Appartement en front de mer (plus grand modĂšle des deux chambres) avec deux espaces de vie sĂ©parĂ©s (un appartement d'une chambre avec cuisine et un studio connectĂ©). Le studio et l'appartement peuvent ĂȘtre sĂ©parĂ©s pour une meilleure intimitĂ© si vous le souhaitez en fermant les portes du couloir.
Le complexe dispose de 13 courts de tennis en terre battue et de 2 parcours de golf de 18 trous accessibles sur rendez-vous moyennant un supplément. Location d'eau à la plage, bar de plage et bien plus encore !!

La forĂȘt tropicale d'El yunque est Ă  7 minutes avec des cascades et des sentiers. Le parc d'aventures de la forĂȘt tropicale de Carabali est Ă  cinq minutes avec l'Ă©quitation de la forĂȘt tropicale et de la plage, des aventures en quad sur quatre pistes et plus encore ... Restaurants, Casino et musique live Ă  l'hĂŽtel. N'oubliez pas de visiter la tyrolienne et le kayak de nuit dans la baie bioluminescente (une expĂ©rience incroyable Ă  Fajardo ou pour un vrai rĂ©gal Ă  Vieques)!

Cette propriété est grande, offre une vue magnifique sur la plage et est directement en face de la plage (séparée uniquement par la piscine à débordement). Il est situé à l'intérieur du complexe Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa, juste à cÎté du bùtiment principal de l'hÎtel Wyndham. Il n'y a pas d'autre propriété plus proche des commodités du Wyndham Resort que celle-ci! La propriété dispose de deux places de parking (dont une couverte). Good Location, nice views

The location is perfect and the views from the apartment. This is an apartment facing the beach. We had a great time with the family. The space is great My only and main problem was that the apartment was not clean. The last guest left a lot of food in the fridge. The dishwasher was full with dirty dishes. The closet full of things we could not use. A lot of dust, they need a deep clean. They can use a iron, we were here for a wedding anniversary event and couln't find a way to iron our clothes.

Puerto Rico is beautiful

We enjoyed our time on the island, especially the outdoors. The property is on a great resort and we had the pools and beaches to ourselves. The property management team was difficult. Getting a grill seemed like I was annoying them. The villa was without water for over 6 hours. When we contacted management, we were told it would be 30 minutes. No explanation, apology or excuses given. The villa was not well kept. The water pressure was minimal. Faucets and shower heads should be updated. The air conditioner in the bedroom leaks. Nice views, great location. We were charged $75 for a supposed hole in the wall above the living room. I strongly contest this charge, but no return call, email or follow up by the owner. In my opinion, this was a BS money grab from the deposit and no proof of the hole was provided. Gave up trying to get my money back.

Ideally Situated!

We could not have asked for a better location in terms of : A) ease of day trips to Viejo San Juan (Segway Tour not to be missed) and Fajardo (lots of options to take group or private tour to various islands or tour Las Cabeza de San Juan when it is reopened. B) Right on beach!! with 5 min drive to Palmer (adorable small town) the gateway to El Yunque exploration. We loved returning to the tranquil, gated community in the evenings and enjoyed the local restaurants each evening and non-touristy coffee shops for coffee and Pan de Agua breakfasts. The apartment is a very large 2bedroom/2 bath with balcony and master br view of ocean as well as other master window looking towards El Yunque. We could relax fully having plenty of space to be together and also spread out to have quiet time for middle age parents and loud music for teenage sons in their room. The infinity pool/ jacuzzi area is ridiculously lovely and quiet compared to the resort atmosphere of the hotel down the beach a bit. I wouldn’t describe the apartment interior as luxerious, but it was clean and had everything required to have a luxurious vacation. Including big delicious beach towels to borrow and a washer drier in the kitchen. Juan handled any issues we had and we were there during the earthquake and our vacation did not suffer! If anything it increased our already high opinion of the Puerto Rican people. Do not hesitate to come to Puerto Rico for your own pleasure and to provide the tourism that is so deserved and necessary for a Puerto Rico. If you can’t afford this unit, there are several cheaper offerings in other nearby buildings with a ride to beach, but if you can make it work, do! We spent more Than we planned and pinched in other ways and are happy we did! The ocean villa pool area is much more lovely than the one for other buildings and the ease of being right there for a quick dip with a view before or after activities really enhanced our precious vacation.

Location !!!

I overall truly enjoyed the property. The Oceanfront view is one of the best I’ve seen ! We spent most of our time on the balcony, at the pool and hot tub or strolling along the beach . SO QUIET , and we walked 5 minutes to the casino . The King sized bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is tiny but was ok for our needs. We did find a lot of items in the refrigerator, I understand it’s not a hotel and a Sharing community , which is fine but expired things should be discarded, and finding condoms in the freezer was kind of weird . The dishwasher was dirty and had to be cleaned and no garbage bag provided. The appliances are old but we just dealt with it because when I sat on the balcony and listened to the ocean it was more pro than con. The apartment is on a corner ( Awesome) and super quick walk to the pool. Toilet seat and light in Master bath are broken. My boyfriend had to mop the porch and wash outside windows that were so dirty you couldn’t see through them. Only Netflix on tv, I couldn’t figure out cable tv , because I like the weather channel and my regular tv reality show but maybe it’s not be available , I did communicate to the owner and he communicated back. I appreciate the stay , just needs a good cleaning. Thank you. !!

Relaxing Getaway

The apartment is spacious, and the views are spectacular. The grounds are also awesome, with great pools and a hot tub. Beach access is right in front of the pools. 24/7 security, which is a plus for us. It does need a little TLC but overall, it is clean. Just needs some minor details to tweak. If you’re looking for a nice beach front condo, this is a great choice.

Tranquil and safe

Property is as described. Very clean and many little extras in the main closet to take to the beach or pool which you wake up to each morning as they are right off the third floor balcony. The casino at the property is very small, but when you have two golf courses, a rain forest and a multitude of beaches...who wants to be sitting in a casino? Juan, the property manager, is very quick to respond to any inquiries. The kitchen is very small, but functional. The beds are very comfortable as well. The location is great being directly across from El Yunque Rain Forest. It only took us 45 minutes to get to the property from the airport in San Juan. We also went to eat at one of the many restaurants (Roots Coastal Kitchen) on property and the food was very good, albeit a bit pricy. If we make plans to return to Puerto Rico, we will definitely be reaching back out to Juan to stay again.

Good alternative to the Hotel next door

The villa was good and for the most part it had everything we needed. The only thing I would say is that the check in process was not easy or simple. To get in the villa we needed a code, which was not provided to us, we spent 40 minutes trying to contact the property manager so we can get the code and enter the villa. Overall our stay was good and would do it again.

Beautiful!

This property is absolutely beautiful!! The accommodations were very comfortable well kept. I had gotten concerned about the cleanliness after reading some reviews, but it is clean- however some dust needs to be knocked off some light fixtures- but that was not a big deal at all to us. I would definitely stay here again! The grounds are beautiful! Ocean front and rainforest in the back- how perfect!

Perfect resort and regional location

This property sits next to a convention center which is connected to the main hotel. Easy walking distance to the hotel amenities (no pool access but restaurants etc.) and central location to many area attractions. It was amazingly quiet and the property (pools and grounds) were very well maintained. Easy walk to the beach from the condo and views in the living room and Master bedroom were spectacular. Nice to have access to your rental car with parking in the garage below. The condo provided plenty of space for a family with separate bedrooms/bathrooms at opposite ends. Note the kitchen is extremely small and only one person at a time can utilize it. Some minor updates would be nice (dishwasher works but is wonky and the over the stove micro is broken and the counter one takes up valuable space). Not a lot of bowls but plenty of pots & pans. Ice maker in freezer was great to have and a stop at Costco on the way in saved $$ by not having to eat out constantly. The hotel has "it's five o'clock somewhere" bar with food and they did a decent job with service, drinks & food. Plenty of towels, beach toys and extra's that folks have left for others (bug spray, condiments, laundry det. etc). I highly recommend this condo for your stay!!!

Great location

The villa has nice view and great location. Facilities in general need an upgrade. Villa is spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness in the villa needs attention to avoid unexpected surprises. It's my only recommendation to avoid bad impressions in your customers.

Beautiful Vacation Spot

This villa was a perfect place for my husband and I and our 22 and 23 year old sons. The villa was very roomy and comfortable. The second bedroom/bathroom gave my sons privacy and the master bedroom looked out over the beautiful turquoise waters on one side and the mountains of El Yunque on the other. We cooked breakfast every morning and prepared lunch each day. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. The pool areas and beach were beautiful. On the weekend it was crowded but come Monday morning we had the place to ourselves with a few other families. Some reviews here speak of the cleanliness of the unit. I wouldn't let that deter you from renting this unit. I just think Juan and Susan need to address this with their cleaning crew to be more thorough. Down the road, along PR-3 were plenty of small outdoor restaurants. If you make a left at the intersection of PR-3 on the right hand side was a bbq place that was very good. We went to the Luquillo kiosks and twice we drove into San Juan for dinner. We also spent a day hiking in El Yunque. I would suggest you get there as soon as it opens. We went on Easter Sunday and as the day went on it was very crowded and hard to park at some waterfalls. This was the perfect place for us to reconnect as a family. Thank you to Juan and Susan for sharing it with us.

Excellent Grounds but the unit needs work

The grounds are a 10. Right on the ocean, amazing views. Very quiet and uncrowded. Plus, with full access to the Wyndham within walking distance, there are additional pools (albeit more crowded), good restaurants and bars. Beach is great and uncrowded. Condo came with ample beach toys, boogie boards, towels, etc. The owner manager was very responsive when we had a power issue, they answered immediately and it was addressed immediately. However the unit is showing its age. It needs an update. There are several holes in the walls with unprofessional patch jobs. the furniture needs updating. I feel bad providing a negative review but, the unit needs a very thorough cleaning. We found empty beer bottles in several cabinets, carpeting in the master bedroom needs a shampoo or to be replaced, master bathroom shower drained very slow, tons of left over shampoo bottles from previous guests, caulking in bathroom needs to be replaced, the kitchen needs a very intense cleaning (top of the refrigerator was in bad shape with dust and dirt). Overall it was a great stay. But, we were disappointed with the cleanliness and age of the condo.

We enjoyed the location and the property overall. The resort is stunning and the view is amazing! The property is close to excursions, restaurants and shopping. The pools were wonderful. However, the condo needs some updates and was not as clean as we would have liked. The kitchen is small but nice to have the option to eat in if you choose to. The resort food is pricey but there are other options nearby.

Great Resort Great Location

We had a wonderful time at our Ocean Villa condo. The condo has everything you need including beach toys and a sand umbrella. The kitchen is a little small but it has everything you need. Both rooms have safes although it took us a few days to find the one in the master bedroom under the sink in the bathroom. We went grocery shopping and were very happy that the resort had a few shopping carts off the lobby to use to bring the groceries up to our condo. The condo is about 25 minutes from San Juan. We rented a car and drove to everything. Our excursions were 30 to 45 minutes away which was very convenient. Our favorite excursion was the snorkel trip through East Island Excursion. We did the same trip three years ago when we were in Puerto Rico and it was just as great as we remembered. Also fun was zip lining and the kayak trip to the bio bay. The bio-luminescence wasn't very apparent but the kayak trip through the mangroves was lovely. This is such a great property and we will definitely be back.

Great Location.

We have rented numerous properties through VRBO/Homeaway. Our stay was for a long weekend in January. The grounds, pool area, beach, and location are all fantastic. The condo is a little dated and in need of some minor repairs/updates. Juan was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay which is why we’re giving it 4 stars, but this is not a 5 star property.

Very comfortable villa in a great location!

Wow, we had a terrific week in Puerto Rico. For those of you who are concerned about hurricane damage and lack of services... no need to worry. While you can still see signs of the destruction the island endured, all services are up and running. The natural beauty of the island out shines the signs of damage! This Ocean Villa is the perfect home base to explore the eastern side of the island. The unit is located on the Wyndham Rio Grande Resort complex; which includes golf courses, tennis courts, a casino and restaurants. The Ocean Villa buildings have their own pools (huge infinity edge facing the beach!) and beach access. Juan has provided everything you need to enjoy both. There are plenty of beach towels, boogie boards and sand toys. There are even a couple of coolers to carry drinks down to the beach. The villa complex has lots of lounge chairs around the pool and on the beach. If you want to grab a cocktail or lunch, the "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere" pool side restaurant/bar at the Wyndham hotel is a two minute walk. The villa itself is very comfortable. It's located on the third floor and has a terrific oceanfront view from the balcony. There is plenty of room for 6-8 people. One bedroom has two double beds with a full bath while the other has a king bed with full bath. The couch in the living room pulls out into a queen bed. The kitchen is small, but it has everything you need. There is a small table (seats 4-5) comfortably, so it's not conducive to having formal sit down meals for 6-8 people. BUT... why would you want to cook dinner when there are fantastic local restaurants within a short drive?? I highly recommend a trip to the Kioscos' just up RT. 3 in Luquillo Beach. The resort is a 45 minutes drive from the airport. It's far enough away from the tourist area of San Juan to allow you to have an authentic experience. The El Yunque rain forest is a ten minute drive... it's also your view out of the windows on the back side of the villa. Within a short drive of the villa there is a Panaderia (bakery- you must try the Pan de Aqua!), mini-market, full scale grocery store and drug store (CVS and Walgreens). All in all, this is a great villa for a Puerto Rican adventure!

We have been coming to this resort for years with relatives who also own in the same building and have always loved it. We were so happy when we got the opportunity to purchase this apartment. We come as often as we can - even sometimes just for an afternoon because there is nothing that beats the feeling we get when we walk in the front door. I don't know if it is the view, the breeze, the sound or that ocean scent, but it always fills me with such peace. We have pretty hectic lives and this zone of tranquility is such a blessing. We hope you find the same joy in our little bubble. Sit on the balcony, drink a cup of coffee(or glass of wine depending on time of day!) and let your cares drift away on the ocean breeze. It works for me! :)
