CASA BRUMAR apartment takes glamour to the next level. A dash of bling details each room, with flax, velvet and antique pieces adding an air of elegance to the modern abode. Set in a 14th-century Palace, the residence offers a taste of life in an era of grand entertaining—along with plenty of modern comforts. It’s across from Piazza San Michele and next to the Piazza San Giusto, a 2 to 5 minutes walk away the city’s best-known sights such as the Puccini Concerts at the Church of San Giovanni, Via Fillungo, Guinigi Tower and the Amphitheatre. Centrally located, a 10-minute stroll will get you to either train station and bus terminal which makes it easy to travel around Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Viareggio, Pistoia, Montecatini Terme, Livorno and many others are within 1 hour ride.

The pointed top of St Giovanni Bell Tower rises above the rooftops in the views from this vibrant apartment. A private terrace overlooking the churches and renaissance palaces around is the perfect spot for an afternoon spritz and snack while watching the city pass by.

Beautiful Lucca

Easy check in with very responsive hosts. Although we had all we needed they were great to check in periodically on our stay. Lucca is a beautiful city and we can’t wait to come back. Very thorough guest info book as well!

Fabulous place- great location and bright and comfy.

Love the terrace and decorated beautifully. Time for a new bed in the main bedroom! It’s a bit worn, and would leave more toilet paper. Two rolls for an 8 day stay seemed minimal.

Great apartment in great location

The apartment was clean and perfect for 2 people. It's in a great central location too! The apartment could use a few more utensils such as a ladle and a warmer blanket option as it was very cold a few nights.

We loved Casa Brumar! It was beautiful, and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay there again. It was so clean and comfortable. We just walked out the door and we were at Via Filungo for shopping and eating. ♥️♥️♥️🇮🇹

Fantastic terrace and beautifully decorated

We loved spending time on the very comfortable outdoor terrace. Great location with easy walking to all of Lucca. Wall with walking/running path was close by for morning and evening exercisecasual strolling. Beautiful interior with all amenities.

The apartment is located in the heart of the walled city. It is spacious and well appointed. The private terrace was the best part of our stay. Morning coffee, afternoon wine in a peaceful setting. The kitchen could be better stocked with cookware but was very usable. Would definitely stay here again!

Location of this property couldn’t be better.

Really clean and comfortable house. The terrace a huge plus for Lucca. Can’t beat a week relaxing in Lucca. Had an issue with shower on arrival which was quickly sorted by agent. Air con also hugely welcome in the high temperatures.

Delightful Apartment in Central Lucca

This apartment really felt like home away from home. It was beautifully appointed with a stunning deck in a very central location. An easy walk from the train station and all sights in Lucca. Manuel took exceptional care of us meeting us early and staying in constant contact during our stay. We made ample use of the cooking and washing facilities without a problem and highly recommend this property. Lucca is a stunning town and this property backs that up.

Great stay in beautiful Lucca

I spent six weeks in Casa Brumar, the purpose being to learn Italian in a local school and enjoy "la dolce vita" in the city. The apartment is ideally situated right in the center but at the same time very quiet with lovely views from the french windows and terrace. Several local friendly local shops around, with nice and fresh products. The "conciergerie" is very helpful. And I certainly hope to come back and be able to stay in the same place again.

Fabulous apartment with an amazing location

The apartment is really nicely decorated and very comfortable. Has everything you need in terms of amenities. There is no parking nearby though so be aware of that when booking. We came by train and it was an easy walk from the station. You can also order a taxi if needed. Even though the apartment was very centrally located, it was still very quiet. Would highly recommend this place! Touching base with the clients during the stay to ensure all is well and that they don’t have any questions would be nice.
