Alburg Lake House - avec cinq kayaks

La maison toute l'année avec le bord de l'eau à seulement 25 pieds de la maison. Le porche est 10x20 et est à la fois tamisé et vitré avec une balançoire. Le reste de la véranda est laissée ouverte au soleil et a construit dans les bancs et un barbecue au gaz. Cinq kayaks fournis. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec un coin repas. La cour a une surface plane pour les jeux et une table de pique-nique. Trois salles de bain complètes. Le salon et une chambre à coucher ont planchers de bois franc, tapis et les carreaux sont ailleurs. Nous sommes confrontés directement au sud sur la partie large du lac Champlain en regardant vers fond de lac Isle La Motte .Le est généralement de sable. C'est un endroit idéal pour les familles.

Anne’s Lake House was absolutely perfect for our family (4 kids and my wife)! The beach area was better than we thought and we spent many days/nights down there. We will definitely be coming back!

You'll want to live on the porch!

Very sweet spot, easy access to the lake, and it was wonderful having so many kayaks. The screened in porch offers great views and is very roomy. Lots of room with so many beds and bedrooms, and a bakery within walking distance/very short drive. It was the perfect spot for a celebratory weekend with friends and family.

We had a great time although water was too high and not easy access to get in and no dock but due to all the rain we knew that this could be an issue. We had a great time and plenty of room.

Lovely visit, thanks!

We had 3 toddlers, 4 adults, and had a wonderful time. We played on the lawn, used the TV for disney on a rainy day, went out in kayaks and went fishing in our own jon boat on the lake. We also went to Alburg Dunes State Park for swimming and a day trip. Thanks Anne, we had a great time!

House was very nice, lots of room right on the lake. Ice wasn’t the best do to the warm temps but we had fun fishing.

House was more than we needed for just the 2 of us, but very well appointed. Great place for large families and/or hunting/fishing groups. Location was great. Nice, quiet area. We wandered in Vermont and New York and enjoyed the Autumn color. Lake was low, and it was very windy, so we never ventured out in the kayaks. We did enjoy time in the back porch, and the wonderful sunsets and moon rises over the water. Beautiful. Excellent little hidden restaurant less than 20 minutes away in Champlain called Mahoney's Hideaway. We passed it 3x before finding it. Highly recommend making the effort. It's back there! Great food and very friendly owner and staff. Excellent Halloween decorations!

Lake Life!

This was a great spot for our yearly VT vacation. Even with the lake level really high, we could still get into the water at the house. Lots of cookware for meals so that was nice. Within an hour of both Montreal and Burlington. The host was quick in getting back to us when we had questions. The screened in porch was a popular spot for us to linger. No washer/dryer, but the local laundromat was within 5 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had an incredible week at the lake house. My fiancé’s mother, teenage nephew, brother and sister in-law joined us. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone and everything was very clean. The view is spectacular. The kayaks were a huge draw for our group. We were able to get out on the water almost every day. The house is on a dead end, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The screened in porch was amazing. I think we probably spent the majority of our time on that porch, and down at the beach or on the water. There was plenty of room for lawn games as well. We all had an enjoyable and relaxing time at the lake. The host, Anne, was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely return to Anne’s home on the lake.

Peaceful and homey

There were more beds than the listing said which would have allowed us to have our whole family stay here instead of getting two separate rentals. Which was a bit frustrating but other than that, we had plenty of room, enjoyed all the seating and space. We made lots of happy memories and my kids have already requested that we stay here again when we come to visit my parents next time. It’s not glamorous and the cleaning list is relatively lengthy for the cleaning fee that was charged.

Thanks very much for your review! I will expain a few things in your comments. We limit the number of Folks that can come to our house because we are on a septic system. We have never had a problem, and we never want one. I do not charge a cleaning fee unless unless someone does not follow the checkout list. The checkout list is available ahead of time if you would like to see it. This saves you the $150 cleaning fee which is what it would cost for me to hire help. I hope this helps. Anne

We enjoyed our stay at Anne's lakefront home on the lake. The views were great and the access to boat launches were close for our fishing trips. The accomadations were as described. Great communication with Anne to set up the rental.

Amazing View

My family enjoyed our week at Anne’s home. The screened in porch was our favorite spot to eat our meals and watch the lake. The lake is shallow for a long way which was nice for my youngest and we all enjoyed kayaking and playing in the lake. The boys went fishing a few days from the kayaks deeper in the lake and caught a few fish. Sunsets from the dock are breath taking!
