Récompense toi! Faites une pause à la cabine de Clara dans les magnifiques bois de pins

Ceci est une jolie petite cabine de deux chambres dans le magnifique East Texas. Il y a des vues sur la forêt de feuillus sur trois côtés avec un pâturage au sud de Clara's Cabin. Il est isolé du reste de la propriété et est baigné de lumière naturelle par les grandes fenêtres. Les portes sont de style colonial espagnol antique avec des charnières forgées à la main. Comme à Gus's Place, nous avons de magnifiques vitraux créés par l'artiste verrier de renommée régionale, Pat Williams. Je pense que vous allez adorer les touches artistiques très spéciales de cette maison.
Un bain à remous est blotti dans une niche dans les bois. La passerelle à partir de là vous mènera au porche arrière et le gril au propane est toujours prêt pour vos propres créations gastronomiques.
Vraiment un endroit pour s'évader et se détendre.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would give this property more than 5 stars if we could! The location was perfect, and the directions provided were spot on, making arrival completely stress-free.The home itself was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean—it truly felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our stay in Clara's cabin was beyond perfect! Marcia, (our host) created a cabin that is so much more than welcoming, comfortable & immaculately clean; it is beautifully & artfully decorated with Charming touches & custom finishes throughout. The garden & outside area had everything we could want to enjoy a fun & restful weekend (even though it was raining!); Built in grill & fire pit, a pergola, rocking chairs on the covered front porch. Our stay was a delight in every sense & we felt so cared for with all thoughtful touches. It felt like we were staying in the home of a creative & caring friend! Thank you so very much; We are already planning our next visit!

Beautiful location outside of the city, incredibly peaceful and quiet. Cabin is beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable w Temperpedic mattress. I stayed there the weekend my daughter was getting married in Nac so it had even more meaning for the need for peace, quiet, serenity. Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a getaway from the city.

We had the best weekend at Clara’s cabin. The house is lovely and in a perfect location that feels remote but still super close to Main Street and the heart of Nacogdoches. Marcia was attentive, understanding, and very easy to communicate with. The house is truly stunning and came equipped with everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Clara’s cabin was a wonderful family getaway and the host was great

We came down to visit our daughter at SFA and wanted something different. We love the peacefulness of the location with all the modern amenities. It was beautifully decorated with a southwest theme. Clara’s cabin was a great place for our family to getaway and relax.

Absolutely lovely cabin with carefully curated finishes and furnishings. Everything from the entry doors, the bathroom countertops, the custom slab bathroom floor, to the carved wood chairs was perfecly selected. Clean, comfortable and cozy, in a secluded setting. The cabin was beautiful and uniquely decorated. We enjoyed all of the windows that let in the natural light and the fireplace made it very cozy and relaxing in the evenings. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We escaped from busy, busy Dallas to Nacogdoches in 1984. Wanted to raise our 3 kids here in this wonderful little town and were glad that we did. We thought about moving to Austin when they went off to college but found this wonderful property and happily stayed.
We have turned the original 1865 homeplace, Gus's Place, into a wonderful little vacation rental. We also added a large barn with an apartment, a pool kitchen and we have great areas to allow for large parties or reunions.
"Gus" was so busy that we decided to bring "Clara's Cabin" into the picture. While not as historic as ole "Gus", it is just as charming and decorated with wonderful art and artifacts from that period. Clara's Cabin is set in an area that is easily accessible to our guests who stay there yet very private.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

IF you love fishing and want to come home with a boat full of fish...let us know and we will line you up with an outstanding professional fisherman/ER nurse, Super nice fellow. Knows where ALL the fish live and is just the finest person you could meet. In the winter months, I do Raku firings from time to time and kiln openings when the kiln has been fired and is ready to unload. There are some other amenities that we can offer....Just ask....Kids LOVE It out here!
