Cette maison de vacances orientée maison front de mer North Hero est situé à l'extrémité d'un chemin privé. Grande cour arrière avec plusieurs pommiers et les espaces ouverts.

S'il vous plaît consulter nos autres biens Lakefront à HomeAway # 135449 ou VRBO # 400957. Nous louons depuis 2006.

La maison a été conçue à l'intérieur pour ressembler à une maison de poteaux et à poutres. Les murs et les plafonds sont tous des planches de pin. Grandes poutres englobent la grande salle, cuisine, véranda et terrasse couverte. La grande salle a un bar tiki et la coutume de table de la salle à manger de pin avec les jambes cèdre.

Les planchers sont réalisés en bambou, planches de pin larges, tuiles d'ardoise et vieille tuile de conception en bois.

stockage de lancement et de remorques de bateau: Le lancement de bateau est une rampe de lancement de campagne commune sur la propriété.
La facilité d'utilisation est basée sur le lac condtions, taille de votre bateau, remorque et le véhicule utilisé pour le lancement.

Si vous cherchez à pêcher de la rive, vous trouverez une abondance de crapet, la perche, le crapet de roche, crappies et une basse occasionnelle ou le nord. Pour ceux qui cherchent à kayak ou en canot la zone est bien protégé du vent et de la faune est abondante!

Si vous cherchez à prendre votre bateau pour le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner ou le dîner il y a des restaurants sur l'eau. Il y a aussi deux ports de plaisance à proximité.

We had a wonderful two weeks on the lake with family and friends. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Communication with Larry was great, we even got to see him take off in his float plane. Caught a bunch of really nice smallmouth, pike, and lake trout. Even got 2 monster bowfin off the dock. We will be back again!

Thank you for your feedback! The very large leather sofa is a plush-style sofa design with softer cushions for comfort, which can give the cushions a more relaxed appearance. The host was fantastic, the house was beautiful. We had a week of relaxing, coffees on the dock, fishing, fires, shooting stars, and incredible storms we could enjoy on the large decks. Our biggest upset was the inability to swim. Not the owners fault at all and we understand that. We wish we had known about all the slime and see weed. The listing notes swimming but doesn’t mention August is not a good water month. The other thing we didn’t realize we’d be sharing the property with other people. They had a boat so parked their trailer on “our side” blocking our view of the water. The house has everything you need for your time away. It’s a great spot if you don’t want to swim.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the large decks, campfires, shooting stars, incredible storm, and everything the home has to offer. We’re sorry the lake conditions affected your ability to swim. Unfortunately, your week coincided with a very unusual combination of prolonged heat, drought, and a major storm that blew a significant amount of weeds into our shoreline. We have not experienced water conditions like those during your week for many years. In fact, people were swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and water skiing both before and after your stay, so the conditions you experienced were certainly not typical. When unusual weather creates conditions like these at our property, they generally affect this entire portion of the lake rather than just our shoreline. We would also like to clarify the comment about sharing the property. The house and property are private and are not shared with other guests. The only shared area is the boat launch that divides our property from the neighboring property and provides access for both properties. We agree that the neighbor’s boat trailer should not have been parked where it interfered with your waterfront view, and we will address that going forward. One of the things that makes this property particularly special is its privacy. On the east side of the home, the shoreline continues for approximately a mile before reaching another house. It is difficult to find this combination of privacy, waterfront, expansive decks, boating access, and views on Lake Champlain, along with paddle boarding and kayak access to approximately a mile of undeveloped shoreline. In addition, there are two public sandy beaches within approximately 15–25 minutes, as well as multiple state parks on the water nearby. We appreciate your comments and are happy you found the house well equipped and enjoyed the beautiful setting. We hope the campfires, shooting stars, storm, and Vermont evenings provided some wonderful memories. Additional Note: Please see the last two photos on our VRBO website showing the waterfront conditions on August 16, just one day after your departure. These photos show a large area, not just a close-up of a specific spot.

We loved everything about the camp and grounds. Our only disappointment was that you are not allowed to have more than 2 day guests. We were hoping for a family barbeque for relatives who live in the area.

We do allow two day guest as you mention. This allows 10 people on the property. With this property being one of the premiere properties in the area, there would be a constant crowd of people at the property if we didn’t have this policy. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home on Lake Champlain. The sun rises and sun sets were incredible. The fishing was great and the lake was warm enough for swimming. The owner of the property was gracious and cordial. The home is very spacious and can accommodate a large family/group.

Beautiful property and home!

I stayed here with my family for a week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The views of the lake are far more beautiful than the pictures show! The property is gorgeous, and the home is clean with plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the dock area and deck most of all. The homeowners were communicative and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location and host.

The house is great. Rooms spacious. The kitchen, dining, & relax area are on1 floor. Comfortable bedrooms are below and quite lovely. There is a bunk room on the 3rd floor, but we didn't have children with us on this trip.

Great House on the Lake

This home is spacious and quiet with all the amenities. It is located on the lake with few other houses. We spent much of our time on the large decks watching the lake and the ever changing sky. The house itself has good sized bedrooms and a large kitchen that opens onto a dinning/living room. There is a cute bar set up in the living room as well. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and biking. We fully recommend this home & location for a lovely Lake Champlain get away.

Paradise on the lake!!!

So much more that we expected!! The house has so much space, great location, beautiful views and property. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and a large pantry to store the essentials. The showers had great water pressure which is always a plus. The bar area added a nice space to serve drinks of your choice! Larry and Mary were wonderful to deal with and very responsive . We will definitely be looking to go back!!

You know those vacation properties where you get there and the house isn't half as nice as the pictures looked? Or the grill doesn't work and the owner is nowhere to be found? Well this is definitely NOT that property! The house was amazing, every bit as beautiful as the photos, the location perfect, and the owners made themselves available throughout the booking and our stay to answer all.of our questions. Top notch property, great hosts, a wonderful vacation!

AWESOME WEEK

WE RENTED BOTH HOUSES, HAD 11 MEN FOR 4 DAYS FOLLOWED BY 4 COUPLES FOR THE REMAINING 3 DAYS AND BETWEEN BOTH HOMES THERE WAS PLENTY OF SPACE AND HAVING A BOAT RAMP ON PROPERTY WAS EXCELLENT AND GOOD DOCKS. WE WILL BE RETURNING FOR SURE! THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS THE AC IN THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOM WOULD NOT KEEP UP, COULDN'T GET IT BELOW 81 DEGREES SO NO ONE COULD SLEEP UPSTAIRS.

Todd, Thanks for the input! Appreciate you letting us know about the AC unit that had failed. It was replaced with a new oversized capacity AC unit. The dock and boat launch does add a great enhancement to the property. There are few properties that offer this in town.

Mary is a retired school teacher. I'm a retired airline pilot who flew B-787, DC-10, B-767, B757, B727 & MD80 in the USA, Caribbean, Central & South America, Pacific and Atlantic routes.

I'm also an avid Sea Plane pilot and own one. We explore remote locations and waterfront lodges and restaurants with it.

We also enjoy boating on Lake Champlain and the Gulf Coast of Florida.

When we vacation we usually rent homes that we find through Homeaway. This has allowed us to be on both sides of renting a vacation home for a week. We have tried to add and design what we would want into our vacation homes. Please check out our other property which is listed in the notes. #135449

Boat launch & protected part of the lake adds to the attractiveness of the property. Wildlife in many different forms completes this waterfront setting.
