Ma maison est à quelques pas de la salle de dégustation d'Indian Rock Vineyards et à une promenade agréable de 1,5 km jusqu'à Main Street in Murphys où vous trouverez une dégustation de vin sans prétention, d'excellents restaurants, des pizzas à croûte mince à la nouvelle cuisine californienne. à la vie, des achats exceptionnels pour tous les budgets et de grandes opportunités d'antiquités. Un peu plus loin, vous pourrez profiter de grottes, de tyroliennes, de randonnées, de kayak, de ski, de raquette ainsi que de nombreux sentiers de randonnée, dont le parc d'État de Calaveras Big Trees avec ses célèbres et majestueux séquoias ou…

Restez dans votre peignoir et vos pantoufles et détendez-vous sur le pont arrière avec une vue paisible sur les bois. Profitez de la vie des oiseaux locaux en visitant les nombreux mangeoires. Détendez-vous avec un verre de vin, un bon livre ou rassemblez tout le monde pour regarder un film dans la tanière confortable.

Ma maison est entièrement équipée de commodités modernes pour assurer votre confort et votre plaisir, y compris une cuisine équipée pour cuisiner, un four micro-ondes, un lave-vaisselle, une laveuse et une sécheuse, une télévision avec câble et une connexion WIFI gratuite.

La chambre principale donne sur la belle terrasse et comprend un lit king size et une salle de bain privée complète. La deuxième chambre a également un lit king size et un bureau pour travailler à distance et est adjacente à une salle de bain complète couloir.

La cuisine, la salle à manger et la salle de divertissement sont reliées, ce qui en fait une excellente occasion de prendre un repas, de passer une soirée cinéma ou de jouer à des jeux de société.

Perfect location!

We attended an event at the Ironstone Amphitheater and this place was less than 10 min away. It is such a cute and cozy place with everything we needed. We enjoyed our coffee on the back deck in the morning and a family of wild turkeys visited...it was awesome.

Great little family home

Quick stay but perfect for what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy coffee and lunch on the back patio. Wonderful owner with quick response to questions. Would definitely stay again.

Our Two Cents

We knew the location was perfect as we stayed nearby previously. The entry system is great and the home was very clean and tidy inside. Plenty of room for four adults and separate baths is a plus. Beds comfortable, appliances in good working order, sufficient supply of cookware and other basics. For the home interior, other than some outdated and below par furnishings the only negative we offer is the poor taste of decor in the secondary bathroom with skulls everywhere you look. The backyard deck is spacious and serene and great for gathering and relaxing under the trees. However, some attention should be given to properly preparing this area for guests. Very dirty and unwelcoming. A little TLC and simple upgrades would make this area fantastic. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay, would visit again and recommend it to others.

Almost perfect - but...

Every aspect of the rental was perfect. Unfortunately, the adjacent neighbor down the street is inconsiderate and let their dog bark starting at 6:30 a.m. daily. Perhaps Jennifer can speak with her neighbor.

Very pleasant peaceful setting area

We had five adults. The house was very roomy and clean. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped We enjoyed the large deck, birds and wild life. Very peaceful area. We were there for wine tasting and chilling out. Great Getaway. The host was very good at communicating.

Amazing getaway spot

We had such a great time here! The location tends to be below the snow line, but getting to snow is a quick drive away. This location is surrounded by wineries and nature, and is very close to downtown Murphys with its cute shops. We loved the house itself too. Very spacious for three people with comfortable beds and a cozy fireplace. Staying here was such a great experience!

Family Snow Trip

My husband, daughter, father and I enjoy taking trips together. This was our second time in the Murphys area and the home was so cozy, clean and comfortable. Jennifer was a welcoming host and quick to communicate. It was close to downtown Murphys, a grocery store, and less than an hour from snow play areas. We would definitely return!

Great Anniversary Weekend!

My wife and I had a great stay at Jennifer’s cabin to celebrate our first anniversary. The house was clean, well maintained, and very cozy! Communication from the host was great and the instructions were simple and easy to follow. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

Great stay in gold country

Jennifer's place was perfect for our group of five (four adults and one kid). It is exactly like the photos. All of us enjoyed the den+kitchen+dining room area; the plant obsessed people in our group (me) couldn't stop looking at the succulent collection. My kid called the master bath the "fancy bath" and loved taking baths in the bathtub. The front garden was beautiful. The back deck was relaxed and restful. We went in late July. Lots of shade from the trees. Jennifer was an amazing host. Great communication from the very start. She suggested several activities in the area, like Columbia State Historic Park and Astronomy Night at Calaveras Big Trees Park. She quickly responded to a question about where to get a floatie (it was really important at the time). And when there was an unexpected power outage for all of Murphys and part of Angels Camp, she was in touch with us with information on battery powered lamps (already setup in the den and living room), portable lights, and current PGE information. A wonderful place to stay.

Adorable comfortable home

This is a charming home in Murphy's, it has a lovely back deck and creek running through the backyard area. We also appreciated the quiet and not having neighbors too close, plus a winery down the street. The host has thought of everything. My kiddos enjoyed it too, my daughter called the den the "secret living room" :)

Great rental close to the snow

We rented this house for a few days and enjoyed driving up to Bear Valley from it. It is a great location with all the amenities you need and the place was really nice. And it was only a short 50 min drive up to the snow in Bear Valley. I really recommend it :)

We had a great girls trip and loved the property. We like to cook ,watch movies. and play games and this house accommodated all our activities. Jennifer was very good at communicating and accommodating us.

California getaway

Midway stop Sacramento- Yosemite. Nice quiet neighborhood just on the outskirts of fun small town of Murphys. Lots to see and do in close proximity. A relaxing getaway.

Comfortable and Quiet

We were looking for a place from which to enjoy the beauty of the Sierra. Jennifer's home was comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood and just right for my sister and me. There was plenty of room for relaxing and the home was stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed dinners on the deck which is very private. We went up the mountain to Alpine Lake which was very mellow and pretty and to walk among the giant sequoia at the Calaveras Big Trees. We really enjoyed our time in this home.

I originally moved to San Francisco from Oklahoma in 1991. While I love living in the city, I often like to escape to Murphys to decompress and commune with nature. In 2010, I started an Intellectual Property legal consulting business which allows me to travel while I work, so I like to get up to Murphys as often as possible. I have traveled to every continent except for Antarctica, but I don't plan to let that exception stand for long.

I first fell in love with Murphys on a weekend trip with my best friend. We were exploring the Gold Country on Highway 49 and stumbled upon Murphys on our way up to hike through the redwoods grove in Calaveras Big Trees State Park. After that weekend, I came back many times to enjoy the wineries, restaurants, hikes and dreamed of buying a vacation home in this quaint historic town. In 2016 my dream came true, and I bought my own place to escape in the woods.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It is a picture perfect setting in Murphys nestled on a 1/2 acre with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and formal living room with a sky light and large picture window overlooking a beautiful large back deck and a family room with a fireplace. I love watching the birds, squirrels, and deer from my hammock on the back deck or from the warmth of the den with binoculars. The first weekend I moved in I saw a flying squirrel jump from tree to tree behind the house, and I was certain this was the best decision I had ever made.
