Cairngorms Flower Lodge

This Lodge is located in The Aviemore Holiday Park, right in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. At this prime location, you are only 5-minute walk from all amenities and from the centre of Aviemore, which hosts a great selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and the main train station and bus terminal.

You can enjoy the home comfort after a long day out of exploring rolling hillsides, charming villages, leafy woodland or any other outdoor activities including walks, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, cycling, water sports, golfing, horse riding and karting.

The home has 2 bedrooms and is fully furnished with everything you will need for your self-catering holiday. It is fully insulated with double glazing & gas central heating throughout providing modern, warm accommodation all year round.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with a bath tub. The second bedroom has twin single beds. There is also a separate family WC/Shower room for convenient use.

The lodge comprises a comfortable modern open plan kitchen/dining /lounge with French doors leading out to a private decking area to front and side where you can enjoy the stunning mountain views and also enjoy the sunshine in most days.

Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, including a cooker with oven and grill, an integrated microwave, built-in dishwasher and fridge/freezer and is fully equipped with various items for all what you need for your stay.
Separate dining area with a table and 4 chairs.

Open plan living area is equipped with a 43” flat screen digital HD TV, HD Freeview and a DVD player.

Please note that the lodge is non-smoking and no pets are allowed.

We also do not accept Hen/Stag parties or Events.

Very clean throughout and more roomy than most lodges/statics I have been to. Its a tiny 5 min walk into town and free fishing on the river! Kitchen is good and useful.Only issues we had were the showers. Both are powerful add warm bit the shared one holder doesn't work so it needs to be constantly held whilst in use. And the ensuite drain is very slow draining and after a minute you are 1 inch in water and increasing.DVD player needs upgraded as poor quality on TV but not factoring that into my stars as wasn't there for dvds.

Nice and fairly quiet location. Pleasant places to walk nearby. Unit was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. No WiFi available at the time of our stay, but there were just enough bars on the mobile to stay in touch. Check-in instructions were complete and we did not need to reach out to the host for any issues.

The accommodation was lovely, excellent location, the windows/doors could have done with a clean, a dust of the cobwebs on the ceiling and the thing that let it down at bit was the towels in the en-suite room were less than fresh and I hadn’t taken my own.

Great location!

Close to some beautiful hikes, loved the Cairngorm Reindeer tour (highly recommend), and we were super happy with the quick responses by the owner to my numerous questions!

Overall we had a good, comfortable stay. The lodge felt clean ( although a couple of towels and the bedding in the main bedroom smelt mildly of damp). The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was lovely and strong. We dropped a star because of inaccurate listing which said that WiFi was included. Just before arrival, we were sent a welcome document that stated that the WiFi was broken and was no longer available, however when we arrived, wifi popped up. When we asked for the password we were informed that this was an additional surcharge. This was not reflected anywhere on the listing at the time we booked, nor at the time of our stay. This was only updated after I contacted the host to insist this was updated.

Ideal location for local amenities, activities, transport links and hiking. We saw 4 toads, a deer, a frog, various dragonflies, mayflies, butterflies and 2 red squirrels all within the the area near the lodge.Check in was easy.

Our group was two married couples all about 60 years old. We stayed one night and all was exactly as stated in the online description and personal instructions. It was very clean and well stocked with essentials. We would definitely stay there again.
