Comfortable stay with stunning views

Montepulciano ain't flat! But this place is charming and roomy. Only caveat is the lack of close parking, but if you're visiting this beautiful town, prepare to exercise!

Very clean, renovated apartment close to center of town. Owner allowed us to check in early and depart late. Wonderful time

Nice little apartment with an unbelievable view.

Even though it is a little difficult to access due to the fact that it is in the LTZ, that is the price you pay to stay in the quaint old section of town with unparalleled views. The unit was clean and quite comfortable. It is situated just a few minute walk from shops and restaurants and the Piazza Grande.

Amazing view from balcony, good location.

Pros: View and location, spacious and comfortable. Host allowed late check out. Cons: Communication with owner/host, WhatsApp messages were short and delayed, not too response. Host directed us to pick up keys, listed address number is 25, but pinned Google location is 23, very confusing. Person who handled the key does not speak English, but he is nice to drive us to parking at check in and check out. Only one tiny bottle of shampoo/bath gel was provided for two persons, four nights, plus a few stamp size soap.

A Comfortable, Well-Located Apartment with a Great View

This apartment is an excellent choice for anyone who wishes to stay in the historic center of Montepulciano and also enjoy a beautiful view over the Tuscan countryside. It is comfortable, and has a well equipped kitchen and updated bathroom. What makes it special is the view. During my stay, each evening there was a spectacular sunset, which could be viewed from a narrow balcony or through the balcony doors. The historic center of Montepulciano has zones which limit access by car to town residents. While there is no parking space at the apartment, I was able to leave my rental car just outside one of the old city gates, a short distance from the apartment. Anyone staying in Montepulciano, as wonderful as it is, should keep in mind it is a hilltop town with steep and narrow streets.

lovely view from balcony of this convenient apartment

The apartment was fine, plenty of room, and had the essentials stocked (coffee, EVOO). The balcony was a nice treat: a lovely place to relax and a wonderful place to see the views and enjoy the sunsets. Also very happy to have a washing machine and some detergent available. Thank you! Regarding the ZTL and communication stating “The owners will accompany you to park your car and will assist you with transporting your luggage. The owners will contact you a few days before arrival to organize arrangements.” Nope, actually, they won’t necessarily do that. I contacted the local contact the day before, and was initially told we’d need to pick the keys up outside of city center. But then the two local contacts were unavailable on our arrival day, so we were able to pick the keys up from the lockbox at the apartment, which was better. Since the local contacts were unavailable, the “help” with parking and luggage was a link to google maps for the closest free parking to the apartment.

Montepulciano property

Nothing wrong with the property. Montepulciano, great place to visit for a day but the hills are so steep it is difficult to enjoy staying there for several days.
