Beautiful spacious and clean apartment. Premium location steps from the cabanas strip with restaurants, shopping and mini markets at your doorstep. Also steps from ferry to the island and its pristine beach. Jan was an exceptional host meeting us upon our arrival and always available for any questions or concerns. Would absolutely recommend staying here and if I ever return to Portugal would love to stay again! Thanks Jan!

This is the fifth time we've spent our vacation at Cabanas, and I must say, we've never had such a beautiful apartment.Spacious, with large French doors leading to the garden, and even enough space to park the car in the driveway.The apartment is fully furnished and has everything you need, and is quietly located yet right near the town center.Jan...a great host. Always interested in whether everything is alright.

Week in Cabanas de Tavira

Loved this Excellent modern apartment with all amenities you might want. Short walk to restaurants/ cafes along avenida ria formosa. Fabulous beach. Minutes from lovely town of Tavira. Gracious, personable host. Will certainly be back of they will have us.

Cabannas

The apartment was in a great location, easy to get around to boardwalk, restaurants and beach. Owner, Jan, was wonderful. We were able to get in early as place was cleaned and ready for us. Jan answered promptly whenever we had questions and was friendly and delightful to deal with.

Fantastic location

We booked this super last minute, a few hours, and it was their first rental of the year. The host, Jan, lovely to deal with, very friendly. The villa needs a tidy up and the terrace needs weeding, cleaning and just general work. But again it was last minute so should all be sorted for the season. The location was fabulous, just a couple rows back from the great bars, promenade and water. 5 minutes to ferry for island. Close to supermarket, butchers and fresh fish and fruit and vegetables market. All in all an ideal place to stay.

Stay in Cabanas

The property had all modern equipment and was large, it is in a good area however the building work around woke us up early in the morning. Generally clean however the outside could have been kept a little better with regards to weeds, cleanliness of bbq which we did not use and also there were cigarette ends in the peg box. This is not down to the owners but the people who maintain the property. The owners have done a good job in providing the best of everything and keeping it well equipped . We had an enjoyable stay in Cabanas.

Little piece of heaven in the Algarve

Jan’s property is beautiful, stylish and immaculate. The apartment is very new with all the modern conveniences you could wish for...we actually wondered if we might have been the first guests as it appeared so shiny and new. The lovely patio area extends the living space. We enjoyed spending our evenings outside and used the Weber bbq to grill local fish for dinner. Jan was a wonderful host. Upon our arrival he gave us a tour of the apartment and greeted us with cold beverages. He gave us time to get settled and then graciously gave us a tour of the neighbourhood, paying attention to our interests. The apartment is located within a few minutes walk of the waterfront area with shopping, restaurants, bars, grocery store, butcher and an amazing market that sells fresh fish, fruit and vegetables! We thoroughly enjoyed sharing a bottle of wine, conversation and laughter with Jan during our last evening at Cabanas de Tavira. We hope our paths will cross again one day.

L’appartement de Jan et Lena est parfait ! TrĂšs fonctionnel et lumineux. Il est Ă  quelques minutes du front de mer, de l’embarcadĂšre pour la plage et Ă  10 minutes en voiture de Tavira. La cuisine est trĂšs fonctionnelle et nous avons bien profitĂ© de la terrasse. Jan est un hĂŽte trĂšs sympathique, par ailleurs. Logement Ă  recommander !!!

Paradise in cabanas

Tolle Wohnung

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen, sie ist super schön eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht (von Kaffeemaschine ĂŒber GeschirrspĂŒler bis zur Waschmaschine) und hat viel Platz, ist sehr gemĂŒtlich und hat eine großer Terrasse. Nur wenige Meter zur Uferpromenade, eigener Parkplatz und vieles mehr. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder kommen. Der Vermieter reagiert sehr schnell auf Anfragen und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank Jan.

Lovely home and lovely town

Jan and his partner were the most amazing host and we’re kind enough to help me plan a surprise for my friend and decorated the home with balloons, which was very kind of them. The town is very quaint. The more lively town is Tavira which was a 15 minute journey. There were more option for food. You would have to be aware that transport is quite hard to come by because things finish early. It’s a great place for a slower holiday and if you are able to drive in and out of cabanas. Beach was very easy to get to and was like a 3 minute and 5 minute water taxi. All in all, wonderful experience.

Superlocatie

Na heel goed contact met Jan hebben we 3 weken mogen genieten in cabanas. Prachtige schone woning met om de hoek alle voorzieningen die nodig zijn voor een fijne vakantie. Fijne restaurants, mooi pontje om op het prachtige strand te komen(300 m) alle winkels in de buurt en een leuk boulevaardje. Het is hier gelukkig nog niet zo druk als de rest van de algarve. Geen twijfel, gewoon lekker naar toe gaan! Jan bedankt...
