Appartement de «charme» Dans le Centre Historique de Montepulciano

Magnifique appartement de charme, très romantique, ancienne demeure de l'arrière-grand-père du propriétaire, notaire à Montepulciano. Entièrement rénové récemment, très calme, situé dans un cadre exceptionnel : au cœur du centre historique de la ville, mais surplombant les remparts depuis une position dominante.
Deux chambres ravissantes et romantiques, décorées avec goût et élégamment meublées, toutes deux dotées de parquet, de magnifiques plafonds du XIXe siècle ornés de fresques et offrant une vue imprenable à 180° sur l'ensemble de la Valdichiana et le lac Trasimène.
Salon très lumineux avec poutres apparentes, lucarne électrique et carrelage.
Cuisine entièrement équipée avec four électrique et micro-ondes.
Lave-linge.
Salle de bains avec douche/hydromassage.
Téléviseur LCD. Climatisation. Chauffage. Internet Wi-Fi
Capacité d’accueil : 4 personnes (1 lit double + 2 lits simples juxtaposables) + 2 (2 canapés-lits). Accessible toute l’année.

REMARQUE : La maison et la rue en contrebas, en raison de leurs caractéristiques hautement pittoresques, ont servi de décor au tournage de certaines scènes du film « NEW MOON » (suite de « TWILIGHT ») et, plus récemment, au tournage du téléfilm « MEDICI : MASTERS OF FLORENCE » avec Dustin Hoffman et Richard Madden (tourné presque entièrement à Montepulciano et à Pienza)

Wonderful, spacious two-bedroom flat. Amazing views from the two bedrooms of Lago Trasimeno. Great location close to parking and the Conad supermarket. Easy walk to many restaurants, shops at the lower part of the city. Fernanda was a gracious host and always available to answer any questions. I would absolutely stay there again!

The charming house in Montano is truly that. It’s a historical home that has been in the family for many generations. It was an honor to stay at this home as a homebase for exploring Montalcino and the surrounding area.

Our host, Fernanda, was amazing with communication. Any time I messaged her, she responded quickly with very helpful information. . The apartment made me feel like I was a local. Loved the historic apartment building with modern amenities. Great location. I would highly recommend. Thank you Fernanda for a wonderful visit to Montepulciano.

Wonderful apartment. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Views are fantastic. Hostess was very kind and accommodated our late arrival (and provided a nice bottle of wine in the apartment). Location is great - very close to parking lots and supermarket (Conad). Would gladly stay there again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montepulciano. Everything in the town, including this apartment have a lot of age and history which is part of the charm. The highlight of this property is the phenomenal view and overall location. From the towns main entrance the property can be accessed by a 5 minute walk (because only permitted residence can drive inside the walls). The property is probably a 1 minute walk to the start of the Main Street (shops, cafes, restaurants etc). Great city and great place to stay. Would stay here again if we return to Montepulciano.

The property was beautifully done, it’s got a lot of character yet it has all the modern amenities. The pictures don’t do justice to the place, it’s spacious, has 2 bedrooms, a lounge, a dining table and a kitchen. The bedrooms opens to a beautiful view of Tuscany ideal for the sunrise coffee. The location could not be anymore handy, the 50-60m from the main gate of the city (ZTL) but we were able to get parking right outside. Fernanda, the host was amazing, she communicated everything in detail and was super helpful. The weather turned very quickly and it got hot, she provided fans upon our request. We absolutely love the old Italian charm of this property, it is an ideal place in Montepulciano, literally 20m from the Main Street.

Apartment was as close to city as possible but still a 3 block walk (uphill! But worth it!). Site is on third floor, no elevator, so challenging for older folks. Perfect location to enjoy the town! Host very gracious, even with his car accident and hospital stay on the first day, he graciously answered our communications. Amazing city and local visits to wineries, oil tasting, cheese making, and excellent restaurants. Odd hours for opening times so check each day. Apartment was historic and the ceiling frescos were stunning!

A wonderful break from a hectic trip

We were half way through a six week trip and exhausted from Roman sites and weather. This place was a wonderful, comfortable, clean, spacious, welcoming oasis to recover for the next phase of the trip. Walking the city in the morning and evening was leisurely and uncrowded with amazing views.

Wonderful apartment!

We loved this apartment in Montepulciano. Perfect location, great view of the Tuscan hillsides from the bedroom windows, very friendly and welcoming hostess, very clean. I highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay while in Tuscany

We enjoyed our week's stay in this spacious, comfortable apartment. Excellent location for exploring Tuscany. It was well equipped for cooking dinners in the apartment when we were too tired to eat out at one of many great restaurants in Montepulciano. Hope to return to Fernanda's house very soon.

Heart of Montepulciano home.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was conveniently located for parking and taking your luggage. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. It was very clean and was a great weekend. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it very much. Would recommend staying here.

Great Location

Fernanda’s place was perfect. She had a bottle of wine waiting for us. Perfect way to start our stay. She communicated so well with us. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Clean, roomy, convenient, Great shower, comfy beds, low part of Montepulciano near Porta al Prato, convenient to area sights, wonderful owners. Kitchen facilities. Need I say more?
