Loved staying here at seashore appartment .

Loved staying here at seashore appartment ..amazing views of the sea ,lovely appartment with everything you would need .lovely walks along the beach ,highly recommend the boat house to have lunch and refreshments after a lovely walk, views from the balcony are breath taking ,And very nice owners ....And a lovely welcome pack ,wine and roses ...Definitely booking again 10/10 .

Schlechte Ferienwohnung

Bereits von draussen macht die Wohnung keinen guten Eindruck. Drinnen war noch schlimmer, der Ofen war total verdreckt, staub überall and eine schlechte Ausstattung. Die Wegbeschreibung war irreführend und enthielt nicht mal die Kodenummer für den Schüsselbox, der auch nicht schriftlich erwähnt wurde. Der Verwalter, cottages.com, hat schonmal für eine andere Wohnung schlechte Arbeit geleistet. Der Urlaub ist dennoch gut gelungen, trotz grotten schlechter Ferienwohnung.

We rented the apartment for a month whilst our own house was being renovated and we couldn't have been more pleased. This was a real home from home. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise, the kitchen was incredibly well supplied and the apartment itself was well maintained & super cosy. Both Jo the owner and Sonia who came in weekly to clean, couldn't have been more accommodating. We were delighted and would recommend this apartment to visiting friends and relatives. A lovely escape to the sea with an unexpected welcome pack of provisions including wine and flowers. Having the sea view, we enjoyed a lot of our meals on the balcony. A very well equipped apartment but two minor points - no microwave and a dish drainer would have been useful as we didn't have the dishwasher on every day. As mentioned by other reviewers there are some steep steps up to the flat. But generally a good location and within walking distance of both Folkestone and Hythe. One of the neighbours had music on all of Saturday night thru to breakfast but that was the only disturbance. Overall it was a peaceful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was perfectly placed opposite the sea and had a lovely balcony! We enjoyed eating our evening meals on the balcony while looking at the sea. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and a travel cot and highchair was also arranged as requested. It was a nice mini break by the sea! This apartment is great for couples.

This apartment is great for couples. It has a pleasant view of the channel and on a clear day you can see France - it's on the beach front so swimming is easy but the beach is pebble and not sand. It's conveniently located for exploring the local area - Dover/Canterbury are in easy reach - if you enjoy wildlife I would recommend the Dover Sea Safari to get a good view of seals in the river Stour. Folkestone has some great seafood ranging from a seafood stall to Rocksalt. The apartment was very clean. It's one of a group of flats in a building and all other flats are owner occupied. Noise was not a problem and when I saw a neighbour they did check to make sure they were not being too noisy. There are just a couple of minor downsides the kitchen has a cooker/large fridge freezer but a microwave would be handy. The owner is working on the other minor issue which is that the shower is an open shower in the bathroom and the water easily flows round the side of the shower. Parking is on the street which was generally fine but once it was busy we had to drive along a side road. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Excellent Find The weather was poor yet we had the best time, the apartment was very clean and welcoming, location was perfect, 3 minute walk and your in the town, miles of beach to walk along (pebbled not sand) with pet friendly and welcoming pubs on the way, the welcoming pack and little personal touches left for us was the icing on the cake. defo looking to book again in the spring.

The apartment was outstanding.

The apartment was outstanding. View of sea; breakfast on the balcony it was a big surprise! However, L/L's entrance is not the usual start and parking not straight forward. Our Standard poodle (no hairs) enjoyed the MOD paths - thank you & your host has kept this place in very good condition.

Short stay in Sandgate

Had a good stay in this charming flat. The building was below standard, but the flat itself was perfect and there were a lot of little touches - wine in the fridge on arrival being the main one! Not really suitable for pets as no outside space and no access to beach during summer period, but we managed and would definately stay again, but without the dogs.
