Sea Spray is a gorgeous, clean and beautifully presented cottage with the most fabulous view. We did pop along to Hythe (you can walk or catch a bus from just outside) but all we really wanted to do was stare at the sea! A perfect weekend break in the sun!

A Wonderful Place To Stay

Sea Spay is simply a fabulous place to stay. The location is perfect, with unrivalled views across the Channel from the cottage and its lovely patio. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well equipped, with a stylish nautical theme throughout. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, including cushions and blankets for sitting outside and enjoying the sea views. Even the powerful shower has a wonderful view out to sea! There was plenty of helpful information about the local area, too. It is the perfect place either to relax and enjoy the immediate surroundings or to use as a base for exploring other parts of Kent. My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Holiday at Sandgate

We loved to be in the Seaspray cottage. A cosy house with fantastic seaview! An excellent place from where you can visit all the nice places in Kent. We would really recommend it to others.

Lovely stay by the sea

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage in Sandgate. It had everything we needed and felt well set up from the moment we arrived. The bed was very comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out. The highlight is the view. Looking out over the sea is genuinely special, and if you leave the bedroom window open at night you can hear the waves, which is a nice touch. Worth noting there is a main road at the front of the house, but the back opens out to the sea, so you still get that calm, coastal feel where it matters. Overall, a great place to stay. Comfortable, well equipped, and in a brilliant spot by the sea.

The Location Is To Die For - You Will Not Want to Leave!!

Beautiful cottage, everything you need. The owner & Bloom Stays have thought of everything! Some lovely welcoming touches to welcome us which was fabulous. The Location is everything. Sandgate has some lovely little shops, restaurants, pubs and bars. We loved it so much sitting listening to the waves, relaxing & de stressing we did not want to leave, I would have liked a sofa bed to take advantage of the sea view, that would make it even better & a zip & link bed in 2nd bedroom as not everyone has kids & needs a twin room.

Sea Spray Cottage

Very lovely cottage....beautifully and thoughtfully appointed....kitchen equipped well...sea view immediately on entry right from front door. Practical layout, cosy and warm, near to amenities, right on the sea front. We had a relaxing time (and bracing in the coastal February wet weather!) Intend to return!

Excellent stay

We had a really lovely stay at Sea Spray Cottage. Beautiful location, right on the beach, where you can wake up looking at the sea. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. Loved it and will be back.

Excellent week

A very well equipped cottage in a lovely location. Attractively styled with comfortable beds and seating and we would stay again. We appreciated finding a comprehensive file containing all information on the locality and instruction manuals. Two small issues could be improved - the draught under the front door and the height of the TV.

Sea Spray Cottage - lovely stay

We enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful holiday cottage in a superb location midway between Folkestone and Hythe. It was decorated nicely, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. There were thoughtful provisions for our little dog and a lovely welcome hamper for us. The sea views are stupendous. Just be mindful it is on a busy road and although double glazed there is some residual traffic noise. Handy for the regular buses in either direction and well placed for promenade walks. If arriving without a car like us we would recommend supermarket home delivery, there is a little convenience shop, some cafe and a couple of deli a short walk away, opening hours vary.

Beautiful stay right next to the sea

We had a wonderful week at Sea Spray Cottage – so much so that my daughter made me promise we would come back again. The view from the master bedroom is breathtaking. Even when the weather is rough, you can sit on the window seat with a book and watch the sea. Being so close to the sea – something we had never experienced before – was incredibly calming. We are usually quite an active family when we are on holiday, always trying to see and do as much as possible. However, things were different in Sandgate. We spent an entire day at our home away from home, either on the beach or in the cottage, playing games, reading, and simply relaxing before heading to one of the local pubs for a pint. Sandgate is a lovely little place with characterful pubs, excellent restaurants, and charming cafés. The only minor drawback was deciding who would get to enjoy the incredible sea view of the beautiful master bedroom. The second bedroom is also very cosy, but it faces the road and, unfortunately, traffic noise is quite noticeable. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing to fault. The welcome gifts and the provisions left for us in the kitchen were a very thoughtful touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Sea Spray Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing seaside getaway.

Pleasant time with friends

Lovely cottage. Right on the seafront. Everything we needed. Weather was not great so we were in more than intended. But very comfy set up for just hanging with friends. We had a lovely weekend. My only concern were the floors were very slippy and would possible not recommend for anyone less able
