Short Great Trip

The house was amazing, right across the street from the beach. We did have an issue with the code working initially, but that was solved rather quickly via text with the owner/manager. Overall GREAT trip and I would definitely stay there again.

Great stay

House was located in a quiet convenient community. Quick easy access to the beach. Plenty of room for each family member with their own bath. Really enjoyed the large open area on the main floor to spend time together as a family. Landscaping was not extravagant but fine - not of importance to us. We had beautiful weather. Enjoyed our family time together in this space. Would visit again.

Deep sea fishing with friends

My 3 friends and I go deep sea fishing every year and it's hard to find a quality 4 bedroom in PC. This house is is a 10 out of 10 and will rent again.

Love LaValencia and loved this place

Only draw back on the property is lack of a grill. There is only a charcoal grill. Other than that it was perfect.

no where to swim the pool was off limits to us that's what the resident that lives there told us the grill was the worse I have ever seen everything else was grate!

Beautiful, Peaceful Spring Break ‘24!

Coming from Ohio in March, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful Florida sunshine. We loved this vacation spot. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. The location was quiet, peaceful and very aesthetically pleasing. We enjoyed the extra space to hang out since we only had 5 people. The private entrance to the beach and pool were great! Beautiful water and white sand. The only complaint we have is that the pool and hot tub listed on the site’s pictures were for homeowners only. This photo should be removed. Overall, we loved our stay at La Valencia.

Lovely Long Weekend

My family & sister’s family had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone to be together or have quiet time alone. If we weren’t at the beach or pool we were cooking big meals and playing board/card games. If you want to cook, be prepared to buy everything food-wise. All that was supplied was salt and pepper. There were plenty of pots/pans/bowls/utensils.

Wonderful vacation

This property was great. The only problem that I had was the televisions in the bedrooms. We couldn't get them to work because of either the cable service or something. The beds also need some heavier covers or tell the guests that they need to bring heavier bedding. My family and I really enjoyed it otherwise.

There were only a few issues. The toliet upstairs ran the whole stay let you al know was told a work order was put in. Saw a large roach the last night. Other than that we had a good stay

Beautiful house

The house is very roomy, comfortable as well as beautifully furnished and decorated. It's a three-minute walk to the beach. Stores and restaurants are down the road to both sides. Very convenient. It would have been nice to have information about the location of the tennis courts and gate code information (the codes we received initially were incorrect; also the beach code required putting in an additional character after the numbers, which wasn't relayed to us and which caused problems in the beginning).

Great Location

Things we liked about the house were all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms, great location. The private pool and deck at the beach were wonderful. Too cold to swim but a great deck overlooking the beach. Things we did not like were the thermostat is upstairs so we had a difficult time getting the downstairs warm since they had abnormally cold weather. The house is listed as two pools but the one in the community is for owners only. That should be made clear in the listing. The house really needs a good deep clean and a little sprucing up. Overall a great location, lots of room.

Nice location

The property had a wonderful location. Just cross the street and you are at the beach. The beach was wonderful. The swimming pool was also across the street and was great. However, the house was a bit rough around the edges. The stove top was unreliable. One cabinet in the kitchen had weak shelf supports. When we removed a bowl, the entire shelf collapsed and many bowls feel the the tile floor and shattered. The shelf on the door of the refridgerator was broken. When we placed a container of orange juice on it, the shelf broke and made quite a mess on the floor. The back door was hard to lock and unlock. But I feel just a small investment by the owners would make this site a five-star location.

Good stay dated house

Our location was good but the VRBO description said community pool is available but it is not, there is a beach side pool though. Issues with the house include that all the kitchen appliances need to be replaced. The fridge especially as it is missing or has broken shelves and the ice maker is not working. The couches in the living room need to be replaced as the springs are sprung, you are sitting nearly on the floor. The tile floors in the bathrooms are old and dirty. The blinds do not open / close so you have to raise and lower them. The grill is a small round charcoal grill. The outside need to be power washed.

Just Facts

Location was great. Floors were swept, but so covered with grime our feet turned black within minutes. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean except for floors. Property description showing pictures of neighborhood pool was misleading because renters are not allowed access to neighborhood pool. However, beachside pool was good. Yard maintenance non-existent. Backyard all grown up and ugly. No towels and soap in 1/2 bath. Adequate to minimum towels and soap in other bathrooms. 1 small roll of paper towels and 1 small auto dishwasher soap supplied. Plenty of TP supplied.

The neighbor was beautiful BUT the landscaping at Ballyhoo was "horrible." The ice machine didn't work, nor did the TV in 3 bedrooms. We called maintenance who so-called fixed the problem but it was not fixed. He stated the cable will be working on the TV's shortly & he stated he had fixed the ice machine (he stated the water wasn't hooked up). On top of that we were traveling, got to the house an hour early & was told we couldn't enter the house. Just not what we are use to considering we visit twice a year & have for the past 6 years. Last time "ever" using this rental company & staying in this house.

The layout of the house was perfect for our family as we had 4 adult couples. Every bedroom has its own bathroom which was perfect for everyone getting ready at the same time. The kitchen is huge and plenty of seating for our large group. When we arrived the disposal and dishwasher didn’t work. We called and it was fixed the next day at 5pm on a Saturday so I was surprised it got fixed on a weekend! The walk to the beach was only about 5 minutes and there’s a community pool that you can use. You can’t use the pool at the community. The floors were pretty dirty even after being cleaned. We also saw multiple cockroaches while staying here so we are having to go through all our luggage to make sure we didn’t bring home any friends. After reading the reviews at the house the roaches have been an issue in the past. There was also one tv that didn’t work and the upstairs mini fridge didn’t work either. Overall I would stay here again if they got rid of the roaches.
