Nice little place

This was a perfect little place for us and our granddaughter. I guess if i had to describe the place i would say it was probably a small beach hotel years ago, and has been converted to small condo units. Nothing fancy, but we generally are in our room just to shower and sleep, so it worked well for us. We did make breakfast there daily. The kitchen was adequately stocked for our needs. There is a gas grill on site as well, which we did use once. That was nice to have. Overall the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach is just steps away and beach chairs and umbrellas are supplied if you want to take them. Doc is around at least once a day and is easy to contact if you need anything. Very nice man and a gracious host. We have already started talking about visiting again!

Charming, Quiet, & Excellent

Outstanding communication. Charming, clean. Quaint, & Quiet little spot. Perfect little vacation spot! Maybe 65 steps to the beach. Chairs & Umbrella provided. Overall excellent experience!!! I will definitely come back!!! Doc was awesome!!! Excellent communication and personal care to insure a great and smooth rental. Loved it!!!

Very cute and quaint one bedroom with all the amenities you could need. Very clean plenty of towels provided. In the middle of St.Pete’s Beach and Old Town Clearwater. Plenty to do and see. Would definitely stay there again. Price is right!

shocking arrival

The location and beach were wonderful; HOWEVER, our arrival was TERRIBLE. The owner, "Doc" had double-booked our place. We heard from another renter that he had done the same thing to them. An hour and a half from the place he called and asked if we "could find a place to stay for a few days". We had just travelled for two days from Buffalo, New York. He tried to put us up in a friends garage bedroom. We said no and finally after an hour he found us a place to say for three days. When we finally got into our place, we found only two dinner plates, only two coffee mugs, only two bath towels and silverware from a flea market, BUT fourteen wine glasses. The final kicker is that I had left a pair of glasses behind. Doc, at first, said he would send "tomorrow", but after three weeks, he said he would only send them after we submitted a review of our stay. Apparently, I won't be getting my glasses back Guess what Doc, you can keep my glasses!!!!!

Great Location!

The location of this place is great, just off the beach and very convenient. We stayed here for 1 month. The kitchen was set up for short term rentals with just a few utensils, pots, and a few dishes. Doc, is very personable and responds pretty quick. We enjoyed staying here.

Perfect Beach Spot

We loved our stay here! You can’t beat the location/beach access. Doc was very kind and helpful. We walked to dinner most nights and loved visiting the town.

Great location

We were overall satisfied with our stay at this location. Check in process was great. Unfortunately the red tide was going on during our stay which is no fault of the location. There wasn't a hair dryer as I thought was stated and the TVs did not work well; bed and pillows not that comfortable and bathroom could use some updates. These were minor things as we didn't come to FL to watch TV and hang in room that much; location and access to beach were great!

Beach Weekender

Perfect place for a romantic get away. Everything was as advertised - beautiful private beach with easy access. My fiancé and I loved the condo that was well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The Host Doc Schroeder was very attentive to our needs and assuring we had a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

The upstairs unit has a lot of windows so it Is nice and bright and you have a view of the sunset. A very short walk to the beach.

Great Stay

I loved staying here so close to the beach! Doc was wonderful always checking on everyone to make sure they had everything they needed. When I got there I was t feeling so good and ended up in the ER and he and his wife checked on me After to make sure I didn’t need anything and that I was ok. It’s so close to everything and a step outside your door to the beach! And they had all the beach chairs, towels, toys and umbrellas for a day at the beach!

Beach trip for 2

Relaxing, overall perfect place to unwind. Beautiful beach is just steps away and lots of restaurants within a mile. One is even on the beach and has music. Doc, our landlord, was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Top rating for this place!

We really like the location of Sunglow Condo Motel. It is located right on the beach and so close to so many great amenities.

Guests enjoyed our NEW EFFICIENT QUIET RUNNING, Central AC SYSTEM and NEW DIGITAL TVs in all rooms and their private sitting table with umbrella under the entrance canopy. It’s just a short minutes scenic walk along beautiful Gulf Blvd to Wynn Dixie grocery store, boutiques, dress & gift shops, hair salons , beachy restaurants /beach bars or over ac100 shops at the World’s Famous John’s Pass w
Waterfront Boardwalk. The popular beach trolley, a MUST DO, stops out front and is a FABULOUS scenic ride NORTH along scenic GULF Blvd to Clearwater Beach or SOUTH St.Petersburg Beach. A 1 day pass is just $2.50. Guests and friends always enjoy the barbeque cookout, under the palm trees, at Sunglow.
