Soyez prĂȘt Ă  vous dĂ©tendre sur l'eau - n'hĂ©sitez pas Ă  utiliser le canoĂ«, le kayak, le paddle-board, l'attirail de pĂȘche, l'Ăźle flottante, la planche Ă  coque, les skis nautiques et les tubes. Massive dock - l'un des plus grands sur le lac. RĂ©frigĂ©rateur pour votre utilisation dans le bateau-maison. Un ascenseur Ă  bateaux et un Ă©lĂ©vateur Ă  jet d'Ă©nergie sont disponibles sur demande si vous apportez votre propre bateau ou si vous amarres simplement sur le quai. Enjoyed our stay. From a geo-location perspective, it's really special. The mid-range views of the lake were spectacular and it's really nice and quiet. Inside the house, there are a lot of amenities. You will likely find something to do or what you need. It's a large home with lots of space. I believe the target demographic for this house is either a large family or multiple families. The house is showing it's age with LOTS of wear and tear. Access to the lake was good and the dock is a key feature along with the provided canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards. If you are looking for a newer home that is on the 'chic' side, this is NOT the property for you. If you have a large number of people, especially kids, and are looking for a property, this might be the one. The property manager(s) are excellent. Very quick to respond to questions or concerns.

Nice lake house!

House is perfect for larger families or groups! Plenty of amenities and a great dock to fish off of. Pretty view, and very easy to access the property. Not too far from Danville, Roxboro or VIR. Since no house is perfect
.the batteries in the remote for the TV need to be replaced. LOL. Other than that
house was perfect! Thank you!

Wonderful getaway

Even though it was February, this house was peaceful, beautiful, clean. It had everything you could need for cooking. A lot of extra linens, towels etc. The stove and the refrigerator are really great. And the owner is super communicative.

Excellent!

This was our second time renting this house, we love everything about it. It's so peaceful and beautiful. The kids love going fishing and kayaking. The house has plenty of space for our large family and lots to do inside as well.

Very nice home

We had a nice time up on the lake in between competing at VIR just a few minutes down the road. House was clean, large enough to fit our 8 team and crew, and provided us with some quiet time fishing off the dock. Host is very responsive to any issues/ requests.

Amazing!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this house. The lake is amazing, my kids loved fishing, caught some bass and catfish, and they loved going out on the kayaks. The house was clean and spacious with everything we needed supplied. The owner was very nice. We made really great memories here and would love to come back again, I would highly recommend this place!

Thanksgiving 2023

The property was really nice! Had activities for all ages of our family no one was bored! This has had literally everything you need and so much more! We only left to make store runs or go to the event we came to Leasburg for. Created so many memories for both the kids and adults.

Review

The house is great, there is a thing with the water getting a sulfur smell but the owner said to let water run for awhile and it fixed it on up and we didn’t have any more problems during our stay.

One of the best getaway in NC

This was one of most fantastic and fun stay we had, especially during this pandemic time. We were a group of three families with kids and it was a refreshing outing for all of us. Host Andy and Jeremy were very responsive and helpful. Property is very good and a great weekend stay. Overall inside the house was very clean though outside sitting areas need a power wash. We will prefer to come back here again.

Great space in this house to accommodate large groups with ample rooms for comfort and sleeping space. Activities for everyone with the generous recreational amenities provided. Gorgeous dock and view with great space for enjoying life on the lake. Patio and large deck with great views of lake and easy outdoor entertaining. The owner is a pleasure to rent from with quick responses and customer service to ensure a wonderful stay. Would definitely rent this home again!!

Off the grid and quiet

A very lovely home. Very comfortable. It wasn’t as clean as we expected and we ended up having to clean some gross things (bathtubs, found a dirty diaper covered in bugs) and it was very cobwebby, lots of spiders but I’m sure that’s just life on the lake. It was a peaceful and quiet spot on a lovely lake. There was mostly no internet and no cell service (not the fault of the homeowner). It was really a nice spot.

The house, location, water toys, fishing were all great. The 70 year old and the six year and everyone in between had a good time. The downstairs was a great play area . Areas for improvement are the driveway, the upstairs oven and the tv. The driveway has to be less steep, the oven needs to be fixed so that it will turn off, and a tv that cannot have football on Saturday is worthless. It was had to keep the downstairs cool. We will probably be back.

Beautiful Lakeside Property!

We spent 4 days here as a family to enjoy the lake and celebrate a birthday and it was just wonderful. The house is beautiful and well accommodated, the manager is communicative and the lake is wonderful. While we didn't rent the pontoon, we did go out on the canoe a few times which was a blast, and the quiet setting make for some peaceful relaxation. There were a lot of spiders! but this is common for a lake side property, just bring some gloves and do a sweep of the house when you arrive! I'd also recommend bringing your own TP! Overall, wonder home, wonderful lake and we couldn't really have asked for more. Looking forward to a return visit!

great home! gracious host---plenty of room on the dock...

home is very comfortable---owner shares all of his lake toys except for his boat!---paddle boards, canoe, kayaks---likejackets-----very gracious owner---huge dock---plenty of deck space and docking for several boats-----we so enjoyed the eve. playing old lp's while making dinner---my kids have never experienced a turntable---he has many records that a 40 something couple could relate to ..--satellite t.v.---bunches of movies to choose from.....home is very comfortable---plenty of towels....owner opens up the home as if he were there with you------we stayed during the week for a few nights and had the lake to ourselves....thanks Andy, we'll call you when we can return to hyco......jm--elon n.c.--

Entertaining Lake Home- needs TLC

Best part of house 
. is the lake! Dock and water toys are a much welcomed addition to house. Believe me when I say- You WANT to spend majority of your time enjoying the environment outside. We rented boat from NC Marine for the week. Highly recommend using them. We enjoyed the house to gather in for meals. House needs a good deep clean & washing. The showers and baths are being over looked by cleaning company. Fortunately, we lived close enough to lake that we opted to drive home and shower. We left house better than we found it. (Which I always recommend doing as a guest.) I’d recommend bringing your own pillows and blankets. AND most importantly Get outside & don’t forget your shower shoes! 😉.

We are soon-to-be empty nesters with three kids in/starting college and one kid off payroll with children of her own out of state. Love the Hyco house but will not be able to spend as much time there as we would like. Our "work and school" home is only 45 miles away - not a bad car ride and actually not an awful bike ride either - so we're up at the house regularly for projects and maintenance (there's a lot of lawn to mow) but have had to hustle home before we could get much running, biking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, grilling or relaxing in; hoping you can do it for us.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We fell in love with our lake-home the second we started pulling down the circular driveway and saw how the home and lake merge together to give a perfect, unrestricted view almost as far as the eye can see. There are not many houses on the lake that can comfortably accommodate a family as large as ours. The dock being one of the largest on the lake (not allowed to build them as large anymore) is an added perk and allows us to enjoy the water to the fullest.

One of the largest docs on the lake located on a unique bend. House and dock have a very relaxing view of the water. We provide plenty of toys to make the stay truly worthwhile.
