carrying wood to the beach. The outdoor closet was packed with beach, pool and yard supplies. The kitchen was very well stocked for the days we cooked at home. The short nature walk to the beach was enjoyable, especially with the beach cart. Carrie has made sure her home is home to whoever comes through the doors. We’ve been coming to the cape for close to 10 years and this is by far our favorite. Thanks, Carrie, for sharing your home with us. We WILL be back. (FYI - I see a shuffle board in my future.)

We visited Cape San Blas for the first time in 2001 and immediately fell in love. The water was perfect, the beaches weren't crowded and we could bring our dog. We especially like the North end of The Cape because it is very quiet. The amazing T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is so close to the house and the dune structure on that beach is like none you have ever seen. Beach Camp boasts a very private pool, a custom made shuffleboard table and amazing Gulf and Bay views from all four decks.

We worked really hard to think about how we could make this house as 'easy' as possible in which to vacation. Just a few things that make Beach Camp pretty special:
Very Private Pool - You can't see any neighbors from the pool at Beach Camp!
Custom Made Shuffleboard Table - It's a beauty made of reclaimed barn wood from Georgia. It is the only shuffle board table on Cape San Blas.
Custom Made Dining Table - It's important to us that everyone can sit and enjoy dinner together while on vacation. The amazing dining table at Beach Camp easily seats 14.
Bunk Room - The kids will love their built-in bunk room. Each bunk has an individual light for reading before bed.
Amazing Reclaimed Beadboard Ceiling - We love old things and wanted to add some historic touches to our new home. The entire ceiling in the 2nd floor living space is made of reclaimed beadboard from Valdosta, GA. It's beautiful! The only ceiling like it on Cape San Blas is the one at our other home, Good Fortune.
Huge Outdoor Shower Under the House - I really don't like my dry things getting wet when I shower in a small outdoor space. We've made our outdoor shower large enough so your clothes and towels never get wet.
Quiet Dishwasher - I promise, it's quiet.
Large Pantry - Our kitchen has a large, walk-in pantry so that all of your groceries can be stored out of sight.
Four Decks with Sunrise and Sunset Views - Beach Camp has 2 covered decks on each floor for a total of 4 decks. From the west facing decks you have a beautiful view of the Gulf and the amazing Cape San Blas sunsets. From the east facing decks you have a beautiful view of the Bay and the sunrises.
