The caravan was clean and had what we needed for our stay. I could not find the number of the chalet we booked in any of the information I was sent. Ian was easy to contact and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the town of Aviemore had a lot to offer.

Caravan was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. The host Ian kept in touch and provided the info we needed for our stay and also checked we had arrived and that everything was ok for us. Cannot fault this in any way and would absolutely recommend it, excellent location for a 10 min walk into the centre of A iemore

Comfortable, clean and accurate description of amenities, close to town. I think the location was a black hole for my e SIM card - very poor reception, so property could be improved if it offered wifi as that may have helped my problem.

We enjoyed our stay. The setting is lovely and very convenient to shopping in Aviemore and to the Cairngorms National Park.Our only issue was the laundry room was closed.

Perfect

We had a great stay, everything was great. Couldn’t fault the lodge at all. Really peaceful site with an easy walk to the shops/restaurants etc. activity centre close by and surrounded by stunning walking paths.

The twin room we found was not suitable for adults, there was insufficient towels and only one dishtowel an no hand towel in kitchen the on suite bathroom was adequate but very small and low sink which made it difficult to wash and brush teeth. there was only the one bin I would have liked waste paper bin in bedroom and bathrooms . The freezer still had food n it and a bag of ice which had spilled out and ice cubes were stuck to the shelf also pot bottoms were burnt and not cleaned properly. As a retired cleaner of holiday lets I would have not got away with this.

Thank you for your review. The twin bedroom is tight and best suited to children but many adults have managed just fine. You should have realised this before you booked. There should have been a hand towel in the kitchen and I apologise if this was missing. The hand wash basins in the toilets are small but adequate for hand washing and brushing teeth and, again you should have known this It's totally false that food was left in the freezer as its always checked and any food left is removed. True, there was a bag of ice cubes left in the freezer that should have been removed. I supply bath towels for 4 guests and they are not intended to clean up faecal matter from one of your party's bowel accident 3 towels a sheet and mattress protector had to be disposed of (expect a damages claim for said items). The cleaners arrived to a disgusting smell and mess (faecal matter splattered over toilet and sink). As your a retired cleaner of holiday lets, were you happy to leave the place in such a mess? It's not in the cleaners remit to wash pots and pans as that covered in the terms and conditions that guests are responsible for washing these after using them. I apologise that previous guests have not done so properly and your comments have been noted. Please, in future, book a holiday cottage as static caravans are not too your liking.

Fantastic chalet in a beautiful location

Very clean, warm place with cracking views. The host was very friendly. Aviemore has lots of facilities and is a great base for walking and outdoor activities.

Great short break.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in aviemore. Great central base within walking distance of the town and eateries. Quiet site. Accommodation clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. Lots to see and do in surrounding areas. Would return to the accommodation in future.

Fantastic Aviemore

Ian was an incredible host, with great communication leading up to and during our stay. Our accommodation was the perfect place to return to after a day of exploring Aviemore and the Cairngorms, being warm, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Can't wait to return.

Very homely comfortable stay

Had a wonderful stay. Very comfortable, clean and tidy. Well stocked with everything you would require for a stay there. Set in a perfect location, within walking distance of Aviemore. The park itself is well situated, quiet and well kept. Having been coming to Aviemore regularly for 30 years I will definitely be back to this accommodation.

Perfect location

Wonderful short weekend break at the property to round off our Scotland road trip. Property well equipped, warm and cosy although weather was generally good. Location is so peaceful and feels rural while having all Aviemore has to offer just a short walk away and the excellent Old Bridge Inn on the doorstep. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wished it was for a few more days.

Perfect location

This chalet is in a perfect location to explore Aviemore and the surrounding area. The chalet was spotless and very well equipped. It’s much bigger than we were expecting. The site is very peaceful and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a fantastic pub. Highly recommended!
